Rafale has been set in the shadows of Typhoon and others, it's is a very good looking airplane, something i can't say about the Typhoon.

Has anyone tried 1.02, does it make a big difference? German 1.02, http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?;act=ST;f=64;t=55919 Anyway the mission editor is pretty impressive, similar to the one in lock on, but also implements triggers, goals etc.

Got bored and turned to the dark side.

Opinions differ on what it crucial for flight simulation. The features you mention like dynamic campaign, battle enviroment engine has allot to do with gameplay, ie you won't find them in a sim used by the airforce. Not saying lockon shouldn't improve those areas to, one step would be to extend the mission editor to handle randomness, logic expressions (triggers) -

Su-25T 12:46:00 Cruise: 977 km/h @ 6078 m Instruments says mach ~0.97, calculated: 0.86 Start 5010 KG End 1010 KG I found that the amount of fuel is not the same on the ramp as you set in the mission editor. 5310 KG -> 5010 KG on the ramp. , less difference without ext tanks, 3090 KG -> 3070 KG. -

You say the F-15's porked?? never heard that before :) Su-27 Time: 24:30 (stationary 24:46) Fuel: 0 KG (ran out on approach) Climbed to 10000 on full AB, then lowest AB to 13200 and maintained mach 2.2, until descend. -

haha, true. 03:36:05 FORECAST: NO GO 03:36:12 LAUNCH: NO GO 03:36:13 LAUNCH: NO GO 03:36:16 LAUNCH: NO GO 03:36:21 MISSED WINDOW 03:36:34 LAUNCH: SCRUBBED -
There have been some extensive coverage of the launch here, since there is a swede onboard, for the first time. They're broadcasting live on public tv 02:47 (GMT+1) :) The launch was scrubbed this friday because of low clouds, now is the second attempt. However it's been said it's only a 30% chance that there will be a launch today. Anyway it's pretty interresting to hear shuttle launch control on NASA TV: http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html

x1600 is quite a bit faster, at high graphic settings i think it's faster. http://www.laptoplogic.com/resources/detail.php?id=37&page=4

About the first post, imo it's a nice kit for a good price, you won't be able to map all keys to it like a HOTAS, but the most important ones. MSFFB2 is more precise and feels better than say the x45.

Spectacular shots, I like third post bottom-center, the ocean looks very mysterical. What camera/lens did you use? -
Does anyone know how to get rid of the ALT menu once first exposed? I'm testing the demo on a laptop, i think 1 GB ram is minimum for a good experience. Bluescreens allot on this system also.

DL version needs an activation for the new system ofcourse, but it's no problemo.

SwAF pilots refer to JAS 39 Gripen as a '39', "trettionia" in swedish. In some videos they call it JAS 39, but not Gripen. Add the aircrafts you know, I'm particularly interested in what VVS pilots call the Su-27 and MiG-29 :)

Are you going to turn into a chopper whore?
peterj replied to Kenan's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I'm tired :-) -
Maybe you've ran out of activations? Initially you have five, if you contact support you'll get 15 more. There's no limit on how many times you can download it. Also, you can save the registry key so you won't have to reactivate unless you change any hardware.

NEW Saitek's Rudder Pedals !!!
peterj replied to zaGURUinzaSKY's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I wonder why the pedals are designed so that you rest your foot on the pedal, IRL it seems a more common design that you rest your foot on the floor? http://www.hpnpilot1200.org/gallery/albums/Bonanza5/Rudder_pedals.jpg http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/flankers_pages/su-27sku_files/su-27sku_14a.jpg http://www2.airliners.net/open.file/1049095/M/ -

A genuine Cold War Luftwaffe jacket, god knows what that's worth on ebay ;) No but I think its worth more than €30 if it's in good condition. Here you can get one new, http://www.flightsuits.com/leather_luftwaffe.html
