I run a AM2 3800+ now, should i install windows xp 64 bit or the normal one? (does lomac have problems with it?) I can't seem to search properly in the forum.

Nice work Strikemax, modeling the whole fuselage out of one piece will greatly contribute to a beautiful model. Hehe i recognize those blueprints. Did i include all the pictures i have of the mig21 on my server, will look into that. But nice work man :)

S! It seems the MIG-21 still is quite popular :) . I hope someone can fix the improper canopy, the animations aren't the biggest hurdle.

I never fly with ECM's aswell, plus that i take-off from taxi-ways because a) i master it b) its useful when vulchers are above. I think the best way to correct a beginner is get on his six when he constantly locks you up and scare the shit out of him. If he fires you should be able to dodge his missiles plus its good training.

Hi :) . I can see why they want to maintain high standards for all new models. It is nice to hear that the mig21 will be much appreciated. I definately have a wish to continue this model but the coming 2 weeks i have to focus on my exams. I offered to upload the latest version so people can have a better look at the model and possibly (if they wish) work on parts that can be 'put in' easily. I lack the deeper understanding of all the different versions of the MiG and choosing a definite version will help in the process. Lastly i would like to stress that i received this great model from a fellow dutchman, i forgot his name but that can be found in the first post. I'm just modifying it so it fits into LO.

I can understand their position. There still are a lot of problems with the model itself. If someone wants to take a look at the .max file to spot problems i can upload it. Coming next two weeks i have to focus on my exams :( .

Strange that such a low level device like a monitor causes a freeze, never heard of such a case. Try to rule out factors, remove all cards but the necessary, change your screen with another monitor, etc.

if its not possible, it surely can be made possible. the following can be scipted and automated: 1-scan all ip's communicating on lomac server port ($client). 2-ping ip's of $client every x min and compute an average per value y. 3-deny access to $client for x min if computed average is above value z. I suck at scripting, but someone with experience can write a decent script in a few minutes. I dont know jack shit about flexible firewalls in windows but in linux this is a 1 2 3 job.

I agree to all the points you guys make. I was on TS with only 1 Russian dude, the only English sentence he said was 'i go for smoke', and he didn't understand me at all. People get the impression that guys speak fast on TS, that is not the case. But lets not forget the power of communication codes like winchester, bogey, rtb, angels, eta, etc (anyone know where is a list of these commands?). Keep your sentences simple, avoid difficult words and dont tell long sad jokes to a Russian. Pointing a beginner to a cheatsheet with these comm codes (i want one as well) should be law. I bought my hotas because its intended for hotas. Thats why i hate typing.

I seriously dont understand why most people fly a mission online for coop play without for example teamspeak. Its like driving a car with your eyes closed. And its not like im gonna laugh at you because your voice sounds nerdy either. Its easy to use and convenient, so dont be a type whore and improve your play via comms.

Hehe, thanks, i played 1.02 a long while ago but my god things have changed (in a good way). More stable, servers run decent, almost too good to be true :) . As a matter of fact my first carrier landing attempt worked, last cable but still :) . And the other big advantage is that i have my hands full with learning all the new things of FC so i don't have to 'wait' for BS :D
