  1. Could you explain 'type 1', 'type 2' and 'type 3'?
  2. Nothing new there. TM never talked in public about problems with their sticks, and face it, everyone thus far had some quirks!
  3. If I recall correctly if you choose the 'orbit' function, either racetrack or circle, the tanker will ignore speed settings given by you in the editor and would do the orbit at a set speed which, incidently, is faster than what the A10 can manage, ie bad idea to use for refuelling missions.
  4. It will not be something with a radar, almost certain of it. I read somewhere a dev mentioned that to simulate radar properly would require an almost complete rewrite of the code.
  5. Is this possible? If so, how?
  6. Correction, Z markpoints are special ones created each time you launch a weapon. I do not think you can use Z for something else.
  7. Bullseye is used for position reports relative to it, ie bogey, bullseye 180, 60 means there is a unknown aircraft 60nm south from bulldeye. Everyone can then place him more or less accurately. Same goes for friendly pos reports since if some does manage to listen in on freq they will have no idea what the actual position of the aircraft is.
  8. It's nice but too expensive for me thanx.
  9. POC Maybe one day then.
  10. Big Ugly flying f&^%r
  11. That too maybe. You do need a pitot tube somewhere on the aircraft too. So far in my experience, when there is damage to my right wing I loose speed indication on the steam gauges. Can anyone confirm the location of the pitot tube on the real jet? Cali?
  12. I know a guy who dumped his gf when she interfered with his game time. :D
  13. Seen it plenty. The pitot tube is somewhere on the right wing it seems since whenever I lost half that wing or took severe damage there the analog instrument will goto zero.
  14. The AoA indicator should still work, just reduce speed till you get a circle on the indexer. If that is also not working then seat of your pants will have to do. Runways are pretty long so stopping in time should not be a problem.
  15. I did exactly that. Reason, I missed the moving stick. I think the X65F is a great stick, i just had this annoying habit of resting my flying hand on the base in straight and level and on this stick it would cause a roll input. Cannot fault the stick otherwise. Still have it also, cannot get myself so far to sell it.
  16. How many buttons do you get with the CH MFC? $190 is pricey! :( but prob a good quickfix for a cockpit builder.
  17. what will you use to send the keypress to DCS?
  18. That easy huh? Could you explain the mechanics behind it? Normal grid coord is 10 digits and this was 5. Just interested.
  19. I'm still having issues with coordinates I get from JTAC. The simple mission I setup to test it only gives me GF30880 as a grid ref. When I try to enter that I get a CDU INPUT ERROR. Please help! Mission file attached. aa.miz
  20. Ordering, thanx
  21. Going to give it a bash this afternoon. Thanx
  22. Can you ship to South Africa? It's not selectable in the country list.
