  1. Really nice work there M8 in future it will be a pleasure for me to direct ppl who ask questions about mission setup to your site.
  2. Yes i left the X45 plugged in and tugged the stick away then i arased all settings for the stick in the options menu leaving only the settings for the throttle..... works perfectly.
  3. I was allso in a dilemma when i decided to replace my X45 and at the start i was really tempted to go for the Cougar because at that time the Cougar prices plunged about 50% making the CH stick more expensive then the complete Cougar HOTAS. So i browsed the forums and basicly found out exactly what this tread has shown so far: 1 : The Cougar is cheaper then the CH but ( if your unlucky ) not so reliable and, in the opinion of many Cougar owners, it first will be perfect when modded for aditional costs wich would make it ewen more expensive then the CH. 2 : The Cougar is made of metal with a spring on the base ( allmost like the X45 ) CH is made of Plastic composite with no spring on the base so i guessed it would be a really different feel to fly with it. 3 : CH costumer support would be exellent and for some reason not one of the Cougar owners ever expressed any doubt in that direction. In the end i decided to by the CH because i dont care if plastic or metal as long it works and im not good at electronics so smoldering small black, red and green wires on potmeters is just no job for my big butcher hands. It took a few weeks to really get used to this stick because as i expected it feels totally different compared to my old stick it is extremely precise and with minimal tension all the way to the gimbal limits :joystick: not like the old stick i had bolted on my desk so it wouldnt move when i armwrestled with . So now i got the CH fighterstick teamed up with my X45 Throttle and CH pro pedals and it works perfectly with my personal profile setup. :pilotfly:

  15. So let me try to sum this discussion up so far: F-15 jocks are upset ( to put it mildly ) because they more and more often get shot down by 27ETs and so far they dont have any idea how to deal with it. And suddently they find out that the ET is WAAAAY overmodelled and should be banned for lifetime ( or something like that ) :D . On the other side the guys flying the russian byrds say whats the fuzz ?? The ET is as it allways has been !!The only thing that has changed is the way the ET is beeing used now because someone found out that it can be used in a more creative way then just to be smacked up the tailpipe of someone you are lucky enough to have on your 12 oclock. I think noone wants the AMRAAM to suck because then the F-15 would be no serious adversary in fact i want the AMRAAM just the way it is right now. I allso think the 27ET is just like it should be ATM because it has allways been this way ... nothing has changed since 1.12 came out in that direction i guess. This new ET approach now forces the AMRAAM jockeys to rethink the tactics they have used for a loooong period of time and that seems to really pi## them off big time.
  16. Well i have a little trick, when im back on Tarmac/ Taxiway and the engines are turned off i just keep the canopy closed ... after 3 min. suddently the canopy is open and those invisible gnomes have repaired my plane :D
