Thins introduce other rendering issues: sea glitches, culling grahics error at screen edges, and cockpit flood light rendered in one eye, engine blur not rendered in one eye. I hope ED fixes shader parser, I noticed a small fps increase, but I cannot live with issues listed above, those are breaking specially culling problems, sea glitches and light-cockpit flood.
-
The same issues happens with tracer glow rendering of bullets (the glow is not rendered in R eye at medium distance) making a artificial and unreal effect. Finally ED fixed bug related with gear flood lighting, I hope those others issues would be fixed.

I only would like to remove the round black halo for NVG (it allows to see a bit better the instrument), or at least, to have that possibility. IMHO its quite bigger (at least, to my taste). Maybe editing some of your could decrease or remove it (I remember some modification many months ago, for other guys). Appart of this, your mod is perfect, its like day-night how the external sharpness increase the image quality, also without a single frame hit in performance.

@lefuneste: Incredible god damm MOD, congratulations!!! Very Very impressed I am. I tested sharpness filter, now applied to all screen,... so its incredible the clarity in VR. Now its like in IL2 !!! Even is easier spotting other aircraft. This filter is the one I asked many times to ED. Finallly!!! Please ED, take into consideration to apply as a option, maybe consider to hire lefuneste, maybe could help a bit your engineers. @lefuneste: it could be possible to add some helix 2WW planes mod (like you did in IL2 many yeasrs ago), just for remove the damm glitching produced by ASW or motionsmoothing? Many thanks

Many Thanks! If I only want to use sharness, what file I have to copy?
-
I tested thorought Nvidia control panel, sharpening is ONLY applied at 2D view mirror on your monitor-TV. But not in 3D in VR HMD. EDIT: Or maybe they fixed in newer driver version? are you sure?
-
Nice, can you help me what file its need to mod just to have sharpness filter in all screen?
-
I tested also in PC2, the results are incredible with sharpening applied. In 2D the effect doesn´t look good, but in VR, its essencial (at least, with hardware and tech we have nowadays).
-
In IL2 this filter effect is essential for VR users, easily you can spot ground moving targets, even seems a perceive increase in resolution. Anyone know some "hack" thorought files or something (shaders maybe??)?

Cores 7nm are expected to run at higher mhz, not lower. Why do you say the opposite? I expect a gain marginally better, not 10% only. Maybe 40%. From 1080ti to 2080ti I gained about 30% in fps increase, in general use and without any changes in die size (the same 12nm in 1080 / 2080 ti). Maybe would wise from you, if you contrast a bit more the information.

How use "auto-success" to pass to next mission?
-
Yes. I hope some option just, not tracking but in live process (maybe it could gain a small percentage of fps). I remember many years - 2004 - ago that in LockOn we had that option: we have a key to start saving the track, into mission (a small fps hit happened, just when tracking started).
-
This not disable track data saving during mission, so CPU cycles are the same (with or without). Only prevents save the file at the end of the mission.
-
Please add a sharpen filter in options for VR users. in Il2, that "simple" graphic filter increase visibility and readiness a lot, in cockpit instrument, distant planes, etc... It looks like even higher resolution.
-
@Apache600 Any solution?
-
It could be useful to disable background hangar image in F10, as option. many months ago I have it disabbled due lue edit, but after 2.5.5 it was no possible (DCS give me error at starting). Just to free some resources and gain fps, its not necessary to have in ram those items loaded.

What is the graph for "Rev. 167603"? a developer version not launched?

In VR, what surprise to me is that when PARSER is ON, clouds not rendered in one eye are fixed, also other glitches not rendered correctly (planes at medium distance). However, flood light in cockpit is bugged (rendered in one eye), also afterburner / explossions blur. It appears that fps are more stable Appart, there are culling issues with stereo parser on (110 degrees of previous HDM generation?) Please ED, are you working on fixing the parser? it could be if optimized well, a good improvement in fps stability, there are 2 glitches to fix only (culling and flood lighting, other things seems good).

Could we have some option to increase lighting? the cockpit of Ka-50 is significant darker in comparison with others AC. The dark tint is exaggerated in my opinion.
-
Maybe in public release 2.5.6 there other performance issues like this, due bad mixing in the public version, no so significant like the AI moving trucks huge gap, but it could be related to others. It surprise to me..., mainly, because I remember MANY times Kate´scomments about fps increase planned for the last beta, ...and that fps "fix" didn´t occours (nor significant or insignificant,... none... even there was no mention in changelog .... very extrange, right?). In addition, many of us didn´t see even a 1 or 2% increase in fps, just the opposite, more worse performance,... soy maybe in the editing process of the public beta, and considering that changelog did´nt include any note about fps increase or fixes, those fixes were missed/forgotten in the last patch. So it could be possible, NineLine?

Please don´t remove the feature of seeing position & strobe lights during night, night flight is much improved with this. Maybe, its a bit bigger (it doesn´t appears too much for me, with Index and SS 204%) but at least finally you could detect position lighting AC during night. Its more realistic thinking in nightime operations. Better solution: consider to extend to other planes, not only F-15 or Mi-8 / 26. In real life, a night strobe lighting seen from 4Km, could looks as bigger as the AC emitting lighting (due the "halo" effect). Thanks
