  1. I just got back from the Planes of Fame airshow held at the Chino Air Museum. Lots of good vintage aircraft mixed with modern aircrafts such as the F-22 and CF-18. It was a hot day but worth every second to see those planes perform and visit the museum complex to learn about the vast history of flight. Here's some pictures:
  2. anyone had any problem where the X/Y axis on the stick suddenly stop working?
  3. Updated to the latest patch, gave me a lot of troubles. Everytime I launched a mission, always crashed and it says "cannot load debriefing" Uninstalled all the mods, ran the DCS repair and now it works but kinda a pain
  4. I can't read chinese, but when you get it, can you post a pic? I would like to see the quality, if it's good I can buy it off of you.
  5. I've seen better, just 3 weeks ago they had the warthog and the saitek combat pedals for 399
  6. Yea I suck at making my own, I wish someone still produce them, every search turned up dead end
  7. thanks for the help so far, the script editor seems harder than I thought so I might take a look into he target GUI first since that's recommended for starters. But I want to know what is the difference between the release, press, pulse...etc. Hold is obvious but can't really find the difference on release or press and when to use those. And also how to create secondary combo keys, like with the saitek joystick I can flip into mode 1 2 3, since there's no direct function for that, i need to know how to create a back layer keys.
  8. Does anyone know where I can buy a warthog dust cover? I know dm use to make those but I think he doesn't sell anymore. I don't know how to make my own, would love one with the remove before flight tag, any help would be appreciated
  9. Sure anything would help at this point, script/GUI...not sure why there's two separate editors for this joystick, I was wondering why I have both installed. As long as I can see it and kinda get an idea of what I'm doing then I should be set. Because I tried to play around with the GUI, had a few keys binded, then in game it stops working or either some keys I selected "hold" like the TD box but I have to remember to leave others as "press" or "release" don't know what's the difference between those two and then it doesn't work.
  10. Hey guys, I just got a nice new HOTAS Warthog for Christmas and looking for a good profile to load it up with. The target GUI isn't as simplistic as I once thought, programming this is getting quite difficult. There's a lot of options like press, hold, release, pulse...can someone explain the difference? I also downloaded a profile but it's split to two files in .lua file, where do I put these? Because when I edited one, it comes in a .fcf file, please help thanks.
  11. curious if the paid version of tacview would be on sale for black friday or cyber monday? Was going to recommend a few friends to get it.
  12. In light of the recently released F-86 module, I actually picked up this model airplane made by Hobby Master in 1:72 scale North American F-86F Sabre USAF 4th FIW, 334th FIS, #52-4513 Flown by James Jabara Kimpo AB, Korea July 1953 Item: HA4307, 1:72 Scale During WWII P-51 pilot James “Jabby” Jabara scored 1.5 victories, it was during the Korean War flying F-86s that he excelled. On December 13,1950 Jabara arrived in South Korea with the 334th FIS / 4th FIW and by April 22, 1951 had 4 MiG-15 victories. On July 15, 1953 James Jabara downed his 15th MiG-15 and became a triple ace after two tours of duty and flying 163 combat missions. He was the second highest scoring U.S. Korean War pilot after Captain Joseph McConnell with 16 MiG-15 victories. This is my first Hobby Master Sabre model, I absolutely love it! It comes pre-assembled, you just put it in the configuration you want (i.e. fully loaded, empty, gear up or down...etc and display it) HM really nailed the look of this aircraft, and I love this livery. I had seen it perform in-person during the March AFB show, here is a picture of the real aircraft: Here is some pictures of the model itself: And here she is next to her best friend: the Hobby Master MiG-15, item: HA2410 (at least on the ground anyway...in the skies is a totally different story)
  13. kinda curious would upgrading ram to 32 gig would see any performance gain because I have a 16 right now. I see it for a good deal for 4th of july weekend sale so I might get it.
  14. Look into your options for each aircrafts, I believe when you look at the axis, there's two colums, the stick and throttle but they are both assigned to the same axis in both fields. You have to remove it so the stick and throttle doesn't conflict with one another. It happens with the x-55.
  15. Hey guys, trying to figure out how to export the MFD or TV like on the A-10A, A-10C, Su-25T, Su-27, F-15...etc onto my secondary monitor. Mainly I turn it off but I want to put it into good use. Is there anyone running two 1920x1080 resolution monitors side by side that I can replace the view.cfg file and I should have that option? Thanks
  16. the total with everything including the monitors, the joystick, the trackir, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and the rig itself was $3037.84. The monitors was 200 each.
  17. I love these speakers, they look and sound amazing. Got it on sale for $100 a little while back. the wireless version of the G602 mouse (the one I have) has an amazing battery life. On "gaming mode" it delivers up to 250 hours of nonstop playing. On conservative model, it delivers 1440 hours. I still haven't charged it after a month of playing so its pretty damn good. Got it for $50
  18. I just built this a few weeks ago, decided to do a complete overall. Now I'm flying happy Here is the Specs: Switch 810 Full Tower Chassis Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming G1 Wifi-BK Intel i7 4790 EVGA GTX 780 TI Classified w/Back Plate Corsair AX860i PSU Corsair CPU Liquid Cooler H100i Cougar Fans 8x CF-V14HB and 2x CF-V12HPB Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB Ram 1866 Mhzz Intel 530 Series 240GB SSD WD 3TB Black Series HD Soundsticks III Speakers Logitech G602 Mouse 2x Dell U2414H Monitor Roccat Ryos MK Pro Keyboard Saitek X-55 Joystick TrackIR 5
  19. remember to go into controls and reassign all the axes for each plane, for some reason DCS recognizes both X and Y axes and another axes for each stick and throttle. You have to assign them individually so they don't collide with one another.
  20. Is anyone having problem with programming the stick through the software - especially when you switch between modes? For example, In mode 2, I have everything fall back on the first mode one (which didn't work so I had to manually select each button function) The only difference is that in mode one, the trigger is wheel brake w and in mode two is fire (space)....even though it's clearly selected space, it still gives me W in mode 2 when pressed?
