Hi I tried the DCS Track but it doesn't even show the NS 430 being resized hence the video. I just did as per the video, exited the mission and his svae track so unless I'm missing something. Also, my mission is set to 2016.

I've been doing some testing on this ... If I grab the top left of the NS 430 window and expand the size the cockpit becomes lighter, shrink the window and the screen becomes darker! BTW, something else - The NS 430 is not available in the Multi-threading beta of DCS. I have the NS 430 Navigation System for the L-39C but I do not have the NS 430 Navigation System part to run it. I bought the two parts seperately, if that makes a difference.

I was looking forward to giving the NS 430 a bash but I get the "NO GPS POSITION" message AND the cockpit goes dark! If I look down it brightens up and I can see everything, but look up and it goes dark. If I turn off the NS 430 all is well again. This is from a hot start with all power switches on. I tried it with a cold start and got the same thing.

FIXED! Here is what I did. I made a backup of my control settings - throttle, jopystick and rudder. I then set the controls for my throttle (this is where I have the binding for auto hover) back to the default controls. I tested the auto hover and it workedI I went back to controls and updated the controls using my backup I had taken earlier and it all works fine again!

BTW GrEaSeLiTeNiN - no, the R ALT HOLD and AUTO HOVER buttons were not lit! As I said Auto Hover was not working!

An issue with Auto Hover has recently occured on my Ka-50 III Black Shark. It has worked fine up until now, and I know how it works, but recently it has stopped working. I have tried the following ... Carried out a repair on DCS World beta Uninstalled the Ka-50 III module and deleted the MOD folder from the Eagle Dynamics parent folder. Rebooted my PC and reinstalled the Ka-50 III module and carried out a repair again on the beta. Created a new mission with two Ka-50 III - one hot start, one cold start. I noticed that after reinstalling the Ka-50 III the Auto Hover light came on momentarily when activated in the mission but went off almost immediately and has not functioned since. It makes no difference if I use the hot start or cold start versions. I can put the Ka-50 III into a hover manually and all functions of the auto pilot work correctly. I changed the binding on my Hotas and also the default keyboard key press but it made no difference. I changed the keyboard binding back to LALT-T I think I noticed that the auto hover stopped working after I had made changes to the INS Alignment in one of my existing missions via the mission editor. I changed the INS Alignment to 'Fully realistic' in the 'Realism panel' and 'Normal with Gyro' in the 'At Hot Start Panel'. I have since changed back to 'No alignment or fixtaking needed' to test the system but it makes no difference - the Auto Hover still refuses to work. This is infuriating, and although I can put the Ka-50 III into a hover for the missions it is infinitely easier with the Auto Hover button working. HELP! Thanks BTW ... I am on version 2.8.3.38080

Thanks guys. Schlomo19333 ... I'm absolutely sure route mode is switched off .This is something I have done hundreds of times in the past without any problems. It has only started screwing up over the past couple of days. I can bring it to a hover but when I hit the Auto-hoveI hold in the trim button while I bring the aircraft to a hover. This is so frustrating because as I said, it worked fine until a couple of days ago. I even went to the trouble of deleting the Ka-50 III and deleting the MOD file from the Eagle Dynamics directory and doing a complete new install. I'm going to create a new mission and do a cold start up and try that - although in most of my missions I have both a hot start and a cold start in case I'm too lazy to do a cold start

AAARGH!! I'm pulling my hair out here. Today I uninstalled the Ka-50 III using the uninstall tool from the Module Manager. After rebooting my PC I started DCS and had the option to reinstall the Ka-50 III. As far as I can tell, this would be a new install but maybe I'm missing something, maybe some of the old install is left behind and needs to be deleted? As it stands, my auto hover is still not working and it is very frustrating. If anyone else has experienced this it would be good to hear from you. Thanks

I'm having the same issue. I bring the helo to a perfect hover, engage Auto-hover and nothing! I have tried LALT+T and I have tried my key binding on my hotas. I changed the key binding and it still won't engage. I have waypoint in the PVI800 turned off. I have always used the autopilot buttons and I have always been able to use Auto-hover. It's only in the last couple of days it's stopped working. I even carried out a repair on DCS Openbeta. I'm getting to the point of disabling the Ka-50 III and reinstalling! Any ideas? BTW - I only fly my own missions so it isn't a server thing. Thanks guys.

