    fpsVR

Speaking for myself, I wouldnt pay for that, no way. In DCS, I have Afterburner+RivaTuner to display my fps in the tray next to the clock so I can look below the headset to check the fps.
  2. I couldnt care less.
  3. Do like adults, create your own wishlist topic if you want to wish something.

    F-15E?

  5. Do the statistics. For a cluster munition to kill a tank, it is imperative to have a direct hit by one or more bomblets. Each bomblet is very light but can concentrate enough power to penetrate at least the thin top armor of AFVs. So you need to do the math and calculate the statistics of how much is the chance that each AFV in a given area will be hit by at least one bomblet. Note that not every hits will result in kills.
  6. That was a very poor comparison. Please try again.
  7. I say again, dont be silly. We're all adults.
  8. Definitely the older version.
  9. Perhaps not the answer you're looking for, but I run a 1070 TI with Ryzen 3600 @ 4.3Ghz and Oculus Rift CV1 plus VR specific tweaks, in particular Kegetys VR shaders at 90fps constant; very fluid, no stutters.
  10. This reminds of me of Richard Burns Rally and more recently, Assetto Corsa.
  11. Luckly for us and unfortunate for ED, there is BMS which is the reference in this case. So if BMS is 90% ready, then I estimate that DCS F-16 is about 20%. One can easily make the comparison on its own, just by checking the avionics and pages on both versions. Most of the times, DCS currently has empty features, dead ends or place holders pages. It's understandable tho since BMS is being developed for more than a decade and DCS is still early EA. What is frustrating tho is that its getting hardly any updates at all lately.
  12. I had originally installed DCS in the HDD. Went the other way round exactly because of the performance impact. Loading times were a pain before more so because I always play DCS in VR, otherwise I much prefer BMS.
  13. Thank you, that's the whole point of it. It's just a simulator; a game! So much nittbulls**ing these days.
  14. I bet we're not getting anything this week or the next. Perhaps some new strobe lights and or placebos. They will call it a major update tho and the fanboys will cheer.
  15. If you compare with BMS you will know that its very true that 80% is still missing. Its already very nice to fly in VR even if it gets very frustrating to see no major changes after so many or so updates, as advertised. I'd say wait for the next sales cause it's definitely not worth £60+ right now.
  16. Well, for the price they charge for it, it should be included already.

  18. Please stay on-topic.
  19. That's very interesting. Do you have a video of a gameplay using the VR controls?
  20. It does change the graphics and its not as straight forward as TIR, you need to wear the Headset and be in the mindset and prepared for VR. But when you try it, you love it. Me, I only miss my TIR, which I sold to buy my VR, simply because now my Falcon BMS 4.34 became unplayable without it and in its current state, its light years ahead of DCS' F-16 in every aspect. In DCS, the only reason why I would use TIR instead of VR is to train BVR and Strikes. To actually play it, I always go VR for sure, it's amazing. Also, TIR5 imo is the one really overpriced of the two options. £169 for the pro version, c'mon? It's better than the cheaper (£35) options for sure, but the small gain in performance cost a whole lot of money when its still just a little webcam with its ir filter removed, a trackclip and the better software.
  21. Great pictures!
