If I recall correctly, VNAO's F-14 also includes the F-18, so even if you tried to replace the original AI F-14 you would get the F-18 as well within the skin slots. In addition, I remember there were problems if you replace the AI F-14 with VNAO's F-14 because it sits higher than the model...etc.

RIP Despite all these bad aviation news, flying still remains the safest way to travel. We just don't hear about the Hundreds and hundreds of car accidents a day. In addition, as the economy worsens, many airplanes (including military jets) don't get their regular check up/maintenance. I know Southwest Airlines has been skipping out quite a lot to save on costs.

There is the canopy glass if you click on the additional photo links above your post. I think it might have disappeared if the user alt-tab the game, then the canopy may not show up.

Its hard but not impossible to fly with a keyboard. But yes I highly recommend a HOTAS joystick and Trackir. Those are a must have.

If all else fails, the maintenance covers would be useful for damage model as well as we have seen on the Su-25T and Ka-50 those panel get's blown off.
