Gazelle is also early access and last time it was 60% bonus event I was able to buy it.

LOL The reptilians from MS have invaded Italy! :D

Is F5e included? Because for it it doesn't seem to work. Also C-101 looks in same situation. I don't know the rest of the modules because I have them all minus one and didn't checked.

It's just a collection of skins accumulated over the years... I'm not sure where those skins are from. Thanks for update!

For the Mi-8 you can use a mod made by HungaroJet http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/446451/ Note that now it is not compatible with Integrity Check. ED should just make this default imho. For An-2 biplane... it's trickier... there is no updated 3d mesh but there is one small texture done years ago by one modder which sadly I forgot who he is (I'd bet he's a very known one). This texture does enough to reduce the nausea induced by looking at the poor plane. I attach a small JSGME/OvGME mod that contains just that. Note that if you have some map texture pack mod (like Starway's) you can simply put the file in the archive with the name LandTextures... Sorry if it sounds complicated... it isn't it's a 3 second job that take 60 seconds to describe :D. If you use JSGME just extract from the archive the folder (without the text files) named "AN-2 texture Mod" to your _Mods folder and activate. If you are using OvGME (which I recommend and it is way cooler! http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=171956) then you either copy the entire archive as is into OvGME Mods folder and activte it... or you can use the uber "import mod" function from OvGME menus and import the mod (essentially copy it) from your Downloads folder to Mods folder and activate it. And since we are at An-2... Someone please build an An-2 module! :pilotfly: EDIT Author of AN-2 small retexture is CHSubZero! Archive updated. AN-2 texture Mod.zip

Anyone Else Having an Issue with the 60% off sale?
zaelu replied to Cavemanhead's topic in Payment and Activation
Same here. No 60% Discount. Last time when such bonus was On it was also a small delay... Maybe it's the same this time. -
You really see things in text lines :) Yes there is the problem and it might be something with the ° (I think is the Alt+Num0176) character. If you look in this picture you can see how the mod looks in "folder style" (right) and how it got in archive (left) Also the files couldn't be places inside those folders so they were dumped at outside as you can see... also truncated (although the files inside have no ° character in names. I deleted the ° from folder names and... still same thing files were dumped outside. Then I tried to open the files by double clicking them and... surprise... IrfanView said the files were corrupted. So I removed the two Italian skins folders from original mod and now it worked. EDIT Still the problem is the characters in the names though. The dds files look corrupted but if I rename them from the complicated name to just 1.dds... they are not corrupted anymore. I think that character is there in the names but not shown in the windows Explorer and everybody goes boom! I will rename the files manually as in description.lua where they are not defined with any ° character. EDIT 2 I had to rename also the folder names to something simpler and written manually because although I deleted that ° character it still refused to work... the files inside looked corrupted. So I renamed the folders Italy1 and Italy2 and finaly it worked. I wonder if ° is done somehow different on a Italian keyboard? meaning is not Alt+0176 but some other character set? The mod is in fact a collection of skins downloaded by me and I guess those skins are from an Italian modder... if I am not mistaken.

This is my log The archive is not 0kb but is very good this time. It has 350MB and is OK.
-
OK, I made close to 10 mods (with skins so big files) all worked minus the last one. The archive is big... seems to have all files but when I try to activate it says: The log at this location is empty (and old 22Aout2016): C:\Users\bogda\AppData\Roaming\OvGME\log.txt The good part is when closing the OvGME no other errors appear! What to do next?
-
Link is the same as above? https://github.com/sedenion/ovgme/releases/download/1.6.3-64/OvGME.exe

This might be some valid trail. When I put the mods to be finished on the desktop I had no problem but then I got lazy and made it create them directly into Mods folder... and with big archives for skins (hundreds of megs) the bug appeared. I will test now that I am home 1.63 :pilotfly:
-
OK. Will do. I will return home from work in few hours. P.S. Above I was meaning the folder structure is always there intact. Only the files within (sub)folders are missing. Once when I opened an archive immediately after creation and navigate inside the subfolders I saw files appearing one by one... but no all and that archive was also not good.
-
Actually... I don't think it has anything to do with the dots or other strange characters in the path... it seems random some how. Because I redone some mods without doing anything and it worked this time. One mod took 4 or 5 tries until it worked most of the times the files were discarded only the directory structure was inside the archive but once, I saw few files in it... even appearing as I open one the folders from archive... like they were still written although the mod creation was completed "successfully".
-
I had the same problem like fill. I made some screenshots What I observed is when the archives that didn't worked were made they were empty although they should have been full of skin files. I entered one of the folders and just renamed a subfolder with a dot in name... like "fol.der" I'm not sure that this did it but after that it worked.

That would be an idea but also something like this will be easier and satisfy other people that don't use like me an axis (like Golo above) I think also the drop down custom cockpit livery would be nice to have in Mig21 but that is a different thing.
-
There are cases (I admit I am one of them) where exactly that is a problem. I use zoom on axis and finding the same middle point with an axis is difficult (especially a spiky one) and a bit nauseating . Example: I fly with FOV 100°. If I want to scan a zone of the sky for a contact I might use zoom so I twist the zoom wheel and zoom in that patch of sky. After I spotted the contact (or not) I want to zoom back to the same 100° FOV with my axis (no button snap button and other tricks) so what I do is "slam" the zoom wheel back to the max out position which... in my case is exactly 100°. I don't want to go never beyond 100° because it's ugly and fighting to find the spot manually is nauseating (as I said especially if the axis is spiking). Also in combat adding this extra task of fighting the zoom wheel for few seconds to find a good spot for normal zoom level is not to be desired. So to sum up, some might want only the range from Normal zoom to Zoom In and NOT the range from Normal to Maximum zoom out. Like some might not want the cream on the coffee... at all, even if it can be removed with a spoon... almost and take a bit of work. After the next Patch Mig21 will not have this ability without breaking the IC. I know is not a problem of DCS Mig21Bis module but maybe you LNS could point this out to ED since you had a decent setup until now (the only one). I created a thread a while ago in wish list area about this issue. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=171225 PS Or maybe some settings in Special tab like Mi-8 has for zoom?

PicksKing Modded Texture Compilation PMTC V2.2
zaelu replied to PicksKing's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Nice compilation. The clouds shadow mod of Mustang is still working with 15.4? I had the impression is not anymore. If you want you can try the new GME software made by sedenion here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=171956 You could update the mod with it too. -
Oh... I had only N/A :)
-
Any chance for new features? :) One will be a way to update the software at least for small increments without disabling the mods. Other might be some more icons or columns in each mod line to represent things like a grand category (examples Textures, Fix, Audio etc) or provenience (repository site when this feature will catch to the public it might be a good thing to see where is that mod taken/updated. Also a column for date of download/install and a column with the version number. Thanks for your work.

I use Win10. I like it. No problems. Of course I opted out of helping MS with bandwidth and data.
-
Holding LCtrl+Tab also works. Then quick show with just tab works normally.
-
Looking good! You tide up the menus also. Thanks for update!!

They say everything is on the headset! I'd expect some "bugs"... but the promise is... great!

Good news. Next week I think I will be able to test the network functions too.
