  1. Craters I mean ... not craters (my bad english). So I noticed thet the shader itself has great impact. I was posting here to know if with your experience it is possible to edit some files to lower number of particles related to this effect (FPS hit are specially noticeable in VR, but not in 2D). Can you help me? some values in file to lower number of smokes particles generated? Of course I posted in the bug section. Thanks
  2. Anyone knows how remove weapons & guns ground crates? it seems to me that most fps problems are related with them (many textured individual crates lowers fps a lot). Any file to edit? thanks
  3. please devs look at it. It is not normal such % CPU used (I believe DCS use only 2 cores). % spikes about 50% means 12 threads in my PC, and no, no background activities (% only occupied by DCS.exe)

  6. I noticed huge fps hit in comparison with 2.5.6 concretely when destroying manu thanks in a row / group... for example with A-10C or Ka-50. Nobody notied it? Appart of it, I´m quite surpress due the low fps impact of the clouds in VR. But there is some issue with new effects, affecting dramatically with many units are affected (much more than 2.5.5).
  7. Anyone has this issue? No single Vikhir launch from wingman AI, after engaging ground targets order. Seems that he is aiming the missile BUT without launching.
  8. Yes. I posted in other threads also. Re-loading other map, or other a/c, solve the reflexion borked. BUT reloading the same a/c twice cause some corruption on canopy reflection.
  9. I attach two pictures and the trk file. Mission instant action "A10A Close Air support" No antivirus, no other background programs (my CPU 5900x idles in W10 at 28 ºC). What you can see is %CPU occupied (only DCS, no background, and % with spikes to 50%. That means 12 threads used of 24 that has my CPU...). The most interesting thing: 30-40-50% spikes occours when high AOA turnings happens. In fact, the picture shows CPU usage only during this mission. Edit: this happens with a sustained FPS about 100-110 fps, 4K, MSAA and ultra details. If I set my TV refresh rate about 60hz (60 fps), CPU spikes are normal. A-10A HIGH CPU USAGE.trk
  10. Issue is not my CPU temps (with Ryzen 5900x boost with these tems are normail). What it surprise me is the higher % of CPU usage with 2.7, it seems to me that more threads are used.

In some missions, flying at 120 fps with many units, I noticed some CPU usage reaching 40 or 45 % (only by DCS.exe), in my 5900x (so at least 12 threads are used!!!)... so now the sim is using more cores in comparison with 2.5.6? or its related to some bug? In my case the cpu reach 85 degrees in some situations (Ryzen boost...), I tested it and its completely related to DCS.exe process..
  12. But is the same if you set "force motion smoothing ON" in steam options, right? I set my Index at 90hz but with with constant 45 fps motion smoothing

  14. Please put in thread as "NOT FIXED" because every time a A/C is reloaded, the dynamic reflection disappears.
  15. Same here. This issue hapens also in other objects (at medium distances). Same VR bug that appears when 2.5.6 came out.
  16. Looking at deck crew guys it is easily noticeable those issues (not rendering some cloth details in one eye).

  20. I have it also with some distances. For example, looking the crew at supercarrier just before take off, in catapult. If you look from your cockpit, the one guy that are closer didn´t renders the same details in each eye (clothes are specially noticeable). This bug came from 2.5.5, in many threads since 1.5 years ago, I hope ED fix as soon as possible. My HDM --> Valve Index
  21. Sadly, this bug "not rendered correctly at one eye for some objects" comes sincee 2.5.5, 1,5 years ago. II notice it also. Now, with 2.7 is quite visible with carrier crew just before takeoff, you will see strange things in their clothes at some distances. I hope ED fix it soon. It is specially noticeable in static objects placed.
  22. Maybe it will be quite useful to have a "independient gamma cloud setting", for VR users. I tested with gamma 1.0 and the contrast is perfect. With default gamma 2.2 in VR the clouds are white oversatured. Thanks.
  23. I edited the mission file "relocating" all A/C units in their parking positions. Now it doesn´t crash. Attach the edited mission file. CWW-05-1.miz
