Is there absolutely anything (with or without DCS-BIOS) that we can tap into to derive information on buffeting and vibrations? I'm less after G load as I'm sure this is available. Purpose: F-5E audio modding, in-game sound or external device https://forum.dcs.world/topic/333449-no-audio-feedback-on-buffeting/

Joystick and throttle or pure keyboard?

1. Look up "dcs enabling external views for multiplayer track". The solution should be similar - editing the track as mission file to remove restrictions. 2. No such thing. You can only cycle through airbases. 3. No such feature and not planned. I doubt rewinding is going to be possible even in the new rewritten system. Better plan your takes, record several video shots for each take and work from there. Have you tried disconnecting all your controllers, including TrackIR/VR? Test with keyboard only.

DCS cameras, views and video recording has appropriate guides in the recent posts, including the very latest cinematic camera feature. Try going through those tutorials first. There should be no need for re-mapping of defaults or per-aircraft mapping as far as I know. link https://forum.dcs.world/topic/95008-dcs-cameras-views-and-video-recording/

There are no AI-specific camera controls. "LALT+LCTRL+LDHFT + NUM" What are you trying to achieve?

With some F-5E settings I get a C64 vibes. You fired up the game and yanked the controls in every imaginable way and this is how you learned.

Free 3D Plans for an F-4 Phantom/Century Series Grip!
Bucic replied to _BringTheReign_'s topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
So which one do I print for F-5E and the "wife's hair clip boosted" trigger with TheSimNet_Trigger_Housing.stl ? What's left is Trigger 1 and 4 and I don't see bottom cams in neither (for actuation of the bottom-mounted micro switches). -

Has anyone tried the latest universal trigger? https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6289942/files I printed a set but it's very different in the grip compared to the original one (all-black). I used: TheSimNet_Trigger_3.stl TheSimNet_Trigger_Housing.stl -

Didn't realize I quoted the very latest F-5E mention, from the November interview at with Ginky and others, if anyone's asking.

That's what happens when sales and marketing get 80% of the budget and the engineering gets the scraps. It's a universal mechanism.

Yep, F-4. This much paint would have exceeded the F-5E's maximum takeoff weight.

So pretty much Pitch Axis Maximum Rate setting that is a function of airspeed, where user the user customizes the maximum value for given airspeed range? The dev won't like that second part, that's for sure Axis Maximum Rate that is a constant rate limit is what has been successfully used in Assetto Corsa, allowing for control of a car in full realism mode using a poor controller. Along with a set of additional settings aimed at the same - overcoming the shortcomings of the controller hardware. The full set of those is: Speed Sensitivity - Steering Speed - Steering Filter - Steering Gamma - detailed explanation https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/advanced-steering-setup-controller.35589/ It would seem that Speed Sensitivity is what you wish to see for DCS, as an equivalent. I'm all for it, but even the simpler implementation, I.e. Axis Maximum Rate (Asset to Corsa equivalent: Steering Speed), would have been a powerful tool.

Interesting. Is it also the case in 2D? Please re-test with the frame time indicator in view (cycle using RCtrl+Pause) and screenshots in appropriate points in time. Or do the comparative runs in short succession with MSI Afterburner frame time graph enabled. Comparative CapFrameX set wouldn't hurt. Could you please also cycle between mirrors / no mirrors (M) external / internal view ?

As much as I appreciate the help we got from @agrasyuk I don't think T-38 references are of much use to me. I figured that once I learned about the standard avia rack panel dimensions in the imperial world there's not much more I can derive from T-348 reference. At least for my use. For this reason I'm proceeding with references taken from DCS ModelViewer. As cumbersome as it is, I managed to squeeze some reference shots from it. Attached is a GIMP project file with dimension reference for the entire front-bottom part of the F-5E cockpit (separate wireframe and regular image layers): I'll be dimensioning it and cutting the cockpit actual sheet metal panel (not the label cover plates) soon. If you feel you can dimension it to a higher standard, be my guest A re-paste from my previous post: @Bcamel1 Hi! No worries. I come and go in waves as well. Look what I found the other day. That might be "common knowledge" to some, it wasn't to me. Also some T-38 Cockpit Familiarization Trainer. https://www.simpits.org/fileproc/showfiles.php Here's my plan for right now https://forum.dcs.world/topic/318106-f-5e-simpit-cockpit-dimensions-and-flight-controls/?do=findComment&comment=5349053 f-5e_cockpit_reference_orthoMV_frontCPlow_01.7z
