  1. I have experienced the same problem.
  2. Here's the latest on what "unofficial" mods others are flying. My "Must Haves" (aircraft mods) are the F-18 & F-15EX and Flaming Cliffs. Although I own the Apache and Huey as well. ...anything from @currenthill also.
  3. Well we have it working now. I've been Beta Testing the F-15EX. Also, the F-22A is back on the board.
  4. Ya, I don't understand why there is so much complaining. I mean, I get that the sim can be flaky at times. ...and yes, i can get pretty expensive so a little rebuttal is justified. But, I would much rather work with ED and mod devs to get this game running the way the community thinks it should. Bitching and whining really gets you no where.
  5. results so far: I thinks this is a good mix. But, thought a lot more people were flying the EX. null
  6. I have not seen this ground detection issue. But I will double check. @Skatezilla 's fix has me up and flying the F-22A again. We will just have to keep tweaking until we get it right.
  7. @GrinnelliDesigns - The only system error I remember getting last night was "flaps" being displayed on the MFD. Not sure if that went away or not.
  8. I will post another survey to gather community data and the use of "unofficial" mods in general. This one is still cooking.
  9. Not a screenshot. But someone should make this skin - aye?
  10. I can confirm we are almost there. Good job SkateZilla
  11. What about using a previous version of the Input.dll saved in the mod's own directory structure and called from there? Could cause conflicts I would guess.
  12. Thanks for the details @SkateZilla. So with all that being said, is there a possible solution? Even with the loading the F-15C first, we still have the avionic issues (i.e. landing gear, flaps, etc.). Plus we are still seeing the "Corrupt damage model" error. Not really sure what that means.
  13. The dependency is what made them easy and fun to fly. IMHO, ED should most definitely protect their IP while at the same time consider the thousands of users in the community helping to pay their bills. I would say there is only a very, very small number of people who download DCS for free and then fly only free "unofficial" mods. There are plenty of ways to protect your IP while allowing a few talented modders to continue developing and increasing the value of DCS. Microsoft as well as others do it all the time. It's actually beneficial to the company as a whole to do so.
  14. "If nothing else ED have alienated and annoyed a large number of there customers, especially by trashing 90% of third party mods and then the Razbam issues." Amen Brother!
  15. @Rudel_chw how do you easily launch 2.9.5? is there a way to do that?
  16. Sending out a poll to get a gauge on how the community feels about and flies "unofficial" mods.
  17. You can take off from the ground, but you can't adjust the flaps and the landing gear won't go up or down. It's not very much fun flying my favorite planes now! I wish they would get this fixed. But ED doesn't care about "unofficial" mods no matter how many of the community are flying them.
  18. So I guess the F-22 and F-15EX are dead?
  19. There is an authorization issue with Normandy now.
  20. The channel is most likely not deep enough.
