Oh yeah, they are definitely in range. On CH's site it lists close to 900 miles for range and I'm at about 100 miles from ships to target. I'm wanting it to be a triggered action when I cross a zone. Waypoints on these ships about a hundred miles apart. I tried switching one of the ships to the in game Burke class and still no joy. I'm going to try Attack Point next. I did forget to mention, I'm doing a Final Countdown type scenario here. Modern equipment that went back blah blah blah....At first I thought GPS due to the year but the GPS guided weapons on my Hornet are working just fine.

Happy Sunday everyone! So, I made a carrier strike group consisting of a Nimitz class, Tarawa class LHA, some Current Hill Arleigh Burkes and some Current Hill Ticonderoga class ships. I have the strike group set to attack some land targets since both the cruisers and destroyers are capable of taking them out. I'll insert pictures below to see how I have it setup. At the moment, it's set to a 10 sec timer to push the task just for testing. Once I know it works right, I'll set it to when my plane is in a zone and I'll move the zone further north. Problem is, they do nothing. I could be because they are CH mods and maybe the game doesn't like that. I'm going to try the in-game ships to see what happens. Any in sight would be helpful. Thanks!

That I also see. I like that idea. Granted, less fuel in that tank but the addition of an additional sensor usually outweighs that.

I'd like to be able to put the guns on them like they actually had. They don't even show on in the ME.

If I were to place a machine gun nest in the pre done bunkers that are all over the 2.0 map, will they go inside bunker or am I going to have to get tricky with all that to get them to actually be in the bunker?

Is there any way to look in the LUA or anywhere to see what aircraft can go in what parking spots? Take the Normandy 2.0 map. Maupertus Airfield has spot 07 towards the end of the runway. Would like to stick a Ju-88 there due to the spot having a good chunk of room for it but it says it can't go there. Yes, I know I could do park on ground but sometimes it's quicker to do take off from ramp and just increase unit size to fill parking spots.

And it's possible it was a conflict in my Saved Game. I'll probably do that tomorrow once all the modules are back in.

Yeah, before I uninstalled everything, I ran a full repair thinking that would work, as it usually does. When that did not work, that's when I went full ham on it and basically started over. I saved some things before deleting everything. I do have all my mods on one of my other SSD's as backups in case something like this happened. It's been months since I actually played DCS so I'm just glad to be back in it. Now, to design a random mission in WW2 Marianas with a modern carrier strike group and some F-18's...Why? Cause why not...LOL

The fresh install worked! I am in the Mission Editor on the WW2 Marianas map. At this point I will slowly start installing my mods, probably a couple at a time so I can keep track of them and test as I go. Then tonight I'll let all the modules install since that'll take hours to do...

I did a full repair prior to uninstalling everything and redownloading from the DCS site. I definitely didn't want to delete everything and start over but nothing else worked.

Ohhhh...Just hit the old Google for them. Interesting design. Definitely looks like an external tank with a turbine engine in it Lol

And by 10 mins I mean 6 hours for all the modules...I might just download a couple and let them download while I sleep tonight.

Yeah, I know. That's why I said I don't run a third-party AV, just MS Defender. Which I might have misquoted. I'm using the Windows Security which uses MS Defender as the AV portion of the security suite. I'm not seeing anything flagged in Security. I'm currently waiting for DCS to finish reinstalling. Still have 10 mins left...

I don't run any third party AV software, just Microsoft Defender. I'll get in there real quick.

I'm not even seeing a DCS.log. I'm seeing a dcs.log.old from today a dcs text document also from today. I'm assuming Saved Games/openbeta/logs? dcs.log dcs.log.old I'm also trying to uninstall DCS but it's also not letting me...I don't think this is an ME issue here...

Anyone ever had the ME not load? Regardless of what map I am trying to build a mission on or edit, it hangs at "Terrain Graphics Init : 96, *map name*.ng5" I'm on version 2.9.17.12034. I ran a build repair on it. No clue why it's hanging. It's not crashing the game or anything like that, just sticks at that loading spot.