F18mech ... My Stream Deck also stopped working after I put Voice Attack and Viacom on. Can you be a bit more specific regarding where you found th eissue with Stream Deck. Thanks

I have a Black Shark 3 in for service in one of my missions. Is there a way to have a Black Shark parked up with the service doors all open? It would be AI so I wouldn't have the LCtrl/W option. The Balck Shark could be static with the doors open but I think that's probably asking too much

Hi Guys I have a mission that allows me to go and attack a convoy, pretty much a training mission. I can fly either the Su-27T or the Ka-50 in the mission. There are a few twists en-route like the odd MANPADS popping up randomly. Just for a bit of eye candy I have a few things going on at the home airfield - Ka-50 helicopters going off on missions, guys jumping in and out of vehicles and transport helicopters, patrol vehicles etc. I have a bunch of guys embarking on a Mi-8MTV2 and they are heading out to the combat area and will form a later addition to the mission. The mission starts at 09:55 so everything happens all at once! That means all of the helicopeters start up and all take off all at once - very busy for a few minutes. I want to spread out when these things happen but here's the problem ... when I change the mission time for the various activities they do not spawn in at the mission start time of 09:55. Ideally they should all spawn in at mission start but not do anything for a specified delay - just a couple of minutes so everything is not happening all at once! This is probably a simple task but I am still suffering from the christmas brain fudd! Any help woul dbe appreciated. Many thanks

Hi Guys Just something else ... I had all sorts of problems trying to use Desired Track in autopilot. I could follow a route no problem in Desired Heading mode but Desired Track seemed to have a mind of it's own! It was only when I bound a switch to the option that I realised the problem. The switch in the Ka-50 is a three way switch ... Up is Desired Heading and down is Desired Track BUT it is a three way switch with a neutral position in the middle. If you click with the mouse just once on the switch you actually go from Desired Heading to the neautral position! Being a blind old git I hadn't noticed so it looked to me that I had changed the mode from one to the other. I spent hours trying to figure out why the ENR ROUTE light only came on while in Desired Heading mode! Okay, so it all seems obvious now, and many seasoned players are probably have a right laugh, but as a newbie I think it's nice to know these things so I hope it helps a fellow newbie. I have a few WWII missions and until now they have worked fine. I tried creating a new mission for the Bf-109 and despite setting the scenarion to WWII there are no German planes and the Third Reich is not listed. Germany is listed as a neutral country! Opening my previously created WII missions I have the same issue! I have run the repair utility but that didn't help. Any ideas? BTW - in the top right of the Mission Editor is says - Airplane Group 2016.

Hi Bailey I think you may be right. I spent hours last night going though the LUA files looking for specific inputs one at a time. Very long winded! I've compared the clickabledata.lua file to other profiles and it all looks pretty much the same. I would try the Ka-50 II but I don't have the profile unfortunately ... unless anyone can let me have a copy to try out? I thinkthat anyone having bought the Ka-50 III should should also have access to the earlier versions, if not just for something like this

Yo! I've just bought the Ka-50_3 and there is already a new DCS-ExportScript available for download that includes the Ka-50_3. I also replaced the old DCS Stream Deck profile and installed the latest. But here's the problem ... when I go into IL Lookupo in th eStream Deck the Ka-50_3 profile is in the drop down but the profile has nothing in it, i.e. no Device (ID) etc. I have plenty of other planes set up on the Stream Deck but the Ka-50_3 refuses to behave. Any ideas?
