Everything planned for the update sounds really good. One thing that hasn't been mentioned, but I hope gets fixed is the cursors for the tgp & hud are out of sync.

I hope all of this plus the deck sliding is fixed with the Supercarrier.

The new rain effect is an option in the ME. However, the effect can only be seen on 2d monitors. Unfortunately, it is not noticeable in VR. In VR, you still see rain drops but not the new effect.

Wow. Talk about entitled. Do you really think you have that much power? Ohhh you think so because you're a "customer".:lol: Every thread I click on, there's you with the negative. If you really have the power over ED, I would gladly buy EVERY module ED has so they don't have to worry about you and your pressure.:smilewink:

I'm slowly trying to get a couple of co-workers into DCS. I say slowly because I'm not the type to stuff DCS down somebody's throat which could turn them off. One of them have already downloaded the sim and tested his system, but I think that's about it so far. Hopefully, they all come around soon. :)

Ok. Now my ears have perked up. Now I'm interested again. My guess is, the video won't be ready for tomorrow, so maybe next Friday.

Is there an unspoken race to see who's going to create a thread every week asking about a patch? You really couldn't wait and see? Asking for a video from Wags is not going to get a video. I'm really sure he'll post them when they are ready.:doh:

My Reverb loves the new cockpit. I haven't flown the Mirage in over 2 years, so I'm glad to get back in it. Great job, Razbam.

Will we ever be able to choose armor piercing with tracers ammo, or is that not realistic?

I really doubt this will be released this year. To be honest, we really haven't had any NEW news or detailed info about the module. They haven't even mentioned pricing yet and we have a month and a half left in the year. Not to mention end of year holidays and time-off for staff.

Also, the hud TD box is still out of sync with the tgp view.

Great point. A toolset within the ME is very much needed for custom weather. I'm sure ED will provide something useful.

Never heard of it. ED normally uses their own home-grown tech for their home-grown engine.

First of all, Welcome to DCS. The only stupid question on these forums are "is there going to be an update today?". :) Are you pressing up on the TMS button when the TDC is over your target? I believe this locks up a target on the radar.

Nobody knows anything. All we have are the screenshots. I'm starting to worry, because non of these questions are being answered.

Exactly, it was never fixed. That's why I can't do a cold start in the Tomcat. The sliding messes up my INS alignment.

That sucks, but thanks for the info though. It's weird when the different branches of the military didn't use the same basic weapons, such as rockets or CBUs.
