  1. The bottom of the page should also have an order completed message. [emoji2369] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. I got an instant email just now. Thanks for the hard work, Miles! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. I have to give ED credit here, and I didn't realize it until just now. There is now a CLEAR ALL button in the GUI. KUDOS! Thank you, ED Team!
  4. It is decidedly NOT nothing. I have twelve USB HIDs connected at once. I own all DCS modules. Just counting the full fidelity ones and not counting game mode (and adding the A-4E), that is FORTY-EIGHT options in the dropdown menu. Doing this 576 times takes hours, and that's just to clear everything out. Then if a controller's GUID changes for any reason, you have to go back and do that controller again. At the very least, each module should have an option to clear all controllers (other than keyboard) with one mouse click.
  5. To your first question, yes, but if your FCU lights are on and in the FOV of the HMS while you’re trying to move the mouse they will interfere with each other. The timeout setting of the FCUs can be adjusted though. If the FCUs are timed out, that means the LED turns off to save battery and the HMS won’t see it, hence there will be no interference when trying to use your mouse. Your second question would have to be answered by Miles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  6. I only have this happen to the FC3 planes and usually only to the kneeboard. After I got them set the way I wanted, I marked them as read only.
  7. I don’t know, Miles would have to answer that. My instinct is that if you put a filter in front of the HMS, it wouldn’t be able to see the FCUs either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Yes, it could very well be a problem. Depending on the angle the sun comes in, blinds may not be enough (they are for me). A curtain could be necessary. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. Winwing’s throttle is the best choice. For the stick, the best option is Realsimulator’s F18CGRH paired with a Virpil T-50CM2 base and 200 mm extension. Notice I said best, not cheapest. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. Looking forward to it, Miles! PMed you on Discord. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. Interesting problem I'm having... with the newest OpenBeta, DCS is crashing when I use the dictate commands. dcs.log dcs.log-20210131-001240.zip
  12. I found your knobs on Thingiverse this morning. Thanks! They work on my Winwing panel, printed in PLA from an Ender3. I do have to drill them out to get them to fit over the switch handles though. I really wanted this to help identify switches when in VR. I plan on mapping everything but the lighting knobs and the ground power panel as close to the real cockpit as possible. That said, do you have a plain rounded handle similar to a switch without a handle? I ask so that there could be a 3d printed handle on every switch, even those that wouldn't feel much difference in shape. At least that way I could have the same physical material feel on every switch.
  13. I don't know if there's a thread for this, but I found this on Thingiverse this morning and have already printed six switch handles for my Winwing panel. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4578241
  14. I tried that about a year ago and found it to be more trouble than it’s worth. YMMV Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. I've come up with the following modification to add a move to the F1 position. The offsets are set for my G2 as listed above. Button names are for my vJoy setup. My changes are in red.
  16. I'm starting to test this out, and it moves the mouse cursor... but my question is this: Is there a way to ensure either that when you first press a button, it goes to the F1 option, or two, to set a separate button to move the cursor to the F1 button? Now to start tweaking the start position. I use a Reverb G2 with DCS set to 0.8 PD and SteamVR set to 150% (2748x2680).
  17. Sounds interesting for when VAICOM isn’t working right or I get tired of it. I used to use DCS Menu Nav, so I’ll definitely take a look at this.
  18. If you just delete the folder it’ll still read the defaults from the install folder, will it not? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. When you have 12 controllers connected and own all modules, it's very very tedious to clear all the settings for every controller and every module. Can we look at getting a button in the config screen to clear every controller (individually for each module)? That way, we can start from scratch, and if we want to restore a controller to default settings, we still have that option.
  20. I actually started looking at slot covers this morning, coincidentally. The cables on the floor aren’t secured at all, just hidden. Ordering straight from 8020 seems the most cost effective so far but I’m going to look around a bit more. I also need the make an educated guess on the amount needed. 21. I haven't flown that campaign yet (been playing DCS Liberation), but my visibility test is the Ground Attack Practice mission for the Hornet in Syria. Shortly after the mission starts, four Vipers take off from Incirlik. I've been able to pick them up at 17 miles. I think I've got my visibility good. But I'm convinced that the Syria map badly needs optimization, because it seems no matter what area I'm flying over, FPS is around 20 less than the other maps. I may just start a Liberation campaign in another theater instead. That Ground Attack Practice mission starts out at around 55 fps, for example.
  22. I don't think the shadows mod has anything to do with it. Probably a combination of AF and visibility distance (I usually fly with Ultra).
  23. I decided to try out your settings and they do seem to help, but aircraft spotting seems to have suffered a bit. I used to fly with the smeared labels mod, dot only, but since getting the new system and the G2, I've been trying to fly with no labels and doing fairly well at it. I wonder if it has anything to do with your shadows mod... I'll try turning that off.
  24. Are you sure this is right? There is no folder called Image Execution Options, but there IS one called Image File Execution Options.
