  1. Many thanks, at least with 75000 is fixed. Do you know where is the file to fix distance sky contrails??? It appears the same double-rendering problem like clouds
  2. Where I can find this line: "LODdistance = 75000, -- max distance getting from float smCamera_Implement::GetDistance(viFlag mask=viCloud) = 100000"
  3. When it would fixed?? With supercarrier the ball IFOLS light is rendered in one eye, not on the other. The same middle-distance rendering bug that affects many other objects.
  4. Appart of very small increase in performance, I noticed the same. I have to restart after one mission, the performance seems degrades over time (memory hole???)
  5. I don´t notice any difference. Glowing on the plane at cockpit, and from the sun (sunset specially) are the same with and without this option.

I noticed in previous 2.5.6.47404 how some exterior nav lighting form A/C - position & strobe - (like F-15 or Mi-26/Mi-24) were visible from many Km during night, as a glowing planes, very relistic. A improvement or me, finally, night ops were doable. BUT Now--- they have been removed in the latest OB 2.5.6.49314!!! why do you do this, ED??????? In addition, exterior lights do not work in choppers
  10. @ED Why this bug is not reported yet? We´re many month with it. Inexistant in 2.5.5 Is there any feedback about the fix? WHEN is planned? I heard something about some optimization code in VR not merged yet.

After 22 years, since 1998 (I was buying ED products since Flanker 2.0, all of them), I firmly take my decission to not buying anything more from ED, until I see significant changes in core sim. Having a "mosquito" or "mariana map" improvements... with more than 10 years with the same buggy clouds/wheather, horrible A.I., core optimization to just 1 trhead, etc... its enought for me. Enought.
  15. Ok, meanwhile at least it could be fixed/improved the fact of having UFO fighters with infinite vertical loopings while dogfight, in ACE level is totally unrealistic what AI can do
  16. The index is better than Rift S by a long way. Also, better that Reverb in all features, except resolution.

  18. I would like to know some info from ED (more that "we are working on it..."). The latest news were whats Kate said: "we will start working on clouds on May...". What is the current situation of this? we´re waiting MANY years with the same clouding dissappearing and static weather stuttering... clouds anb weather are a SIGNIFICANT item in a flight simulator, I don´t understand whats happening with this (pleae, look at the other 2WW sim... clouding&weather is superb). We are now in 2020, just not to have weather from 2004 SIM (the same clouds like LOMAC, 16 years ago...)!!

  22. I like a lot the cotton spinning clouds!!, it´s like a Pokemon game, improving fantasy in DCS world. I think Kate said that in may ED will start working again on this subject... expect to have finished in alpha state by 2025.

  24. Only tested in Openbeta. Incredible mod. Sharpness is really gamechanger, the clarity in VR is superb now. In addition, the copy/paste feature of messages is quite good. I hope ED consider hiring this guy, IMHO he did alone a SIGNIFICANT increase in graphic quality, more HUGE that the work done by a complete development team with 2.5.6. And the most important thing: without ANY FPS penalty. Maybe he could explain some lesson to some engineers saying that shader lighting was the cause of FPS penalty...
