  1. Moving cockpit seat position up/down/left/right/forward/aft, ejection, briefing, FPS counter, and scratchpad mod. Both are programmed exactly the same, so I can keep one hand on a stick or throttle and still make adjustments with the keypad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. Works on a MTX cockpit Warthog mount as well.
  3. I intend to use at least one of them as a modifier in DCS so that when I hit buttons on my stick grip, they perform a different function. From Chuck's guide:
  4. I've never flown it, but I'm guessing it has something to do with using this throttle on the JF-17. The realism departure that I DO like is the two push buttons on the underside. It gives me something to use as a shift button.
  5. Thanks. Regarding the ANT ELEV knob, I wanted to make sure it was an axis with a beginning and end of travel and a center detent, and not an encoder like what they've done with MAN RNG. I'm on my probably fourth or fifth Cougar throttle (this one has Cubpilot's HS upgrade, the DeltaSim slew, and Ian's SPDB/DGFT aluminum housings), and had the F-16 TQS years before that. I've had and currently have other throttles, but the F-16 will always be my favorite.
  6. Thanks for responding, but I have one other questions first, the detents. I know the Orion base has its own detents, but this now has the F-16 throttle rail. Is the rail aligned with the base's detents, or do you get a feeling of hitting detents twice? Not having any experience with the Orion base, I don't know if you can disable the built-in detents. Second, the ANT ELEV is indeed an axis with center detent, correct?
  7. According to tracking, mine has left Shanghai. Hoping to see it mid-week. Congrats! Is the Range "knob" just an encoder? If so, I imagine SimAppPro can probably make it act as an axis.
  8. You could use PointCTRL for them but remember that DCS will have two cursors when a radio menu is open and you’ll have to use the white dot cursor for radios. I’d instead recommend VAICOM PRO and Voiceattack for your comms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. There's a mod out there that lets you save your edits in the Saved Games folder and applies them as DCS is launched. You no longer have to edit LUAs after every update.
  10. Trying to apply CMS, and it's trying to make my BI on chaff 41 instead of BQ 4 and BI 1.0. Increasing command delay doesn't seem to help.
  11. Edge won't even let you download it. I was able to download with Firefox, but still had to tell Windows Defender to allow it. I just finished recreating my profile and hope to get a test flight in later tonight.
  12. I don't have my Winwing throttle installed right now (just flying the Viper), but I'll definitely give the LUA edit a shot!
  13. The only way I can think of to do it is in software. Use Joystick Gremlin (which I don't use anymore) to set off a macro when the actual switch is moved. Set the macro to execute two different vJoy buttons (or keystrokes, your preference) when the switch is each position. You can then map those vJoy buttons to open the guard then move the switch, and for returning the switch, to move the switch back and after that, close the guard. You'd have to setup two separate macros for this. I've done this with my Winwing throttle before.
  14. Thanks… I worked nine years doing cable/sat installs. Thank God I’m not doing it anymore! [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Looks great, and makes me wonder if I should've gone with a black cockpit! I still think I'd obsess over scratches, though. Here's a couple of shots of the current state of the cockpit: The ICP is from TekCreations, and I also have the TotalControls MFBB mounted on the right side. In order to get in and out, I have to loosen the MFD/ICP post and lean it back, and tighten it back down when I sit down.
  16. Good Lord. I have the FSSB R3L, the F16SGRH CE, the F18CGRH, and the TUSBA R2. I LOVE RealSimulator's products, and haven't been shy about supporting them in the past, or throwing down money to do it. Shipping being added brings the price to $2051.34. I think this might be a bridge too far, even for me. It doesn't help that I just got my new 2021 Ford Bronco on Friday, and will have to be able to afford add-ons (and GAS) for it. Maybe when tax returns come around, but I can't do this right now with a good conscience.
  17. If you’ve got the budget to buy new, go Falcon Northwest.
  18. Will be a day one purchase for me.
  19. I figured out the problem last night. I was using an older version of HomeFries' Logbook improvements mod (to add USN ranks and make US Navy an available faction). Updating to the newest version of the mod fixed the problem.
  20. I can’t get 5.0.0 to work. When loading the mission in the editor, DCS always locks up when loading the (theater).ng5 file. Anyone else have this issue?
  21. That’s included when you purchase a PC from Falcon Northwest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  22. Just FYI then… I still had problems at 200ms. I set it to 300 and had no problems. I’ll try to zero in on something when I have a chance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. I guess it depends on whether I can deal with it when it comes. If not I can always remount the Winwing Super Taurus to the cockpit. I haven’t flown the Hornet in months, though. I’ve been on a Viper kick. I installed the DeltaSim cursor in my throttle, which already had Cubpilot’s hall sensor mod, corrected switch housings, PTFE tape on the inside, and a TUSBA R2.
