  1. i didnt get to do alot of flights in the latest update but i still remeber attacking that one airfield with all stationary units and george just missing by the slightest margin every time since he drifts the TADS around a bit too much even with the autopilot and everything in a nearly perfect hover, honestly there were 7 units left and i needed 15 hellfires to kill them..... (most of them AA so i couldnt just get closer), i was shooting from around 7.5 km or so however on an other sortie i was just quickly engaging convois moving on a road and he managed to kill 5 units with 5 hellfires so idk what to say.... to get back ontopic here tho, i dont get why he wont use LMC on stationary targets, it would give us as the pilot much more confidence to move while he is shooting something aswell, i hope he gets to use IAT once we get that, should help him with stationary aswell as moving targets
  2. haha, when the apache came out i was hoping this year, but my asumption is mid-end next year, the FCR is a huge undertaking afterall, alot of other systems have to work together with it aswell TADS, TSD etc... 2 weeks
  3. yeh, suprisingly enought he is better hitting moving targets than stationary ones lol
  4. i agree, it would be nice if we had a switch in the special options to sort by range or threat, especaly since we dont have the Laser warning yet wich would alert me of tanks trying to take shots at me while im looking trough the list
  5. hmm, then a better way to describe it would be, that the pnvs only adjusts to your head 30 times per sec, making it feel like 30 ish fps ( or less ) while moving your head around i tend to not use it much unless i absolutly have to since the lag makes it just realy uncomfortable to use, wich is sad since i think its a great adition to the heli
  6. i think the best way to describe it is that the pnvs runs at 30 fps while the game ( in my case ) around 130-140fps , so the difference is huge, if you play on a 60hz montor you are probly less likely to feel the difference....

    sounds similar to the jf17 where you get all DL info on your SA page but your radar is something "different" and it doesnt play over, realy good to know tho, cant wait to play AWACS with the powerfull radar on the f15 and share contacts over L16
  8. ah, no sorry i was refering to the fact that it should Load threats around your F10 points, instead of the whole map
  9. to give some ideas, i think it would be great if 1. You can set points on the F10 map and it will populate threats around your points 2. just a slider in the special menu allowing you to set "operational range" , lets say 100km, it will only populate threats 100km around my home airfield
  10. from one of the recent vids from wags you can see that they seem to be working on it, sadly, it didnt come with the current patch

  12. i dont think there is much to explain here, as you can see in the vid, it looks like the way How LMC works got... inverted?   13. allright, just got to test the recent update, it might not sayso in the patch notes but it does feel smoother to fly, maybe im going crazy who knows still trying to figure out a way how to yaw in a hover without having to depress the trim, since that will esentialy put you out of the hovermode aswell
  14. when i made my coment earlyer it might have sound like im REALY complaining about it, im not, its just something i notice, trying to turn left/right in a hover just wont let you do it, you can hold down the trimm button but that usualy makes it worse for me when im hovering lol, its a good start, and the SCAS simply just is complicated, i do feel like some high speed ocelations could be fixed by adjusting PID values but there is most likely alot more going into that.... but just to put it down here, i still enjoy flying around and doing missions in the Apache, and i guess seeing that there is room to improve its gonna give me something to look forward to
  15. im quite dissapointed how the SCAS behaves aswell , especaly when trying to do smaler adjustments at low speeds its fighting you alot, good example is trying to yaw while hovering the only way you get it to yaw is by oversaturating the SCAS but once you let go of the pedals it trys to overcorrect and it just makes the heli wobble all the time same when going faster than 120-130 knots , i feel like they gotta adjust the PIDs on the whole thing, but they should get the flightmodel itself fixed first ofc.... i just wish it was higher priority, funny enought, i tought the apache flew better at release, now its fighting me more than helping me
  16. realy depens how invested i am in the situation atm, if im just flying around to get some kills and dont mindgetting shot down i would slow down and engage, if i wanna play with a more realistic aproach i would bank away as soon as possible(after having them stored), if i didnt nothice those guys in the treeline up untill now, what else might be out there? so yeh, turn away, bank back in from far away and start a carefull scan of the area, if its safe, then attack saying i like to go by is: biggest threat, is an unknow threat
  17. i was wondering if it was possible to get some better AT inf in the game, for the most part inf doesnt play much of a role in this game since we talk about realy large distances mostly but if they could engage vehicles at around 2km that would change it up quite a bit, especaly seeing how effective they are in UA atm i play on servers where you get to move and sling around troops, and i would just like to have the option of puting AT troops in deffensive positions where they could intercept tanks for example
  18. while i dont know how to do it myself, some aircraft have the option to insert a Board number in the Rearm&refuel, maybe you could link the number to that so that anyone can put in whatever number they want
