I dont understand. Can you launch to a HAWK or not? on the AN_ALR_SymbolsBase.lua file is says {Hawk_TR_ANMPQ_46, "HK"}, and I tested from 100 to 130 on de DED HARM menu and never got a "HK" simbol. EDIT: Nevermind https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4497932&postcount=4

I think exactly the oposit. I rather have a bad bow with an arrow than a good bow with no arrow at all. There's no logic being fundamental on any of both vews, but at least give me the harm and mavericks.

In my case, I wanted to drop the bomb before the ccrp, so I tried to use the "manual" mode but it seems that it is not working at the moment. But maybee that is what you are looking for.

ohh.. I see.. didn't do much buddy lasing with the A-10C to figure that out. So it seems that is like the GBU-24 bug.. :(

When dropping a GBU on multiplayer I see my bomb impact on target but other player sees it as it didn't track at all. Similar problem when doing budy lasing.

Manual mode is not working for me. Master arm is off and I'm holding the trigger. It appears on the hud as the selected mode but no release is possible.

Does it work? Because bombs doesn't droop when you are on that mode.

If I make a mission without steeprpoints, and I start the aircraft and insert a steeprpoints via the STPT menu, does this work? Because nothing happens after I insert that steerpoint.

In my opinion the pilot should at leas makes some breathing noise or something just to tell as that he is under stress. Anything that tell us as computer chair pilots that the simulated pilot is under g's... Maybe a breathing sound that starts at 4G's like the Mig-29t. That would'n be unrealistic... now, watching the G needle on a dogfight... I doubt that that is a realistic procedure.

If you are flying low on the mountains, and I shoot from 10K or 20K feets above you, the missile will come through the roof, mountains will not be obstacles. I've got 3 complains about missiles though mountains on multiplayer, saying that the missile is bugged, and all those times iv'e seen them hiding through the mountains while the missile was above them. Be aware of this reports.

The best way is to bind the radar axis from the RIO to the pilot so you can do from the front cockpit what Jester doesnt do from the back, which is to search the TID area. I dont recommend radar elevation manage via jester menu, it isnt agail enough. Unfortunately heatblur will prohibit binding radar axis and managing the lantirn from the front cockpit (wrong approach in my opinion).

The a-10c hud has a metric option via the in-game hud setup, it is pretty usefull.

It behaves more like a glide bomb than like a standard laser guided bomb.

Just to be clear, are your saying that a direct hit from a AT rocket that has a shaped charge won't penetrate a tank? And when you say "less powerful than other antitank weapons", it doesn't matter if it is less or more powerful than other weapon, the only thing that matters is if it is enough.

I said there "SEEMS to be", no that there IS, please don twist the arguments. Nevertheless, If you saw the documentary you will realise that they where in a farm area. I mark on the image a moving object in the middle of a field, so it SEEMS to be a tractor, maybe is was a star wars speeder bike, but I think that the most probably thing to think would be of a tractor. "Listen to your customers, but don't listen too much"... I agree 100%, there are people here that wants to make DCS sort of an arcade game where things are balanced.

No one said that they where not cars on a road, but at least we can agree that an A/G radar will show a tank, that I suppose has a bigger radar return than a car, moving over flat terrain. There even seems to be a tractor in that image.

Here is an image of a Mi-28 UB Havoc A/G Radar with two diferent modes. Red dots are cars moving towards the helicopter and green dots are cars moving away from it. It seems to me that this radar works just as "DCS virtual pilots" expect it to work and even better.

Who in his right mind would spend the money needed to develop a lase guided rocket that has no AT capabilities? is totally illogical. It is not a matter of how many Kg of explosive the rockets have. This video shows what only a couple of grams of explosive can do.
