More new of Vulkan in 2021??? Since 2017 that was announced... my GOD ! ... so I will expect vulkan for 2025. BN: appart that VR is not implemented since beginning, due one of your comments...., this sounds to me like an excuse... because, EVEN, in the beginning with DCS V. 1.5, we have MORE VR performance, more FPS and less stuttering that now (I remember in most cases with 90 FPS...), even in multiplayer, even in missions quite more complex than the mission showing in your video by you (F-18 Caucasus winter one vs one Mig-29... this mission only has 1 A.I. unit!!!... try the same video but with 40 ground units + 10-12 AI planes and let me know what´s your FPS...), and of course, with minimal graphical glitches appart of spinning clouds (I mean, relatively to the hardare for that time, concretely with a 1080ti). It is not acceptable such downgrade since 3 year ago... let me say to you what´s happen really in ED´s office: VR is free, VR is no money incoming, so is not a priority. It doesn´t matter if many of us are seeing not rendered some pictures in one eye... or if we´re reporting the same bugs since 8 months, now it seems that the problem is that a bug must be report by each thread.... and meanwhile, No official word or support from ED... appart of your video and your comment in other topic. At in the end, let me rember to you that our work is not doing reporting or "bug investigation", we reported the same bugs with no attention (appart of your responses, of course, many thanks), this is one of ED´s responsability with the sim. I´m paying for having a good VR sim experience, a good product, at least not having a degraded product from previous versions (2.5.5 concretely...). As a MINUMUM, not broken things! I I understand that having 100% perfect with this complexity is nearly impossible, but I don´t accept having so many glitches or faults like we´re having now, especially those bugs that we don´t had in the past. And that is a lack of attention of ED, not that the sim doesn´t support VR since beginnning.

Please BN, It would so much to ask for some situation about this bug, some official words from DEVs? some hint about when it will be fixed??? This doesn´t exists in 2.5.5. It totally ruins inmersion in VR at least in my experience. Thanks PD. It surprise to me a bit not marking as "REPORTED"... 8 months since 2.5.6 now.

Yes, I noticed too. But others issues doesn´t fixed. For example, exhaust heatblur effect, or huge culling noticed at the edge of VR screen, or flood-light in cockpit... I think that this shader parser rendering will be eternal for resolve it...

No hint or clue, nothing about this bug. Even it´s not "reported" or "investigating"... ED seriously, what´s happen since 7 months we have 2.5.6 with THIS??? In 2.5.5 this not occours.

Correct. I had Samsund Odyssey 1 year ago, under WMR, and reprojection was superb. No double images or ghosting during dogfight, when pursuiting a bogey. Now with Index, directly under SteamVR (motion smoothing), the ghosting is terrible. Differents algorithm. With ASW in Oculus I have had the same issues. Currently, I´m waiting ReverbG2 one of the reason its that WMR algorithm doesn´t produces ghostings at all, I remember it was SUPER the reprojection with my Odyssey. Sadly, the steamVR algorith or ASW is quite bad, at least for sims.

ED said it will be ready by the end of 2019!!!! C´mon.... wheater as its now its completely obsolete look FS or IL2... Must be a TOP priority like optimization !!!!!!!

Reprojection algorithm with Windows Mixed Reality doesn´t produce ghosting. Facebook and Valve must learn how to do it...

Come on BN its easily noiticeable in almost every object you put with mission editor. From clouds to ifolds lighting of carrier. ED doesn´t have any HMD to test it since 7 months? come on! of course, parser disabled. Screenshot doesn´t show the issue cause the renders affects to one eye (that screenshot doesn´t show). Its a bug since 2.5.6 --- 7 months, in stable and openbeta... --- fix it ASAP!!!

@BN: I attach some screenshots: BEFORE ENTERING IN MAP VIEW (F10), AND AFTER. You have to test at night. You will see the "residual glare" I´m referring. Could we have a option to quit hangar 3D VR view? Only with grey or black screen, without any other objects or things. Maybe it saves some FPS specially on VR. F10 RESIDUAL BUG LIGHTING.zip

@ED: WHEN YOU WILL ADDRESS THIS BUG???? 7 months NOW. @Bignewy: please would be great if we know some answer appart of the team is working on it... its very disturbing, really disorienting, seeing this on objects. What is curious that scenery objects (houses, electric poles, etc... are not affected). Only those objects you put with mission editor. Come on this issue was non-existant in 2.5.5, 2.5.4, 2.5.3... 2.0.... 1.5 and so on.

Hi Mustang, it seems that your mod also modify shadows of objects (now it cannot be turned off), maybe due this in addition I have VR fps worse (betweet 5 and 10%). Could you modify just to left objects shadowing untouched please?

It seems so ...Like Vulkan, like multicore, like VR fix damms bugs like pictures not rendered in one eye, like weather promised by the end of 2019, like awful fps going down patch after patch, etc... This is plaged of broken promised and unfinished tasks, specially VR people seems completely forgotten (nobody in ED flight with HMD devices???) I hope MS2K10 bring new fresh air altought its a civil sim, maybe one day... Maybe. What ED´s needs to wake up its a strong competence.

Maybe with OCULUS software... but I doubt. in STEAM VR is totally impossible to have the same 2.5.5 performance with same settings.

No one word today about performance or fps fixes, specially in VR. Anything said about clouds improvement or other fixes. This is not good, ED, not good. OPTIMIZE YOUR SIM PLEASE!!!

Try in VR during night. Follow This steps: 1-. Press F10 view. 2-. Return to cockpit. It seems some sort of residual glare due hangar scene. Could we have a option to remove VR hangar from background? just for freeing resources and maybe solving this new bug

I dont notice any difference with objects disappearing or quality between 524288 and 400000. In fact, with 524288 in VR you notice how some objects are not rendered in one eye (6 month bug since 2.5.6). However fps are a bit higher with 400000, which is specially important in VR.
