  1. So, three months after ordering the cockpit and four months after ordering the chair, I now have my new MTS/MPS rig. Due to a lot of OT at work this past week, it's taken me a week to tear down the old cockpit and assemble the new one. Here's a few pictures I took along the way. I should note that I ordered the MTS Desk but have not yet received the keyboard tray and sliders, but should have them in the next few days. nullnull nullnull
  2. You can probably just ask Miles on Discord or email orders@pointctrl.com
  3. Yes. Your HMS should have two plugs at the rear that the six buttons plug into.
  4. I do something similar in single player in VR. I have a small keypad that has the info bar keystroke programmed into it. I'll bring up the time page and set my time based on the info bar, clicking the ICP with PointCTRL.
  5. Thanks. MSRP, actually. Got my reservation in two hours after the announcement last year. Those two hours were spent hitting refresh every five seconds white the website was crashing.
  6. I waited 16 months for my Bronco... a year for PointCTRL considering the size of his operation should be easy-peasy in comparison. I promise you that PointCTRL will change everything for you.
  7. Don’t know how long the current wait is, but you should get PointCTRL. With it, all you really need is your HOTAS and VR headset.
  8. I've just gotten around to trying this, and I moved the F1-F12 comms input commands to the common files, and can't get them to show in DCS. What EXACT location should the common binding lua files go?
  9. I didn’t have time to fly it in VR yesterday, only time to set up control axes and cyclic bindings. I’ll have to get the rest going over the weekend. I also had to spend a few hours figuring out mounting the Virpil collective. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. Agree on the keyboard binding! [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. Will have to give it a shot sometime. Right now I’m in the middle of a Caucasus campaign in Liberation, flying the Viper out of Lochini. I don’t think I’ve flown anything else for several months. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. I keep my old v1 FCUs charged for that very reason. [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. Also be wary of any lights above your setup. I have a ceiling fan right above my cockpit and only have bulbs on in the two lights pointed the other way. They’re also low wattage LEDs for a softer light. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. Big thing is you can keep you right hand on the stick and use your left for switches at the same time. [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Enjoy it! I'll change everything for you.
  16. Moving cockpit seat position up/down/left/right/forward/aft, ejection, briefing, FPS counter, and scratchpad mod. Both are programmed exactly the same, so I can keep one hand on a stick or throttle and still make adjustments with the keypad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. Works on a MTX cockpit Warthog mount as well.
  18. I intend to use at least one of them as a modifier in DCS so that when I hit buttons on my stick grip, they perform a different function. From Chuck's guide:
  19. I've never flown it, but I'm guessing it has something to do with using this throttle on the JF-17. The realism departure that I DO like is the two push buttons on the underside. It gives me something to use as a shift button.
  20. Thanks. Regarding the ANT ELEV knob, I wanted to make sure it was an axis with a beginning and end of travel and a center detent, and not an encoder like what they've done with MAN RNG. I'm on my probably fourth or fifth Cougar throttle (this one has Cubpilot's HS upgrade, the DeltaSim slew, and Ian's SPDB/DGFT aluminum housings), and had the F-16 TQS years before that. I've had and currently have other throttles, but the F-16 will always be my favorite.
  21. Thanks for responding, but I have one other questions first, the detents. I know the Orion base has its own detents, but this now has the F-16 throttle rail. Is the rail aligned with the base's detents, or do you get a feeling of hitting detents twice? Not having any experience with the Orion base, I don't know if you can disable the built-in detents. Second, the ANT ELEV is indeed an axis with center detent, correct?
  22. According to tracking, mine has left Shanghai. Hoping to see it mid-week. Congrats! Is the Range "knob" just an encoder? If so, I imagine SimAppPro can probably make it act as an axis.
  23. You could use PointCTRL for them but remember that DCS will have two cursors when a radio menu is open and you’ll have to use the white dot cursor for radios. I’d instead recommend VAICOM PRO and Voiceattack for your comms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
