Can confirm the above multi-crew desync problems, but it's really hard to provide a small track-file for it. The TADS (video feed) and FCR all gets de-synchronized in a multiplayer mission. BAM, created PF zones also jump to the current position of the helicopter in multicrew.

AH-64D_ATT_hold_test_Dec_25.trk Uploading a track again, where you can clearly see the issue: 1. Trim for stable flight. 2. Activate ATT hold and ALT hold. 3. SCAS ATT hold commands forward pitch (as to why you can see later). 4. ALT hold tries to compensate with additional collective. 5. This speeds up the nose down command of the SCAS. 6. The feedback loop drives you into the ground. Near the end of the track I deactivate the FMC and trim for stable flight. What happens is that you get an slight nose bob, up and down, for no reason (FM issue). That's what I meant for oscillation, not the oscillation on ATT hold activation-deactivation (refered to in the changelog). I believe the ATT hold tries to compensate for this pitch-up movement where the problem starts. edit: With the latest patch it's possible to deactivate only the Pitch channel. This makes the Hold functions actually useable (in cruise, not hover). Still I feel that the FM is the source of these problems.

DCS 2.9.11.4686 - 24.12.2024 The SCAS drift problem is still present, and so are the unexplainable pitch oscillations. The helicopter cannot be trimmed for stable flight and requires constant micromanagement.

I can confirm this bug. AIM-9P5 equipped only on pylons 8L and 2R, no sidewinder tone! With 4 equipped missiles the tone is there. 2 missiles on pylons 8R and 2L no issues.

Last time I experienced the issue was on Grayflag Marianas, from a normal slot. Weapons were also inaccurate from Afghanistan standard slot spawn.

Alright so I wasn't imagining things. For a long time now, GPS guided weapons cannot accurately hit their intended targets in multiplayer. GC alignment + HNS not helping. Are the devs aware of this problem?

ED support fixed it yesterday after opening ticket and it was working. Now it's gone again for no reason. Back to square one. dcs.log

Game crashes when joining cpg seat (multicrew)
papaz replied to Keyser1800's topic in Bugs and Problems
Can confirm. CPG joining mid-flight has a high chance of crashing the game, for the CPG at least. -
After patch 2.9.6.57650 the RTS rocker doesn't switch the active radio on SRS. One strange exception is, when Pilot changes radios, the CPG seat will transmit on the Pilot's selected radio, but not vice-versa.
-
After patch 2.9.6.57650 the C-Scope display is bugged. Only NTS icon appears, and the other icons are either invisible, or in incorrect places. Track attached. AH-64D_C-Scope_bug.trk

The bug is still present after patch. From our testing it's even worse than before, VHF DL wasn't working, despite doing the frequency change -> preset trick. Had to use FM1 DL.
-
Our group is having datalink issues too, since last patch (2.9.5.55918). From some testing, it seems that using the primary freq as Preset, DL works, while the other radios are unable to xmit. edit: this is with AI only, we're yet to confirm it in multiplayer. AH-64D_datalink_UHF.trk edit: Multiplayer test result: Nothing works out of the box, when spawning into a cold heli. The radio panel lies to you, even though it says you're on PRE1 L1 PRE3 L3 PRE4 L4 etc, the link is inop on all of them. To get the link to operate, you need to select another preset on your chosen radio. Alternatively, switch away-switch back to it. For example: FM1 from PRE3, switch to any other PRE, alternatively switch and then select PRE3 again from the list. This workaround can be used until it gets fixed.

Player controlled vehicles (directly, using Combines Arms module) are invisible to the FCR, after today's patch, while in multicrew CPG seat. 2024.05.22. 2.9.5.55300 After a player stops using a vehicle, it turns back to normal and are detectable again. Image track might also be bugged and not working on such a vehicle, needs some further testing. Will provide track later.

Much better in the latest OB (2.9.2.49629). Though the SAS pitch channel is still prone to drifting forward or backwards after a minute or so, just like when I first reported the issues.

Does the dev team know that the SCAS and the ATT hold are still broken? DCS 2.9.1.48111 Open Beta - 16.11.2023 It's a PID controller, which works in all other rotor modules.
-
After today's patch DCS 2.9.1.48111 Open Beta - 16.11.2023, turning the pilot body on and switching between the seats puts a low-res reflection on the pilot's gunsight. Track file attached. I also cannot use "9K113 Aiming Profile - ON/OFF", I can't look into the scope in the front-seat, though this problem only occured for me and not for others. edit: Unable to use the scope unless control is given to Petrovich, before patch you were able to fly and use the periscope at the same time. Jumping between seats also kicks down the rudder pedal damper switch. Mi-24_gunsight_reflection.trk

Thanks for taking a look at it. As others have said it here before, engaging the ALT hold at the same time will compensate by adding collective, for a while, after that it just breaks. Even with perfect stable flight trim (trim for speed) the problem is present. Strangely enough if you trim for maximum speed, the opposite drift will occur. (pitch up) I can provide more tracks if needed. Maybe not the same topic, but the basic flight model is the most unstable out of all rotorcraft modules, which probably makes troubleshooting the SCAS difficult.

Here's a track file. The attitude hold makes the pitch channel slowly drift forward, until it drives you to the ground, even if you're trimmed for stable flight. This mostly happens above 50% torque cruise. The faster you fly the quicker this behaviour manifests. AH-64_ATT_hold.trk
