Thanks guys, I know of all these techniques mentioned. The issue was kind of wanting to scan targets under cloud cover under 10k feet. I guess no one knows which files to edit to make it happen.

Is there a way to decrease the default minimum TGP magnification even further? I still find the magnification too high to scan wide areas with it.

I took a massive fps hit with 13.8 on my 7970. I reverted back to 13.6 also. Can we even get 13.4? Would it be better than 13.6?

Thanks for sharing. I see that you're using an Nvdia card now as per your sig instead of an ATI. Is it running better for you? what are your current settings regarding fps vs your old 7970? I know for a fact ATI cards are lagging behind Nvdia cards in DCSW. There is even a dedicated thread about it. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=109498

What's your secret? My 7970 3GB card has horrible frame rates, ave 20-30 frames. I have an i7 4770 CPU at 4.3Ghz with 32GB Ram. I'm soo disappointed. Mind you in FSX or other sims it's great. Please post your CCC settings, sw version and video driver version. Also post your DCSW graphics settings from the option

I do concur also. When I change planes to an A-10C or a KA-50 I have at least 10fps more than the Huey

Green usually means down and locked regardless of condition . Red means up, not an indication of damage.

You're going to hate me. Use modelviewer. It's part of DCSW. You don't need tom start the sim and do all that, alt tab and whatnot.
