  1. I guess everything was wrong with that post ;) Referer problem with the link, here it is http://membres.lycos.fr/elfiria/video/ It's probably the only single engine aircraft that carries both thrust reverser and afterburner, and one of two fighters that does.
  2. Crappy quality, but a cool clip showing Viggens STOL capability, http://membres.lycos.fr/elfiria/video/viggen-landing.wmv It's one of two aircrafts that carries borth a thrust-reverser and an afterburner. (the other is the Tornado) I think Aurstria retired their last Draken planes this year. http://tinyurl.com/anlrk
  3. You know you're talking about one that's been the fourth largest air force in the world? In the 50's and 60's :) http://www.globaldefence.net
  4. It doesn't seem like it carries the SPPU-22 gunpod. http://wmilitary.neurok.ru/ka50.html The main cannon is moveable, Shipunov 2A42 30 mm (not sure if these figures is right) Vertical 3.5°/37° Horizontal 9°/2.5°
  5. There are some issues over there.. Iran intend to produce enriched uranium in underground facilities, for civil use they say, ofcourse the EU and the USA doesn't want this. The EU3 and IAEA do what they can to prevent this by diplomatic means. http://in.today.reuters.com/news/newsArticle.aspx?type=worldNews&storyID=2005-11-18T232642Z_01_NOOTR_RTRJONC_0_India-224158-1.xml
  6. I imagine that the AFM makes the biggest difference when your reaching the edge of what the airplane can do, while that egde is narrower on the su-25t it should make a noticeable differance on any airframe? You could argue that the fact that the 25t is underpowered makes it more fun to fly. It's challanging and rewarding, if you do it right you can make a sharp turn, else you will fall like a brick :) Anyway, dispite any balance problems I like what ED does now, adding new content with new features.
  7. To much of the lunch-bordeaux :D
  8. I didn't like the x45, I found it hard to get a god grip without pressing the pinkie switch, and the centering mechanism has an initial stiffnes that you have to overcome to move the stick. I suspect the x52 have some of these issues left.
  9. Some of your suggestions seems like a lot of effort for little to no gain, while getting rid of memory hungry services and those you never use is probably a good ideá.
  10. I find it close to associate that formation with a delta wing, since it's planes with delta wings flying in a delta formation :) Wedges can also be cut out of spheres (in everyday use atleast), like a wedge of apple. However, dictionary.com list this among other meanings for wedge: 2. c A wedge-shaped formation, as in ground warfare.
  11. Irish? ;) I think i can place them as indian Su-30mki now, however that's not the indian country flag afaik. Why are the stripes vertical, military flag?
  12. Cool picture, you don't see em to often in gray, what type origin are those?
  13. Good to see her screw.. noo I mean good to see her in work.. wait noo /leaving :)
  14. Is it possible to build stand-alone planes for lock on in similar ways that ED do, or is the physics formats etc hardcoded/unkown? The reason i ask i because some (potentially high quality) fighter planes are built for Xplane and MSFS, lock on would obviously be a much better platform.
  15. I took the time to "master" the 25T recently and it's great fun because of the following reasons: Shkval targeting system + mercury pod, the vikr, vertically autoaiming gunpods, laser guided bombs, etc etc and a challenging flight model :) If it get's out of trim, which it does easily, I fly it straight and press alt+3 and let the autopilot trim the aircraft.
  16. I'm hoping for a worthy successor to the, imo, best looking fighter in the history. The Berkut is nice, that one looks like a Sukhoi, I'm not sure about the claimed drawings of a T-50.
  17. Do you use the ILS? When you're in return mode (1 key) and approach a runway it switches automatically to landing mode, to make a perfect approach you should keep the small circle inside the larger one. Very usefull for carrier landings :) I think 280-290 km/h is a good final approach speed, you don't wan't to go much below that.
  18. I think it has been discussed before but i couldn't find that thread. Will the ka-50 in 1.2 carry the r-73?
  19. Do these su-35:s fit a digital fly-by-wire system, uprated engines and/or the backward facing radar? http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/flankers_pages/su-27_variants.html
  20. Seems like they didn't prepare for the "slight" increase in traffic/load a livefeed could give :) Service Unavailable (the whole website)
  21. Are you sure you wan't the french version? Bonjour parler Betty de monsieur! tirez vers le ha.. *CRASH* (pull up) ;) (yes i suck) ont, now when you remind me i should switch to the russian HUD it's allot cooler.
  22. That's hard to beat! Is it arranged by someone like flymig.com? It would be nice to see a report from this and MAKS 2005. Enjoy your flight :)
