I suppose you could always find a different adapter plate. I used a jigsaw and a metal cutting blade on them, it was fairly easy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I got these, made by Bestop. Not cheap, but very sturdy. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002SA244/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Because of the built in bolts on these sliders, I also used these adapter plates to fit the seat on the cockpit (I cut them at the corner because I didn't need the right-angle). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0774LBPQ2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

For now, I’ve created previous and next tab joystick binds in VAICOM, but would prefer for the voice commands to work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Looks like you’ll probably beat me by about a week. FalconNW got my 5950x today. The rest of the system was already built, so with 3 days of testing, it should be shipped out early next week. Since it has to cross the whole country by ground, I’ll be lucky to get it a week from now. More likely a week from Monday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Thanks, I’ll give it a try after work. I came up with a better way of controlling different PTTs for multiple aircraft last night, but I’ll create a thread for that later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Mine was ordered on August 6th. No notice yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Mower, I have a Razer Blackshark v2 but haven’t tried it with my Rift S. I’ll try it this afternoon and get back to you (it’s 5 am here in North Carolina and I start my workday at 6). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Not specific enough, unfortunately. AWACS works. Saying "ATC" or "Tower" or "Reference" doesn't.
-
Ok, I see that, but what I meant was what we have to say for each tab. After adding an alias I got JTAC to work (as “JAY TACK”), but can’t get ATC, AOCS, or REF to work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Is there a list of the commands to use to bring up the various tabs? Saying "AWACS," "Notes," and "Flight" work, but Noe of the other tabs come up, and I don't see anything specific in the manual.

I work in an FAA repair station and got a few good chuckles from our engineers with that one... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

You’ll likely need to do into device manager and choose properties for each USB device you have, click the power tab, and deselect “allow device to shut off to save power.” I probably don’t have the exact terminology right because I’m doing this from memory, but that’s the gist. Just FYI, my original FSSB R3 lasted for nearly 7 years until it only died because I spilt lemonade on it. I ordered an R3L at the same time as the F16SGRH CE back in January. FWIW, I never had a support problem with them. I had to send my original FSSB R3 back in because I broke the USB connector, and received it back with no problem.

I appreciate your trying to toe the line here while still trying to inform us. However, I think I’ll stick with 3090. I’ve waited long enough, and can’t keep chasing the next thing. However, when tax time comes around, if 6900xt has proven to be a lot better, I may consider picking one up. I’ll just have to weight cost/benefits at that time. That’s the thing... I’m waiting to here why I should consider waiting an extra month for my new system, and I haven’t seen one yet. I waited all year for 3090 with the money saved. I then decided to wait one more month for 5950x. The 24GB of video RAM versus 16GB has to be a VR advantage for 3090. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

If I was getting a 3080 I’d consider the Radeons. But I haven’t seen anything other than price difference to make me switch from 3090FE, and price is not enough for me to switch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Which is why I will likely stick with 3090FE with 5950x rather than switch to 6800xt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Looks to have been the zoom setting in Edge, apparently. It was at 400%, only for this page, and I had not ever touched that. I zoomed back out to 100% with CTL -, and while it still looks a little odd, I can at least read it now.

I opened the forum up today in MS Edge (chromium) on my PC, and I'm stuck with the mobile page. I have not changed anything on my PC.

Will be running as high as I can get it on my new system, which should be here around the same time as the G2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

DiCE: DCS Integrated Countermeasure Editor by Bailey (v6 MAY2023)

Silly me, I was looking at the DICE optionsDB.lua and scratching my head. Doing this in Notepad++ will be a lot easier and less tedious than doing it in the DCS options menu. -

That was it... I saw a note about admin privileges and it clicked. It doesn't crash, but I'm not getting any updates to my programs. Does DCS still need to run as admin? I know the CMDS programs are stored in the install folder... I don't know if putting your programs in Saved Games works. EDIT: Tried running DCS as admin and it works. My only other question is this: Is there an easy way to copy over edits I'd already made prior to installing DICE, so it recognizes them? Thanks! -
