  1. Updated mod works beautifully! Thank you!
  2. It looks like - at least on this carrier - they taxied under their own power. 21:20 shows that, again at least on this carrier, they had steering assist via towbar to catapult. It's really disconcerting to see flight deck personnel run underneath moving aircraft.
  3. I think I mentioned previously that my father served in the USN. He was on the Ashtabula, the L.Y. Spear, the Detroit, and the Platte. Dad and I got into flight sims when I was quite young - 12 or so. Before we had the internet, we would take turns flying A-10 Attack! on the Macintosh. Later, we flew together in Dawn of Aces, Warbirds, and I think a short stint in Aces High. He went down the dark road of NASCAR racing simulation, but got a real kick out of screenshots I sent him of your assets in DCS and always had a story to share about whatever particular ship I had screenshotted from above. I think he was really happy to see the AS/AO/AOE classifications represented in a sim. I think he toyed with the idea of getting back into flying with HBs F-14. A few months back, Enigma likened DCS to a digital museum, a place where history can be preserved and explored in a non-destructive manner. I don't disagree, but there's something more to it for a lot of folks: DCS can serve as a connection to memories in a way that a brick and mortar museum cannot. Dad passed away late last year(on Thanksgiving day of all days), and I still feel a small connection to him when I fly over the L.Y. Spear or Detroit. My point is that while your work is important to a lot of people because of the capability and class/type representation you bring to DCS, for others the assets you create serve as a connection to memories and relationships past. Thank you.
  4. It's not released yet. That's the Type 23 referenced earlier that had to be refactored.
  5. Give this a shot. /Mods/terrains/Syria/vfsTextures/ All credit to Barthek, I just added a few textures from the update that weren't in the zip of the mod. There may be more errors, don't have the time for a complete test/check. HardSplatColor.zip
  6. Cyprus appears particularly impacted.
  7. Is a FW-190D not a warbird?
  8. My pedals also don't have toe brakes. IMO, the A-4 is not a viable module without toe brakes. 'Simple Braking' is the best option but you will end up in the grass often. Carrier ops are completely off the table. I just tried using two buttons as brakes and that was worse. I don't know what it is about the A-4 specifically, but it is easily the worst ground handling aircraft I have messed with. The Fw-190D is much easier by comparison.
  9. Seeing the same behavior as EA-18G_BlockII. 2023-08-13 03:46:12.678 INFO APP (Main): MissionSpawn:spawnShips 80 2023-08-13 03:46:12.696 ERROR woShip (Main): Failed to create ship: Descriptor not found weapons.shells.M61_20_AP_gr
  10. Hell, they should just pay him and include additional AI assets with every module release.
  11. Osean thot patrol complete. Quick bug report: AIM-120C listed twice on hardpoint 3, appears that the AIM-120C ID was used instead of the AIM-120C ID.
  12. This man has done more to keep me buying modules than any other single thing in the arena. ED, step up and give this guy some bandwidth!
  13. The Osean dogs will soon learn our might!

  15. I believe Razbam is working on the exocet launcher.
  16. Which download has those big cooling towers?
  17. I think it's fine. They look great on tpod or flying overhead. I'm looking forward to the cooling towers as well!
  18. Outstanding! I didn't know the Comfort was a converted oil tanker. I wonder if they ever got the smell out...
  19. This is going to be one of the more important mods released in recent memory. AFAIK there's never been a place-able, attackable nuclear facility in DCS.
  20. Kidd-class Provides USN early 80s asset as a stand-in for the Spruance, and also represent Kee Lung class. Pohang-class An important class on its own that can also convincingly stand-in for many classes of multirole corvette/small frigate of the '80s.
