Oh yeah...I've done that before. Turn INS to GND ALIGN, then release the parking brake thinking that it's released and once I get that 0.5 OK I can just hit the gas and go...Yeah, no Lol

I think that's what it was. I was parked under a hanger/awning thing. WW2 style cloth and metal hanger. When cranking the jet, it didn't get any GPS signal, even though INS was off I'm sure it's still looking for a signal. When it didn't see one, POS/XXX being set on INS, it threw a warning saying I should switch to POS/ADC. I moved straight out to get LOS with the sky and it stopped beeping.

I did some digging on the Google. When I'm doing my INS align with stored heading, I am under a covered hanger. Might be blocking GPS signal. I'll trying taxing straight forward so I don't change my heading and try the INS align that way.

I've noticed that just recently the POS/ADC warning indicator on the left MFD is going in and out until the INS align is complete. Normally not a big deal however, it causes the audio warning to sound EVERY time it flashes the warning on the MFD. Very annoying. Anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

Seems like it. I've been having random issues with not only DCS but other software as well. Don't know what the hell is going on....If anyone knows why Corsair iCue is crashing all the time, I'm listening.

It says the whole map is available but only certain sections in high detail. So, I'm assuming they might be there now but might only be an airstrip versus what they actually look like. Definitely use the ole Google Earth or ask vets who have been to the FOBs to see what it actually looks like ED. I'll be very disappointed if FOBs don't look like what they are supposed to. Plenty of experts out there to ask for advice.

Does anyone have screen shots of either of these? I haven't gotten the Afghanistan map yet, on the short list, but curious as to what they look like in game. I did my 2 Afghanistan deployments at those locations. Would love to see them in game and see how close they are to the real thing.

About 3 mins after I posted this, I saw on Razbam/ED dispute post that they fixed the radar issue in a newer version of DCS. Apparently, I am about 8 versions behind...Updating now. Let's see what happens.

Same. My radar isn't working either. My radar is definitely in the ON position. Might be hard to see but the knob is ON and if you look even closer the little piper V for where the radar is sweeping is dead in the middle. My timing isn't that good with the sniping tool Lol The 2nd photo shows to SU-34's in my HUD. Nothing on the radar. No even working.

Again, I don't know how to use Discord. All I see are a bunch of replies and conversations. Don't know where to find links on it. I have ZERO idea on what I'm doing on it. I see his PDF and the LUA at the bottom, but it doesn't say where to put the LUA or what this MIST thing is.

How does one install this? I have it downloaded but don't know where to put the LUA or well, really anything...Never messed with scripting or stuff like that. Definitely need a For Dummies break down on how to make this work.

How do you download stuff from Discord? I thought Discord was a chat thing...I've also never used Discord either. That's really cool with the jamming script thing. How do you actually set it up in the mission editor to work? Where does the script go in the game files?

I have a mission here and no matter what option or command I have in the editor, they refuse to do anything. They just follow me and not bomb the target. There a certain command I need to give them to do that? IA-FA-18C-Syria-Bekaa Valley.miz

Pretty sure I know the answer here but is the EA-18G functional? Not talking about if I can fly it, I know I can. But, is it able to do the jamming are the ALQ pods "functional"?

I honestly have no idea. My mod is uninstalled right now due to conflict with 2.9.5. I'm giving you what I know from the actual bird from my time as a crewchief.

Swap the scripts, see if they appear on the other aircraft, use the long pod and see if that is invisible on the CFT Viper...I'll give that a shot!

So, when you hit TGT STR, target store, on the GPS it stores the grid coordinates. It starts at 99 and works it way down. It does this so it doesn't run the risk of overriding your flight plan. Gotcha. Yeah, that sounds like a bug. For good info, Google TM 1-1520-237-10. That is the operators manual for the Blackhawk. It is the A/L model -10. It's older, but released to the public. That'll help out and go over EVERYTHING you need to know, minus CMWS. That's not in there. Also, we never called it the ASN-128. We just called it the GPS

1. The Inc/Dec on the GPS or the collective? On the real bird, those last waypoints are used for target store if you're flying around and need to record the MFRS for later. 2. No. It's only 1 flight plan. Loaded via DTM or manually entered into the GPS. 3. It's analog only. On the "Mode Select" panel, you can choose which system to get the info from. GPS, VOR, ADF. 4. Don't know 5. Usually waypoint names are short, sweet and to the point. WP1, WP2, LZ, etc... 6. No. You have to "Plus Up" at each waypoint. Usually the pilot not on the controls does it.

I meant doesn't. Totally messed that one up Lol I haven't tried it on a regular UH-60, just the MH for the SOAR look. It's kinda key on all MH's minus the DAP.

Glad I found this thread. I updated to 2.9.5 for the F-4E and the game wouldn't launch past the splash screen. The UH-60L was the problem...Just have to wait for that to update now.
