  1. Shilkas are like butter for the gun. But to have any decent effect on a T-72, you gotta stay still for longer.
  2. For me its teasing SA-11s into giving me the whole 16 yards and then knocking out 2 launchers and both C&C vehicles in a single gun pass.
  3. The Sabre needs more fart to keep up with the 15....
  4. While there are exceptions to Strut's view I do have to say that this post is extremely ironic considering the first line in your signature.
  5. You missed the F-111 from that list

  7. Indeed...I run on a rather health conscious lifestyle. :D

  9. No idea. Its a cat in a box.
  10. Where does mouth-in-hell Spice-A-Roney sit?
  11. Blast...Any chance you could lend me your time machine? I need to go into the future a couple months to get all my complete source code and then come back so I can finish everything in record time.
  12. The CAS in the F-15 is not a full authority system like F-16. The error signal used is desired G - actual G. There are no alpha limiters involved. The error signal for the SAS in the A-10 if im not mistaken is 0 - actual rotational velocity. In otherwords it tries to keep the aircraft on a stable flightpath.
  13. Read my post again mate :) . Altitude is the key. Nothing like good ole gravity to get this bird racing especially when she is heavy.
  14. Theres another thing. Get your engines to idle well before you position yourself at altitude. If you have your engines powered up they can hear you more easily.
  15. They can be killed quite easily if you hit from just over a mile away from really high (steep dive) with a quick burst and then get the hell out of there while jinking like crazy. But yes...they are tough lil buggers...The alternative is to hit at night. NVGs you can see them but they cant see you till you fire your guns and then they lose you quick.
  16. There are plenty of 3DArtists out there....Its the programmers that are the toughest to come by. A highly skilled programmer/software engineer is most often already taken and up to his ears in work because the company would rather double/triple his pay than lose him to someone else.
  17. With all this talk of the vehicles vs bridges bugs you have to admit it can still be quite amusing. Talk about 2 birds with 1 stone.
  18. AI cant see through buildings and neither can you but both can target through autogen (trees/bushes). If you have a general idea of where the AI is you just have to scan that area while pressing the targeting key (enter) at random. Chances are you will get a lock quite quickly. I think I have driven more than one AI ground commander absolutely nuts by knocking out his tank as he is moving through a clump of trees. Long story short...only use buildings as cover for fire from other vehicles. Trees are only good for cover from manned airborne threats.
  19. Hi guys On some multiplayer servers (usually those with a lot of action) I sometimes run into a problem where enemy vehicles stop shooting at me and any weapons I offload on them have absolutely no effect whatsoever. A direct hit from a GBU-10 on say a little ZU-23 truck does absolutely nothing. Any ideas?
  20. Most of the single player campaigns have fighter escort. You have to send them in by opening the ATC menu and selecting the F10 (Other) option.
  21. Don't you mean squares? Or are the hardware pixels of your screen round?
  22. For all you cat lovers out there and those dog lovers who believe kitties are 2nd rate....this turns the tables. Lets not start a cat vs dog debate here though please. Still...reminds me of my own lion hearted Leo (sadly was put down at the age of 13 last year April due to cancer). He lost the use of his left front paw which got stabbed in a fight with someone who tried to break into our house when he was only a year old. 3 weeks later he did it again in-spite of his injury. Both breakins were unsuccessful thanks to him and he was my closest friend for a long time. C-Opm9b2WDk
  23. I think I managed at one point to get a Mk-82 to gain just barely 500 feet of altitude from release in the A-10. Its just too slow.
  24. After a couple years of hiatus I finally got back into this....This particular model is a vintage. I first saw it when I was about 5 and wanted one ever since. Both launches are shown in slow motion as well. Best viewed in HD on a big screen. Next shots will probably be with more potent sugar/vitamin fuels since Estes engines are pretty much impossible to get here in SA (The 2 in this video are actually older than I am).
