  1. All fixed. I was able to find the setting and update the mission. Works fine now. @BIGNEWY @draconus Thanks for your time!
  2. Carrier is CVN-72. I can see the crew, but they're hanging around at the catapult. (with their backs to me ) Thanks
  3. Hi @BIGNEWY, as requested separate topic with track. I am using the supercarrier version of the mission below (version 7.4) When choosing a cold start slot, I am spawned on the deck but no deck crew is nearby. I also am not getting a message like "Awaiting salute gesture. Salute when ready". Can you please look into this? Thanks. supercarrier.trk
  4. Thanks for getting back on this. Thats a bit disappointing I must say. @BIGNEWY Is this expected behavior or can this be a bug?
  5. Can anyone comment on this? Do you have the full super carrier experience in this mission? salute to startup, salute before taxi etc?
  6. WIP Receiving messages from DCS.
  7. Hi, I am using the supercarrier version. When selecting cold start, I spawn on the deck, but there is no crew standing by and I don’t get a message ‘awaiting salute gesture’. changing to other slots does not make a difference. I do see some crew standing at the other side of the deck. Anyone else having this issue? Am i missing something? Thank you for this great mission file!
  8. Hey All, Again I have created a mobile kneeboard app. Completely created with AI in flutter, so it supports iOS and Android. I think I coded 4% myself, the rest is all AI. As a iOS programmer for over 15 years, I don't think I will have a job in 2 years or so. Brought to you by Static Chicken, I present DCS Kneeboard. (Also created with AI) The app has no kneeboard content, you can add your desired content yourself. In a nutshell: - Export the folder structure using the app. - On your PC add all your checklists, maps etc - create a zip - in app, import your kneeboard suite. - The in app selected airframe and terrain will determine what is shown on each tab. - Share the zip with friends iOS The iOS version can be downloaded using this link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/YCSaGEts Valid for 90 days. If there is enough interest I will go through the hassle of publishing it in the AppStore. Android Android APK is published at https://github.com/mkoorn/dcs_kneeboard_public/releases I don't have an Android device, hasn't been tested as well as it should. Windows I Also created a small sys tray app for your DCS machine. It lets you pull kneeboard files from the current mission into the app. Also to be found here: https://github.com/mkoorn/dcs_kneeboard_public/releases Below an AI Generated explanation of the app.
  9. this fixed it for me as well. Also had to bump the gamma setting a bit, but now very flyable. the only thing I have now, is when using the night vision goggles there is also an overlay. I’m not talking about the blur (which is as i understand how it should be) but it is a layer on top of that, which is also locked to the vr headset. To me it feels the same as the issue with the night view. Anybody know if there is a fix for the NVG as well?
  10. Hey all, I have developed a new kneeboard app for iOS and Android and later also as a windows app. This is a rewrite from my original app yawc which was only for iPad and only had content for the A10C. yawc iOS App In this new app I have setup the content so that it is possible to have checklists for multiple aircraft. Version 1 does not yet contain all the content yawc had but I realy wanted to get this version out and get some feedback. Currently I have added an A10-C and a UH-1H checklist. The idea is that checklists are configured using excel sheets. I have created a github repo where you can find the current checklists and other content. https://github.com/appcentric-nl/dcs_kneeboard_content If you want to add aircraft and checklists, you can have a look at the example excel sheet or the checklist which I created based on @Snoopy's work. After you have finalized your new checklist, you can do a pull request with the new content, which I can then pull into the repo and with that create a new build. Same goes for airfields and images. For now only Georgia is in there, but if you would like to add othere theatres, it is simply a matter of adding the data to the airfield excel and uploading the corresponding plate images. so, below the links to download. AppStore - DCS Kneeboard Google play - DCS Kneeboard Looking forward to your feedback.
  11. @markturner1960 on this link, find “to enable motion reprojection”, below that there is a video explaining how to enable it. For me reprojection didn’t work until I did these steps. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/enthusiast-guide/using-steamvr-with-windows-mixed-reality also I think you should try out going back to 90 hz and enable the reprojection always to get a steady 45 fps. This can hopefully result in a good experience. it does for me.
  12. Can you explain further how to achieve this?
  13. Question, I now have the mouse coupled to my headset en look were I want to click. the issue I am having now is that the pointer is slightly high in my center of view causing me to have to look more down to reach certain buttons. is there a way to move that center a bit more down using a lua file?
  14. Thanks, that sounds great. but I was actually wondering if one could have a native windows app open while using DCS, position it in 3D and also interact with it using the mouse.
  15. hey all, I’ve ordered a G2 and was wondering if it is possible to show a desktop app in VR (as kneeboard) while in DCS and also interact with it? thanks.
  16. Hi, can you put me on the list please. thanks.
  17. Hey friends, This week I got an email from one of our fellow simmers asking if I could update yawc since it wasn’t working anymore on the latest version of iOS. It was a bit a trip down memory lane. It has been quite a while since I looked at this app and I was surprised it was still used. Today I created an update so that it will continue to work. I hope it will be available later this week. This led me also to take a look at how many users yawc still has. I was surprised to learn that past month the app still had ~100 active users. How cool! Working on the update I was confronted with a design, that quite frankly, made me cringe. :megalol: (Help needed @TigersharkBAS :helpsmilie:) But you know, time... I also found that users are still posting reviews. And good ones as well! This was great to read and made me think even more about updating. So, now I find myself wondering if I should update. The current version of yawc is iPad only, iOS only. Nowadays I also develop with flutter, which enables me to create apps which would run on iOS, Android and even desktop at a later stage. So the question for you is: Would you be interested in a revamped mobile app, available for all devices? If I would embark on this project, I would want to make it so that it would cater for all aircraft, beside the generic info on airfields and such. My proposition would be that I would be helped by the community with creating content. I would come up with an excel sheet format with which checklists can be formatted by users, which I will convert and embed in the app. This way we would be able to have all aircraft available in the app. A same format could be created for images and other info-graphics. If you are interested in this, please let me know in the thread, so I can make an informed decision if my efforts would be useful and the app would be used. Also, all idea’s for functionality are welcome.
  18. +1
  19. Ah, ok. Thank you for clarifying
  20. This I don’t understand. How does 17,17,112 relate to -0.36, 0.22, 0, 1 from the post above? I also don’t get the negative values. What does that offer more than the regular 0/255 - 255/255 rgb values. I have tried to make the green just a bit darker by using 0, 180/255, 0, 255/255 which would be a slightly darker green. in this case I didn’t see a difference in green on the hud and it didn’t seem to work. But when doing 0, 0, 0, 1 it was black. It seems very straightforward but it confuses me quite a bit.
  21. Hi, Thanks for creating this. After some work I was able to get my A10-C in the air, only to find out I had no bombs  back to the airfield, load up and off again. After starting an "easy - air to ground" mission. I could get the JTAC status, but was not able to contact JTAC using the comms menu. I'm a bit lost here and I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Any hints? P.S. do I have to do something special to get my own skin working? I could select it in the loadout menu, but it didn't load the skin. (I created the skin in 2014-ish and getting back into the A10 now) thanks!
  22. Hi, Tigershark brought this thread to my attention regarding downloading yawc. The reason you're not finding the app is probably because you are searching on an iPhone in the app store. But since yawc is an iPad only app it will not be listed on the iPhone. You can find a link to the app in the first post of this thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=84739 If you have feature requests, you can post those in the same thread. enjoy!
  23. Thank you
