  1. Forgot to share this info for the skinners (F-15A SERIAL NUMBER by PRODUCTION BLOCK): Source: http://users.rcn.com/jeremy.k/serialSearch.html @streakeagle looks like only a few of mine won't be the cool ones. the reference photos I have for 'my' a-models have only an outer stab stripe Here is my list below of what I am making. Maybe an 'Early' and a 'Late' pack? AF75-0049 (A) AF75-0074 (A) AF75-0069 (A) AF76-0043 (A) AF76-0035 (A) AF76-0048 (A) AF76-0020 (A) AF76-0015 (A) - IN-WORK AF76-0016 (A), AF76-0050 (A) AF76-0027 (A) ----------------- AF79-0074 (C) AF79-0073 (C) AF79-0053 "Tiger One" (C) AF79-0009 (D) - CANNOT MAKE AF79-0064 (C) AF79-0067 (C) AF79-0015 (C) AF79-0066 (C) AF80-0013 (C) AF84-0023 (C) AF84-0025 (C) AF84-0014 (C) AF84-0009 (C) AF84-0002 (C) AF84-0019 (C) AF84-0004 (C) AF84-0013 (C) AF84-0043 (D) - CANNOT MAKE
  2. I have all of these that you posted. Yeah probably early, I like the '84-86 liveries with the black Eagle bands on the inner Stab. I can see that small grey panel on the engine heat panels. The A'S I have have tail stripes but no inner stab. The 'C's seem to be the only one who have it. The Desert Storm liveries would be the easiest to make since they are all uniform. These early ones though are pretty cool, just not all have the Wing Insignia on both sides for mine =o(.
  3. Was this one still in the US? What year is this? 1970's I can see it. 1984, this is the year I am doing. Just cant get rid of the metal gun shroud because it is hard modeled in. I did correct the color of mine though (53rd TFS)
  4. I wonder if someone could use some code form that (AJS-37) and the F-14 (for wing sweeping) to make a good MOD. I saw one on YouTube but every YouTube'r that showcasaes MOD's always gatekeeps. A really, really good MOD I cam across recently on these forums is the Su-30MK - . There is the S0-25SM3 MOD as well but it seems like the creators aren't developing it anymore for public use. -
  5. Exactly. I have an over abundance of Blufor planes. It's why I haven't bought the F-4E yet. Yeah it is an amazing module for sure however the Red's need some serious love. The drawback they have are the intellectual property laws of the REDFOR planes and helo's. I feel sorry for our other brothers who lost access to the red helicopters. I hope that by showing ED we do have serious intrest we can get our beloved (my first love in DCS) Su-25A as an FFMOD, and dare I say Su-27 "Flanker-B".
  6. The red canopy frames are not paint btw. It's more a reddish brown emulsion anodiC coating. Or more likley hard anodic, based on the chipping I see in the photos I have. I dont know about fully correct (525th). That blue is a bit bright for the 36th FW Coat-of-Arms. Missing a few service markings. Did the tailbands not extist for these guys. Thye should be Insignia Blue. The refueling door is corect for an early 'C' model with the bare metal. Early 'A' models had something like a yellow epoxy primer color to them.
  7. I'm part of this too. My fans are going nuts and my water cooler is too. Even when I'm on the carrier deck. When I get back on tonight I will post some pics.
  8. Song lyrics in post #1 are now correct. Here is the orginal music video from the war.
  9. So, no skin templates? Or is he talking about something else?
  10. The point is getting it at the sale price.
  11. I'm just curious what the MPG is in the FF MiG-29 . I just started to understand the FC3 version. Man you don't need burners to take off. Those engines are damn powerful. I was able to outrun an F-14 or something Blue at about 10m off the water at full burner to drag him into our SAM's. He hit me twice, must have been AIM-9's. This baby just took them both. I wanna say I was doing 1350+ or 1300+. I was very quickly glancing at my hud but more focus on my mirrors and the water rushing up to "high-five" if I make a mistake. Very tense situation on Caucaus
  12. Thanks Eric, downloaded! Can't wait to showcase mine soon.
  13. There is no bias only Zuul, lol j/k Steam requires a set date and ED does not have one. I think they gte held legally liable if they miss that date too. Steam is really scummy now.
  14. Picked her up! I shall name her 'Svetlana'
  15. Yeah that isn't a VR card. A 3080ti maybe but not that one.. Your specs seem pretty old. I bet the RAM is at 2000MHz. 8 cores just doesn't cut it anymore. You need at least 12 now. Some games however will run great on that. Yeah I'd turn down some setting to low - mid. More low than mid settings.
  16. Would there be any interest of creating FF ground vehicles that are at the Aircraft level of detail? The title of the game is Digital Combat Simulator. I know we have Combine Arms and all however, I think we some FF ground Vehicles. Is there any interest from the community for this? ZSU-23-4 'Shilka' Leopard 2A1 T-80B M1 'Abrams' (1980) BRDM-3 (9P124) Just to name a few. Not necessarilly asking for them.
  17. Violent Nomad is working on a Vietnam era Cobra right now. I posted my Cobra variant as the AH-1T 'Improved Sea Cobra'. I like of the idea of the Ka-27 that was posted earlier. It is already in the game as AI. I don't really know how ASW will work in this SIM. It would be nice to have and would open the door to the SH-60B Seahawk, SH-3H Seaking, UH-Y1 Venom ect.....
  18. This should be pinned, no lies detected.
  19. Updated link, it was accidentally set as 'restricted'. It is now an open link.
  20. I'll be ordering these too but may not put them in the download since I am paying for them: F-105D "The Educated Nose of the F-105D, a pilot's discussion of the R14A NASARR Radar Collins Radio company”, 1962 F-105D Thunderstick II Operational Supplement Flight Manual (T.O. 1F-105D-1S-231), 1971 --- The main Supp is in the DL F-105 Thunderchief Pilot’s Handbook on Communication Identification Navigation Subsystem (AN/ASQ-37), 1962
  21. After really looking at the quality Grinnelli has put into their aircraft through the images & video they post, I have total faith in them. I'm working on getting the other Thunderstick II Supplement. I have a contact at a University so I can buy a scanned copy. I have yet to scan the Nonnuclear Weapons Manual I have. That one will not be uploaded to respect ED's wishes. I will however freely loan it to a third Party Developer. It's just hard because ther are no flying examples and good luck getting a museukm to let you crawl all over their priceless museum artifact. There was an 'F' model on loan here in WA and begged to let them let take pics and record cockpit switch sounds. I am thinking of financing a Keyence VL-800 3D scanner and doing scans of a 1:32 scale F-105D & G model from Trupeter and Reskit after market parts they make. The platform is pretty darn big too.
  22. NEW BOOKS ADDED TO THE DOWNLOAD LINK null It's the 800+ page flight manual too
