  1. Depth doesn’t matter with PointCTRL, you can extend your hand as far as it’s comfortable. There are no virtual hands, just the mouse cursor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. Got mine the other day but didn’t get to really use it until last night and this afternoon. The fit and feel of the FCUs are noticeably better. The right one doesn’t bump into my RS Hornet grip nearly as much as the original... I can wear it a lot straighter on my finger. The buttons themselves have a more satisfying click. The FOV of the HMS is wider, so you’ll get two effects. One, you can point a greater distance from center. Two, you may have a greater potential for IR interference. I had to get softer LED light bulbs for the ceiling fan right above my cockpit. The charging experience is much nicer as well, especially with the magnetic chargers. The FCU led turns blue when charging and goes out when charged. I think anyone who had v1 and is upgrading will be happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. I believe I've tracked this problem down, and I don't think it's a DCS issue. A few weeks ago, I got the Razer Huntsman v2 Analog keyboard. That was around the same time I started having this FPS counter issue. I disconnected the board and hooked up an older Razer Keyboard, the Blackwidow v3 Pro, and no longer have the problem. Looks like Razer needs to work on their firmware, at least in regards to the PAUSE key. The Huntsman v2's mute light doesn't work either. EDIT: I still can't map it to a joystick button, but the keystroke works now. There must be some DCS issue picking up this command when mapped to a joystick button.
  4. LCTL PAUSE unfortunately won’t work either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. I have tried that and it does not work. I should clarify that it will work as a voice attack command but only once I’m in flight. It will not work in the UI.
  6. Controls screen still says RCTL. It won’t even work if I program it to a joystick button. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. Within the past week or so, the RCTL PAUSE keystroke for the frame rate counter is no longer working.
  8. The PayPal request will just get sent to whatever email address you provide on the preorder form. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. I had the mod working and got my controllers configured, but the next time I loaded things up, I have no mouse cursor in the cockpit. I've tried the LALT C keystroke and it doesn't help. Does anyone have any ideas? EDIT: Don't know what the cause was, but uninstalling then reinstalling the mod seems to do the trick. I'm using OVGME.
  10. The bottom of the page should also have an order completed message. [emoji2369] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. I got an instant email just now. Thanks for the hard work, Miles! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. I have to give ED credit here, and I didn't realize it until just now. There is now a CLEAR ALL button in the GUI. KUDOS! Thank you, ED Team!
  13. It is decidedly NOT nothing. I have twelve USB HIDs connected at once. I own all DCS modules. Just counting the full fidelity ones and not counting game mode (and adding the A-4E), that is FORTY-EIGHT options in the dropdown menu. Doing this 576 times takes hours, and that's just to clear everything out. Then if a controller's GUID changes for any reason, you have to go back and do that controller again. At the very least, each module should have an option to clear all controllers (other than keyboard) with one mouse click.
  14. To your first question, yes, but if your FCU lights are on and in the FOV of the HMS while you’re trying to move the mouse they will interfere with each other. The timeout setting of the FCUs can be adjusted though. If the FCUs are timed out, that means the LED turns off to save battery and the HMS won’t see it, hence there will be no interference when trying to use your mouse. Your second question would have to be answered by Miles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. I only have this happen to the FC3 planes and usually only to the kneeboard. After I got them set the way I wanted, I marked them as read only.
  16. I don’t know, Miles would have to answer that. My instinct is that if you put a filter in front of the HMS, it wouldn’t be able to see the FCUs either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. Yes, it could very well be a problem. Depending on the angle the sun comes in, blinds may not be enough (they are for me). A curtain could be necessary. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. Winwing’s throttle is the best choice. For the stick, the best option is Realsimulator’s F18CGRH paired with a Virpil T-50CM2 base and 200 mm extension. Notice I said best, not cheapest. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. Interesting problem I'm having... with the newest OpenBeta, DCS is crashing when I use the dictate commands. dcs.log dcs.log-20210131-001240.zip
  20. I found your knobs on Thingiverse this morning. Thanks! They work on my Winwing panel, printed in PLA from an Ender3. I do have to drill them out to get them to fit over the switch handles though. I really wanted this to help identify switches when in VR. I plan on mapping everything but the lighting knobs and the ground power panel as close to the real cockpit as possible. That said, do you have a plain rounded handle similar to a switch without a handle? I ask so that there could be a 3d printed handle on every switch, even those that wouldn't feel much difference in shape. At least that way I could have the same physical material feel on every switch.
  21. I don't know if there's a thread for this, but I found this on Thingiverse this morning and have already printed six switch handles for my Winwing panel. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4578241
  22. I tried that about a year ago and found it to be more trouble than it’s worth. YMMV Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. I've come up with the following modification to add a move to the F1 position. The offsets are set for my G2 as listed above. Button names are for my vJoy setup. My changes are in red.
