  1. Mop and Bucket assets pack?
  2. It sounds like something that might be a lot of work, though I’ve no idea. Fair point Dangerzone. I was binging a bit sarcastic, having a bit of a chuckle. I’d hope for a bit more movement than we’ll get on a chain ferry
  3. Something would be good. I’ve been waiting years for someone to fix the wipers in the Mossie, or give us Target Indicators, never mind Ground Crew and bods that move like humans. Imagine the time and effort needed to implement a sea state setting? Like I said, something would be good though. It’s not ideal as it is. Between five to ten updates ago, maybe more, they introduced a lot of stuttering or lag into the ‘World’. I still suffer a fair bit with it and every update I wonder if it’ll be sorted, or become worse. Reading around it seems I’m not alone with it. I’d be quite happy to see ED focusing on the mechanics of gameplay rather than shiny new toys to use in it. Having said that, more props please, they’re always welcome . I took a few boat trips recently so consider myself pretty well qualified to comment here. I used the chain link ferry in Poole a couple of times as well as the Isle of White ferry so I’m quite happy to share my findings in case anyone from ED needs any expert opinion on the physics of sea states. Happy to help
  4. Ok skipper, steady, steady…
  5. Not bad at all. I like the Paddy Finucane one
  6. It makes you wonder what’s up with some people. Don’t let one dickhead spoil it for everyone. I’m with Hiob, take more from those of us that appreciate all the tinkering.
  7. Well it looks good to me. Thanks for making the effort. I’ll download and try it next time I can get near the PC. It’s hotter than hell here at the minute, no chance of me firing up any electricals to add to the heat. I’ll have a look tomorrow, cheers.
  8. I had a quick look. Somehow I had two locos that were going forward and backing up a bit, then repeating it. Was quite amusing and probably something I’d messed up but there’s plenty to look at next time. Well done for building em all.
  9. Nice one Nomad. And well done Petr005 too. Good to hear it’s still ticking along.
  10. There’s a switch and some settings for countermeasures on the left panel beside your left elbow. You’ll have to bind them in controls too. I can’t be more specific as I’m not around it atm so have a look.
  11. See what this thing does to us all? it’s all love baby, it’s all love. Start to stop, ain’t nuthin but love. There’s gratitude T&8 thank you Edit: “we've even given him an affectionate name I'll leave out here” - Come on then, what’s his name? we all wanna know now . It’s Billy Biscuits isn’t it?
  12. Yep, it’s been mentioned here elsewhere. Threads merged incoming…
  13. Nice. You’ll have to put it all together as a ‘railway assets pack’ and post em in user files. Good to have the choice. Glad they sorted the rails out eventually .
  14. I’m using a Warthog with crosswinds like I do for everything. I haven’t messed with curves for the Corsair but I’m gonna have to. I think it needs work. It’s odd, both on the ground as well as in the air. I agree with people saying there’s a lack of feeling inertia properly, same with speed, it’s weird. I’m almost constantly trimming in the Spit too but that flies and feels a whole lot better. The Jug carries the weight properly and feels big and fat. This feels like it’s made out of an airfix kit when in the air. Overall I’m happy to have it but it doesn’t belong in the hangar alongside my other props. (Everything but the i16, including the Christen Eagle). This is still in the workshop (EA) and does still need working on. It’s got potential.
  15. Corsair needs some work. As others have pointed out it’s an unfair comparison, the Jug’s not EA. So good to have another decent prop and carrier capable’s always gonna be giggles.
  16. Yep, clicking left or right was confusing me until I sussed they’ll work whatever. toggles, sliders, rotaries, all o that.
  17. If any or all of you release a pristine looking cockpit as an option, I’d add it to my folder and thank you for giving us all the choice. I came here predominantly to fly Spits and as many other (old and musty) props as I can. Inevitably I’ve ended up flying Jets and Rotary aircraft too and happily. I like a bit of wear and tear on my props but some do go over the top with it. Everyone’s happy if we have all the options. People I’ve spoken with that own and maintain Spitfires, C-47s, Harvards, Tiger Moths and the like will always preserve and keep original parts of the aircraft that can be safely used and they’ll protect that precious bit of history. If you tried to retouch anything they’d chop your bleedin hand off. I’ve seen many cockpits that have barely been touched in eighty odd years that still look perfectly serviceable. I’ve also seen some in an absolute mess. The servicemen and women that I’ve ever met aren’t usually careless in the way they go about looking after their aircraft. Things are likely to get scuffed but more surface scratches than damage. Some may have different experiences o course. Well done for cracking on and giving us more options to choose from. This one does need brightening up a bit.
  18. … goes off to user files eta - very nice
  19. Put em in the Mossie and fire her up. I ‘wooden wonder’ they’ll get the picture
  20. Marvellous. Thanks for that. - while they’re tinkering with the sounds, whisper in their ears about the weird wind noise we get inside the Mossie. If it’s not too much trouble o course. Cheers
