I have the same issue and already have had ED support look into my PC using Teamviewer. They now need a programmer to look into the issue as I have all the perquisites for the BS to work in Openbeta but somehow the software continues to ask for an activated BS1 while it's been installed and activated, even by the ED support members temselves.

This is a known issue.

Still working on getting mine solved. ED support did a teamviewer session with me this evening, the two guys were not able to solve the issue so they're bringing in a programmer to help out. I have another session for tomorrow night, will keep you posted.

The story continues, the support ticket I had was auto-closed (I was away) so I opened a new one with reference to the old one. None of the solutions helped for me. I keep hoping, also, when DCS1.5 leaves Beta and becomes the mainstream product, I want this issue resolved.

Known bug.

Same for me, ED and me are throwing support tickets at each other to get it resolved. I bought the KA50 back in 2008 or so, upgraded to BS2 and within 1.5 I can't get the module installed through the module manager as it states I need BS1 activated but I can start and fly within BS1 with no problems. With 1.2.16, no problems using BS2 module, under 1.5 I can install the BS2 module but can't activate it as it states it can't accept my upgrade key...

You need a FARP with vehicles for that

Good to hear Savage, which original version of the black shark do you have? 1, upgrade from 1 to 2 or 2?

Not only that, but the currect radar guided systems in DCS require you to have a eyes on the target before firing. This also isn't correct, especially the SA-15 should be able to target, launch and track targets and missiles from the comforts of a radar screen.

Same issue here, Looking at Dusheti and Tianeti village from up higher shows OK, zooming in further gives blurred triangles over large parts of the villages.

Made a support ticket, will wait to see how this pans out.

Although the module installs with dcs_updater install KA50, it won't accept my upgrade BS1 to BS2 key. It won't install via dcs_updater KA50bs1 as it says it needs to be activated first. So, although the BS2 is now installed, I can't fly it but only look at it from the F2 view....

I too have this problem, I upgraded from 1 to BS2 and don't have an install key of BS1 available. I get the error message that BS1 needs to be activated first...

EOF usually means End Of File, try running the repair function to see if that helps
