Gotcha! My heart kinda stopped there for a bit when I saw that the older, I guess legacy style, of DAP ESSS wings weren't there. Are you by chance doing a stubby pylon in the new style ESSS wings that SOAR runs are you?

I just realized something after being out of the game for a couple of weeks. I put the new armed Blackhawk version on there. Did Android get rid of the stubby pylons for the DAP???

Alright...So, figured out what is was. I had a mod in the tech call Wolf. Opening it up it looks like it has some trucks in it. I'll attach a picture below. Obviously there is something in there that disagrees with the game and crashes it. I appreciate all the suggestions for figuring this out y'all!

Morning everyone! Once I did the .old to saved games it fired up. I'm about to start dropping in mods and missions I've created one at a time to see if I can figure out which mod messed with it.

Oh goody, that'll be fun Lol At least I kinda remember what was there before the crash and know which ones are stable. CH's mods we all know work and work great and a good chunk of others I have, we all have for the most part, and know they work great. Well, guess I'll get on that then...Yay...

Definitley thought I tried the .old thing already but I guess I skipped that during a bunch of other crap...So, that worked but obviously I don't have any off my missions or anything else associated with that folder. What in a mod would cause the game to not connect to the log in servers and crash the game? Would the best bet be to start dropping mods in one at a time until I find the problem child and then give that one the middle finger?

I'd try what you're talking about in game but my game doesn't even load right now so maybe someone can verify this for me...I'm assuming you need to right click on each of the PCL's once NG is on the rise to "click" the PCL into idle. I wouldn't try using the scroll wheel due to the fact you might go past idle. Try that and see what happens.

You could try with reading the start up manual or Googling the -10 for the bird. Can also try binding the PCLs to your throttle or keyboard.

Don't know if anyone is still reading this...Just updated to 2.9.20.15384 and I still can't get the game to load. Still has the same HTTP request failure error. Is anyone from ED able to see this and provide some guidance or a solution? Had zero issues until these 2 updates and don't even know where to start with HTTP request. Is there a way to go back in version of DCS?

No VPNs, never had one. Anyone know a good free VPN? No firewall changes that I have made. Windows 11 might have in the background, but I haven't I was unaware that multithreading is just part of DCS now versus having to go find it. So, I removed some files causing the sound errors, ran the none MT executable to start, and dropped all the firewalls and still the same thing. ASYNCNET request denied and logout failed.

I did on a topic I started but I'll still attach it. This log file is from this morning and the last time I tried to open her up. The game was working fine last weekend when I played before the update but this morning after the update, nada... dcs.log

I've renamed the mission editor folder to MissionEditor.old and my secondary shadows were already off and still no getting into DCS. Edit: I even removed the MissionEditor folder completely from my Saved Games folder. Still nothing...

So, 2 slow repairs, a fast repair, and a cleanup............And still nothing. Can't even get into the game.

I have the same thing going on right now. I get the main screen with log in and the MIG-29 ad playing. I click launch. Get the NVIDIA screen, the small DCS screen then nothing. I've tried a slow repair, fast repair, and renamed the mission editor files. Still nothing...

Just updated to the latest version this morning and now it won't even load. I get the main home screen with the MIG-29 on it. Hit launch. I get the NVIDIA splash screen and the DCS splash screen and then nothing. The LOG stops at ASYNCNET request for dcs logout failed. No clue what that means. I attached it down below...Any insight would be great. Thanks! dcs.log

The DAP versions DO have a swing down reticle. It's attached up in the greenhouse area where the hand hold is. I wish I had pictures of it still but the computer they were on; about 30 pics of a DAP while I was in Iraq; but that laptop was stolen I did Google it and attached a couple of photos that show the flip down reticle.

I know this is wicked old and don't know if the creator still tweaks this or not but either way I'll drop this anyway...Any chance of ditching the old M-60's from the CE windows and adding some modern weapons? Regular UH-60's run M-240H's SOAR runs M-134's Pedro runs M-134's and GAU-18's SOAR DAP's have the M230 on the #1 side/left/driver side pylon on the stubby ESSS I honestly have no idea what the Navy uses. I've never had any interaction with them before. I've only seen the Blackhawk, SOAR's aircraft, and the Pavehawk. Also, ditch the SOAR wings on the pilot doors and could the "UNITED STATES ARMY" be a light black like on their aircraft?

So my Shrike missing by like 100ft is a game issue not a setup or me issue?

Yeah, it's not the LUA. It's the folder with the textures in it for the Hook. I created a copy of that ZIP folder so whenever I update, I just have to copy and paste the file and I'm good to go.

I downloaded and installed the VSN F-35 mod but when I jump into it in the game, I have no cockpit, like at all...I know the F-35 is supposed to be able to "see through" the floor but I think this is pushing it a bit much.
