  1. In VR are totally messed in the latest update. CANNOT READ ANYTHING!!!
  2. This could be great regarding FPS and new HMD coming....
  3. Shadows over water and some more differents ocean colours from alttitude could give great depth and feeling to mariana maps. I hope ED fix soon VR glitches that remains (mainly cloud jittering and some objects details not rendering at some distances).

  6. Objects not rendered in some eye is a bug that remains since 2.5.6 started (1,5 years ago). In 2.5.5 was inexistant. You can see now easily with carrier crew clothing. I don´t know why ED are not priorizing this (like they are with cloud jittering). Even ED closed many threads with it, without solution I don´t understand WHY.

I suspect track recording are a fps killer in some form (because even putting in autoexect "disable_write_track = true", this only does NOT saving trk and the end, BUT track script recording really are switched on every time. CPU latency / performance it is EXACTLY the same). @Devs Please give us an option to disable track recording completely, like we had in Lock On 1.00 (2004). Maybe this helps with fps. @Anyone: know some file scripting to disable track recording (appart of autoexec, that option does nothing).

  9. Why are you thinking that this issue will be solved in stable release? I bet that will not. In the past we have seen many bugs remains in stable. Just look not rendering some details in one eye (in VR) that is pending for fixing since 2.5.6 appears (more than 1 year ago).

  11. Happens with ALL aircrafts 2nd lod (more noticeable on some of them, like M2000C, F-16 and Su-25T, but affects all A/C). In MP when you enter 2nd time, doesn´t happens. Only in singleplayer when reloading a mission. Note: if you load 2nd time an A/C, in SP, but changing the scenery, it loads correctly.
  12. Issues happens with ALL planes. 2nd time planes are loaded, reflections corrupted (until you load other plane or terrain). Anybody has posted THIS in other bug forums?
  13. Another problem is that with the second loading of the same aircraft, reflection does not load correctly. Flappie is this has been reported???   14. Many Thanks Taz, but testing with your textures, there is no difference regarding FPS hit. As I tested before, even with those textures disabled in graphics.lua (dynamic2 = {0, 0,0}), fps hit is huge, most noticeable by looking where weapons impacts (most noticeable with rocket salvo). I think its related for some sort of accumulative script, or memory leak that leads extra unnecesary cycles to the CPU. This makes huge battles nearly completely unplayable, even with high end computers.
  15. There are many threads since 2.5.6 appears, near 1.5 years ago, regarding these issues. In 2.5.5 the rendering in L and R eyes were correct. I don´t understand how ED didn´t fix yet :-(.
  16. EDIT: it seems to me that is related to crater that weapons does (specially too many crates with rockets give a huge fps hit only by looking at the zone where rockets land). Any mod or option maybe to disable those craters? it will bring fps normal... EDIT2: Doing other testes, In grahics.lua, if I change those lines: dynamic2 = {300, 18000,0.5} to 0 values: dynamic2 = {0, 0,0} Then, textures of craters or objects debris caused by weapons aren´t showed in SIM, however, the fps reduction where multiple weapons (like rockets) "lands" happens exactly as before. Even when there is not visible any graphic. Like the craters are rendered, BUTnow invisible to view... BUT with the same FPS hit. Any way or mod to remove crater phenomenon FPS issues caused by weapons?
  17. When there are 4 or 5 tanks (or other objects) destroyed, it causes a HUGE fps it. I tested it, and to my suprise... its not related to burning or other graphjics effects! It´s easily noticeable when destroyed units stops burning and smoking, only by viewing to them, causes a huge fps loss. It´s very strange due no graphic effect or other "active AI" are in the scene... Please devs look at it, I thing with this fixed and no FPS loss, the performance of the sim could increase a lot, specially with tank battles / bombing mission / attack choppers.

  19. I have the same first loading crashes of others users I see (only one time, after loading the sim, instant action in caucasus with F-18 - free flight mission -). In W10 event viewer, I noticed that 1-2 seconds before crash, a security W10 update happened, It could be related? In logs, I have the same issues related with ImGui.dll.   20. I suspect that most of these things will happen or improve when graphics engines will adapt to vulkan, right? Particulary I´m waiting since 1,5 years to have solved bug related with not rendered some parts of objects in VR in the left eye (the last 2.7, it is easily noticeable on aircrew carrier guys, many post in VR section without solution yet - before 2.5.6 this was not an issue -)
  21. Let´s pray... contrast and cloud movement to be fixed! and the cockpit reflections corrupted in the 2nd loading of the same plane.
  22. I tried the G2 and returned it. Clarity is awesome but only in center. To me, the most important thing is FOV and sweet spot, it´s what give me inmersion in flight simulator. Of course, I expect some day to have a Valve index with the resolution of G2 and maybe, 300 gr. less... wil be awesome. Maybe an Index 2? I dream!!!
  23. It think that it is particle related. When you very close camera to flamming effect - I mean, for example, 4-5 tanks burning and cam close to 2-3 meters -, the fps degrades A LOT (also seen on 2D). So in VR, it is specially nocieable, when you view to 6-7 objects burning, 45 fps ASW is not maintened. So it would very useful to have some version with little particles related, or if you know which parameters to edit, if you can help it would be appreciated. Many thanks.
