  1. Same situation, rolled back too
  2. After some testing, it seems that huge performance reduction happens in Caucasus map. In PG (even big cities) there is no such huge impact in FPS.
  3. 50% lower than previous 2.5.5 (in VR). For me its near unplayable, a stutterfest it seems that loading of terrain is much lower.
  4. For me 2.5.6 is a stutterfest in comparison with 2.5.5. Same settings. Unplayable in VR.
  5. There is at least new reflection effects on sea, according to the latest pics and videos
  6. This only prevents saving the trk file, without liberate resourses. I would like turn off replays just for increase performance.

  8. Only occours in some pixel density settings in VR. Seems to some shader resolution issues. SteamVR reslution 206% make those lines completely invisible for me. In 200%, it shows like your picture.
  9. I noticed in the last 2.5.6 screenshots, a significant improvement in quality reflections on sea (ships and hills reflected in 2.5.5 are more blocky). Please ED could you confirm any sort of improvement in this matter? In addition, I like a lot the visble stars during night, nowadays in 2.5.5 the stars are nonexistant.

  11. I noticed the same. Didn´t notice any changes in trees or fixes, not resred to original visualization (deleted fxo and metashaders of course).
  12. INS doesn´t work correctly in the first mission, any tips?
  13. Please take this in consideration, I think its easy reachable, it can improve clarity & objects spotting specially on VR. Unfortunatelly it cannot be enabled in nvidia drivers (not in VR, only in 2D wich is superb with sharpening).
  14. Hi, just to inform that is not resolved in the latest patch. This occours at speeds of 250 knots and hight AOA maneovers. Please fix it whenever possible. Thanks.

  17. Please devs take into consideration to implement a sharpening filter in VR (like the other IIGM sim). I thinks is relatively easy to implement. The results, specially in VR and instrument readabiolity, are stunning (the sharpening helps a lot in distant objects, its incredible in the other sim how noticeable are bandits in 10 or 11 Km). In addition, those filter increase a lot the quality without minimum performance. Unfortuneely, is cannot activated (yet) in Nvidia control pannel.

  20. Bump. This little fix is totally necessary in VR, its easy to implement (just mod a config file) please devs make this option in the followings updates. Thanks.
  21. I have a similar CTD in mission 7, just after the choppers appears. Mig-15.
  22. Interesting. Do you mean with "performance" or "high performance" settings? Do you notice better quality of textures instead that with quality settings?
  23. Personally, I have best clarity results with 204% steam app SS, and PD=1.0 in DCS. Thorought NV ispector, to have better clarity in textures, I edited the following parameters. Image attached. I have modified those parameters in other games and I have a quite similar result like sharpening filter, but in VR.

  25. Any hope to implement this in options menu??? devs is very annoying to "update" by myself in each patch... editing its corresponding file. Thanks!
