It sounds like Matt is preparing the community for an announcement soon. Not saying this is definite, because ED has been bitten by putting "misleading" time frames out there, but IT APPEARS that something may be coming soon.

Honestly they don’t, but as SithSpawn mentionned this is WIP, I still have faith. That's your personal perspective and you're entitled to it. I think most agree that we are seeing great improvements overall. We have come a long way and I am enjoying what we have got and are getting.

Could it not go further than that as far as anyone running flight deck operation be able to shuffle the parking on the fly while in game? Not sure how things totally work on a carrier, but for example during recovery operations you set a portion of the carrier for parking and have a couple cats operational for launching as needed. Also consider if ED models a random failure of a cat, the flight deck operations can shift parking assignments as needed also. Ohhhh so many possibilities! :)

Can anyone explain the value of a pre-sale other than it allowing time for ED and/or 3rd party to polish whatever is needed to get it close to perfect? I say put it out there with the "regular" pricing and let them maximize their profits. The hardcore followers will get it regardless and those that are on the fence will likely get it during one of the many sales that ED has. :)
