Go here: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Textures Copy the .zip file and extract it to wherever. Inside you'll see the .dds files for everything you need. The .lua file doesn't need to be touched unless***. As far as the numbers go, those are user input. Make sure they are the same size and position when you make your custom number .dds. *** A lot of times skinners miss the fact that the numbers show up darker of lighter that the Code Letters. So make sure you're using the same values for black, grey, red, ect. You may also notice the custom tail markings to the top left named 'f15_decol3'. If you are actually painting these on the plane, then set the vaule to 'false' for that file name in the .lua. !!! DO NOT USE REGULAR NOTE PAD !!! (YOU WILL CORRUPT THE SKIN FILE IF YOU DO) Use NotePad++ : https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ null Once you make your .lua or shall I say edit it, make a new folder here: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Liveries\F-15C Then drop all your.dds files you made and your lua inside it. Or alternatively back inside the default folder with the unique names you gave them and re-zip, then drop it back in the 'Bazar\Textures' folder. null

Lately I have been seeing servers that advertise 70 player with 29 people on them and when you get in there, no planes are available. Or the servers that have planes vacant, and available like the A-4E-C, but no one wants to fly it. I am not going to name them but a gang of MiG-21's vs. A-4E is hardly balanced. Shoot even the Trigger Zone AI are MiG-21's. A MiG-21 is nothing to sneeze at, and I can't understand why people see it as equal to the A-4E (many levels above and totally different class) or less than the F-4E Phantom II. Some servers also turn up the enemy AA/AAA/SAM skill level to Veteran or Ace. How are we suppossed to kill them if we cant even get close? Plus we dont even have Shrikes anymore. There was one last night that had the L-39ZA, C-101, and the MB-339A and I wanted to go do some tree top level ground pounding but when you get in there, they are not available. I understand that sometimes territory needs to be taken over. The people in the "cool" planes are not even doing the tasks or even trying to advance territory. There is a server that we all know of that is meant for that, and likes the word Sidewinder =o). So....instead of continuing to bitch and moan, if I were to pay for a Fox3 server are there any misson makers here willing to make missions?

I hope so. I hope they add Kuwaiti bases too. We really can't do much in the IRAQ map and it shows on the MP servers. Usually there are only 1 or 2 people on them.

I think thbis is a great idea. Maybe if one of us makes it, ED will impliment them in. These links have lots of good details that skinners need. We appreciate this sort of thing. I have saved all three links.

Hey all, My first few runs out with the 39 I blew up in mid-air. I then did some digging and found out the 39 does not have an automatic temp control. Maybe I am asking the question wrong on Google. I'd like to know what is the continuos operating temp and RPM I can run without blowing up? Also what is the second needle for on the RPM gauge? I am asking because the mission makers have these aircraft on their servers but they make the objectives really far away. One mission was on the Cacusus in severe weather and I had to climb to 16,000+ feet because he put as at an airfield surrounded buy a giant mountain range that just grows and grows. The blowing up seems to happen when I am using outside views too.

I'm not the only one. There are a lot of people who cant do this. I checked Reddit. I contacted Discord and they just sent me back a webpage with instructions I already performed (and told them so). None the less, it is all working now.
