Strange? That sounds like very typical ED behavior to me.

It happened again. The first time I thought I'd done something wrong, perhaps pulling slight negative G causing my bombs to hit me in the face. Second time I was in stable level STRP+ALT AP when I hit the red button; so much so that I checked Tacview and indeed, nothing in there either. What's happening: Sometimes when dropping GBU-12s in level flight, immediately after, the plane explodes. If this is not a bug, please, let me know what it is. I reported this on the 5th, still no words from ED. GBU-10 is also broken. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=276794 GBU-27 apparently is still functional and guiding.

I think you can technically slew the steerpoint with TGP, HSD and HUD. What's missing is the CZ.

The F-16C seems to be the worst affected by these failed updates despite receiving barely none improvements. If only these bugs weren't game breakers like broken CCRP, broken LGB and now broken missiles... I'm starting to think that someone in the team needs to be shown the door, or perhaps a visit to the HR.

Since this wasn't fixed in the last update, here's the mission file: There are 2 groups, to the north, the F-117As, to the south the F-15Es. The first bombs are GBU-27 which are working correctly, so they should mark the target. After that, the following planes drop GBU-10&12s on the same targets, but they will miss by quite a distance. One more week without Mavericks, and counting.

For me they have until BMS implement VR to figure their stuff out.

Currently they can be effective if you use them to put your opponent on defensive while you get in range for a fox 2.

Does anyone know where I can get georeferenced aeronautical maps like this?

This map is still beta. It's developed with the near/mid-future in mind, that's is, Vulkan and future hardware requirements. It's meant to last vs being obsolete early on.

If they do 2/3 of this list, then we're actually traveling back in time to 2 weeks ago. :music_whistling:

I also find that the current AIM-7 model's hit probability to be quite low and lacking, definitely way below the Gulf War statistics. IMO its cause is the rather simplistic radar simulation of DCS. In this case, it doesn't matter how many hours they spend doing CFD if their guidance is rubbish, although I'm grateful that they are apparently putting effort to improve the core mechanics of the game. One step at a time.

At last some good news coming from ED.
