Came here to whinge about this too. I already have enough tinnitus thanks. I bailed out of my Mossie by the time I got in the air as I was in danger of having a nervous breakdown or something. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee for ten minutes isn’t doing it for me really. Get this fixed quick for gods sake. Wish they’d take more care with our Mossies. and it’s about time we had our wipers done while they’re at it, please.

I went away for my Birthday for a week. When I came back and checked in I found threads on the Corsair and wondered what was going on. Nice surprise to come home to, another decent prop for the collection . First thing for me was the sound. I don’t think it’s anywhere near as grunty or as loud as it should be? I’ve seen these fire up, taxi and fly at airshows and I remember them being pretty noisy buggers. Put this up with a Bearcat and they rumble. Maybe a bit of axis tuning’s needed as it’s a bit twitchy on the Warthog. It ‘feels’ something like a lighter Jug to me. I saw someone bring one in and roll out on two wheels for miles so I know it can be landed properly. Haven’t touched the weapons yet. Agree with whoever it was that said about the feel for speed being a bit off somehow and we need more binding control, axis bindings etc. Pulling up the different cockpit lights takes an age. EA so should improve hopefully. So good to have another prop though, thanks to all involved and please, carry on like that. Maybe a surprise Typhoon, a Tempest? Bearcat, Wildcat or something? All good. Called my bank, no problems there, opened a ticket, got some options of ways to pay then tried again as I had before and voila, somehow it worked. Nice surprise to find it released after a bit of time off. cheers

I’m not sure if it’s a bug per se but I’ve tried about a dozen times to buy it without any joy. either the payment thing times out or it throws me a payment declined message. Money’s in the bank, I have miles that would prolly cover it but I can’t grab it whatever I’m doing. i don’t see anyone else having trouble so it’s bound to be something my end. Any ideas anyone? cheers for looking. ETA I’ve tried before and after updating.

I haven’t flown it in anger for a long time but when I do I like to dive bomb the targets (and blow my wing off on the odd occasion) as well as ‘shooting’ em away. Great module but how am I still going so slowly for a Mossie? I know, wrong type of Mossie but let’s have the rapid version too please? Got a Birthday soon too so come on ED, we’re ready for a big Prop-drop. Flyable Dak with paras wouldn’t go amiss , TIA .

Does look good in the golden hour . I can’t wait either. Looking every bit as good as anything we have. Better to me as it’s a mod from a small team and a real labour of love. Priceless. Looks like the postman chucked a letter in the tree, you’ll have to watch out for that . Keep on tinkeron.

A Hurricane would be great. Don’t think they’ll entertain us but I’d love one. Oh and a Typhoon… and a Wildcat… and a Corsair, B25, Sunderland etc. etc. Props, props, more props and a bit of Malta wouldn’t be a bad thing at all.

Yep. I’m up for pretty much anything from the 40s too. Glacial would be an improvement.

My Hurricane has no 110s or 111s to defend against, it’s also quite lacking in the Hurricane dept. My Mossie should be doing 420mph but it doesn’t. My Carrier and most of the fleet were built by dedicated Modders (thank you). My Swordfish doesn’t exist yet, not counting modded AI models. My Wildcats, Corsairs and Typhoons are figments of my imagination. My lunch is ready. I’m still surprised someone finally built a map of Germany and set it in the wrong era. I wonder about almost every choice made when it comes to DCS’ approach to WWII. Still love me props but ugh what a missed opportunity. Make sense of it all, please.

There’s hope, I thought I’d never get it sorted when I first tried it too. I wouldn’t say the Mossie’s easy to either land or take off. Not straight away anyhow. Like a lot of things, easy when you know how. Saying that, I still rush in and smash em up regularly enough. Keeps the chippies busy . I’d say don’t hang about with the throttles. I’ve usually got my RPMs to 3,000 within a couple of seconds, maybe three? I usually trim the nose down around 1 1/2 notches. I sometimes have to flick the brake with rudder to straighten the nose, once the speed finally starts to build I might be twitching my pedals some. Almost before I’m airborne I get the gear in. Probably best not to try that one but get em in as early as possible. I use a button to unlock em before I throttle up and a switch to bring em up or down. Try not to climb or turn too early, stay straight and level and let the speed build first and trim out. Practice, practice, and practice, you’ll suss it. It’s a great module, worth all the wreckages. Don’t forget to pack your sandwiches and bring a flask, enjoy.
