:megalol::megalol: It's called Prestik around here. It's a sticky substance, not unlike bubblegum , but without the mess of course. Common use in South Africa to stick things to walls and such. Reason for it is I'm waiting for my Warthog to arrive and I'll mount that properly. I'll ask the wife to take some pics. The base is 20cm wide and there is ample space on the side for your legs to go past. It's pretty much exactly the width of my Saitek rudders so works perfect. The panels on the side, going forward needs some work since it's them my legs touch the most and cause some discomfort. You climb into the thing by standing on the chair and then sliding in, pretty much like the real thing :music_whistling: I use Thrustmaster MFD's

I built this over the weekend. Took me 2 hours and used $50 worth of material:) It's very much still WIP and I eagerly await my Warthog to mate it to 'the chair' as it's now called. Someone on another site commented that the first shot looked like a medieval torture device :megalol: The chair is not fixed to the main bench so I can move it to one side, slide in the comfy chair and work/play other things as well. I have now flown a few hours on it. mounted my Saitek X65 on it with Prestik. Also bought an extra keypad and uses that for the UFC numpad now. In the photo it's still mounted on the right console but I moved it to the left front panel next to the MFD last night and that works much better. Plenty work to do still.

I was testing my new cockpit chair and did this little video. In it I use markpoints to ripple fire (almost :music_whistling: ) two mavericks at two T52's. Then some low level stuff back to base. Does anyone know how to tell fraps not to record the second monitor?
-
How do you setup it in the ME then? As far as I could ascertain there was no 'begin loop' and 'end loop' actions anymore.

Current implementation of SF I believe is no client/drivers on your PC. You get 10 activations in total with each activation replenished after x months. So theoretically you will never run out unless it's installed by every tom dick and harry :D Pretty sure I read here somewhere that's how it now works.

It's called a spin and the A10 does it well. Pull nose up and let the speed drop below 140 and then kick full right rudder. She'll spin and you'll prob loose both engines from airflow disruption too. t least plenty of compressor stalls (watch the fan RPM gauges :) )

What will the source be of the two lights on the ground at the back? Just interested. It's not the strobe!

Why not just trying to install B3 over B2? I did that, with changes to options.lau for multi monitor support, and it worked flawlessly first time round. All I did before running B3 for the first time, after I installed it was to clear the temp folder.

In the J41, perhaps, in the DC10, very doubtful! Do not believe everything you hear in representations of these aircraft from PMDG and others. ;) In the Chieftain for example, an aircraft I fly regularly in RL gear extension is not very loud, and when done late in the approach (2 dots low on the ILS) when the speed is pretty much on Vref already the wind noise is not that drastic. In the C210 again in comparison, gear extension is very very loud. On the MD83 flights I've flown as self loading freight and sitting at the emergency exits over the wings, it was very very difficult to hear the gear going down. Flaps yes, gear, no. On the 732 again, gear extension is very prominent. Like someone already mentioned before, those sounds are most prob included in sim/games to make up for our lack of feedback you will get from being there for real. Like the 'click' when you drop a bomb for instance. Totally artificial I recon and not present in the DCS A10, or not my version at least.

You flying small stuff then right :music_whistling:

Reloading Artillery how to& reloading time - MLRS
RogueRunner replied to Duke49th's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
You prob need ammo trucks in the vicinity for reloading to work. -
Dragon, a trk please. This procedure works for me 100% dropping multiple JDAMS in one pass with all of them hitting the points I marked via the TGP.

I think what he means if you request something from the tower that anyone on the same freq will hear your virtual request on their side.

and press and HOLD the pickle button!!

I also get his now. HUGE freezes ranging from a second to several seconds sometimes. Last one only 'came out of it' after I crashed, so looks like things still happen while the freeze is happening.

Remember the editor shows kph, not knots. 250kph will be too slow for the tanker. 450kph will give you a 216-220knots speed for hookup. I could not get the tanker to connect though but almost certain it's finger trouble on my side. The boom will just go right through my aircraft. Going to give it a bash again tonight.

as per the real deal apparently.

DCS A-10C Warthog, Beta 02 Patch Available
RogueRunner replied to glenm's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
In controls/audio move the music slider to the right. :music_whistling: -
Cool, can't wait to try it tonight :D
-
Anyone tried it yet with B2? :music_whistling::music_whistling: Does it work now?:pilotfly:
-
That's how it's done in real life yes :D Maybe I was too far away when I did so initially, will try again tonight. Thanx for the help.

I requested T/O clearance before entering the runway. I did it again after entering thinking I was supposed to be on the runway when doing so (completely unrealistic though but I tried anyway) and the unable problem continued.
