$131.00 to North Carolina. Order total $930.65. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I didn’t see where there was listed a quantity left. If 47 is accurate, I’m glad I put my order in. Looks like PayPal won’t charge my card until the item ships. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Decided to jump for this. Order went through via PayPal. Hopefully it’ll come before my knee surgery in September! [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

PointCTRL - Finger Mounted VR Controller

There’s only one instance I can think of... the FCS bit on the Hornet. I have a HOTAS switch set for that right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- 3421 replies

Finger Lifts for other aircraft?
RogueSqdn replied to RogueSqdn's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I’m running that new one already, Sokol. I wish it would operate more like the internal one where you only have to hold it when moving. The options now are on, off, or toggle. I’m using toggle so I don’t have to hold the button down. -
Finger Lifts for other aircraft?
RogueSqdn replied to RogueSqdn's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I still think this would be a good option for all DCS aircraft due to all the different throttle options out there... But Virpil has put out a new firmware today that lets you limit the travel (forward and back) of your throttle axes, and turn off the limit by either holding a button, releasing a button, or using a button as a toggle. https://forum.virpil.com/index.php?/topic/706-finger-lifts-in-software/ -
New F-16 grip from Realsimulator
RogueSqdn replied to Icebeat's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
You may be correct. That said, I think they're stating that you can use the Z function of a switch as a shift for that switch. -
New F-16 grip from Realsimulator
RogueSqdn replied to Icebeat's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
A LOT more buttons. There's a total of 64 on this grip compared to 23 on the WH grip (if you count the POV). -
I posted on this subject at the Virpil forums, but I thought it would be appropriate here on a different side of the coin... So with that said, are there any plans to add finger lift commands to other aircraft in the sim directly? While it may not be strictly realistic for certain aircraft, I feel it's a necessary concession along the lines of the "Realistic TDC" option on the Hornet.

Just ordered new VPC throttle, F-14 grip and TM F/A-18 grip. This one’s going to have to wait a few months. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I’ll try to provide more details later, but I saw a note in another thread about disabling Hyperthreading. I tried it last night and I’m no longer locked around 40FPS. If it’s low activity or I’m not over a city, I get 80. Over Dubai I got a solid 40 with only one short dip to 27. More experimenting to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hollywood, I looked on your site and in the first post... do you have a change log available? I ask because after having to reinstall Windows this week (to get 1903 working nice with vJoy) I just this morning finished setting up VAICOM (and had to redo all my A/C specific profiles). Seeing this got me wondering if you were still working on a new PTT solution or had released one, since you mentioned it earlier. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

VAICOM PRO plugin for VoiceAttack I appreciate that.. would make my setup a lot simpler! [emoji41] I really just appreciate your responsiveness. I do agree that a sub-forum is probably warranted, but I worry about your ability to respond if you have to monitor multiple threads! [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

VAICOM PRO plugin for VoiceAttack The Hornet and Harrier have the same setup but depending on one’s controllers different PTTs might be warranted. (Two radios each) The F-14 has two radios, an ICS (which I for one prefer instead of hot mic), and a fourth switch that activates both radios. Huey and F-5 have a single PTT. The A-10C has three. Being FC3 level, the A-10A and F-15C have just one, but in reality (and I try to keep my HOTAS as close as I can) the A-10A has three and the F-15C two. Those are all the aircraft I have and can speak for. The A-10A and C are the only two that I map PTT the same way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve had to create separate VA profiles based on the main VAICOM one for that reason. It works, but makes updating your keywords a pain in the ass. I’d like a better solution too. [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are you suggesting that the VR view that shows up on your main monitor when using VR can be turned off and gain you FPS? If so, I’d definitely like to know if that can be done with a Rift. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ll have to check that out. I tried bumping stuff way up and had no FPS drop. Can’t give more details right now, but put many on high (except MSAA, FSAA, and blurring) and still ran around 40 FPS, even over Dubai. I’ll try to give a little more detail tomorrow afternoon. I’ve verified with Oculus Debug Tool that ASW is off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I will write something up for the results thread, but here's what I found after a bit of testing. Disabling vsync seems to have had an effect. While I'm still seemingly locked at 40 fps, if I look up into the sky, fps goes to 80. It still seems stuck at 40 when terrain is visible. ALT tabbing to Oculus to turn off ASW doesn't make a difference. Setting are the VR preset, but with trees visibility at max, preload at max, and visible range at high (I REALLY don't like trees popping up out of nowhere).

I should say I’ve also tried LCTL. I’m getting Oculus beta updates so uncertain of version right now but will check when I get home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
No effect. I already have it disabled there but DCS seems to ignore it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

With the thought of keeping non-result posts relevant... How, other than RCTL KP1? I’ve tried it and noticed no FPS difference, only a small reduction in stuttering. 40 FPS in both tests on Rift S, i7-3930k @3.2Ghz, 1080ti Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good luck. The dev says he’s done and isn’t updating it. Will take someone to build it and sign it before it can be updated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
