  1. I am very sorry but my French is no way near "public release" :D But, Sedenion looks like he is also from France and he looks native :) , maybe he can make the Help file also in French?
  2. I added an annotation  I have in ear headphones and it seemed to me loud enough for me at that hour... during the day... it's different :) The option to make an Archive Mod is just a feature of the program made by Sedenion that lets you create a mod inside an archive without using external archive managers or caring too much about how to construct it.
  3. I hope it helps... I didn't had the time (it was also late) to make it with a script and neither a software to edit it and make it "Mtv style" :) so it took me 9 minutes. :joystick:
  4. +1 ApoNOOB. This thread should be moderated a bit more. Pages of stick measuring and whining are bad taste for such great round 8.
  5. People eating the appetizers but thinking at dessert...
  6. Slowly modders will start using OvGME then I think they will start delivering the mods as archives structured as OvGME can use with the manifest where they can also post information and copy rights. Then webpages with mods will start using them as made by modders without any other alteration (re-packing etc) and then I think from squad sites to big sites they will start hosting the manifests lists and they will become repositories. Then... it will be a matter of users choices until few sites will become main repositories. Even DCS main site could have one list with manifests.
  7. As I am no programmer... I can only imagine :D .
  8. Me too I updated without any problems. Mig21 still working without any additional activation taken.
  9. Whatever is easier for you sedenion, I'm glad you take the request!
  10. Then I'll keep my monitor a few more years :)
  11. What is you monitor watermanpc? Pretty much is a monitor issue. I see your bandings because I have a crappy/old one but my guessing is that someone wit a brand new ISPS bling bling monitor will not see it.
  12. Decentralized way is the best. Multiple repositories list would be good. even with FTP support. User could insert their own repositories addresses in some list inside the app and eventually as the hings evolve some will become "master" some will be just secondary/squad/personal/
  13. You have 2 waypoints... a lot of info can be extrapolated using them. I'm guessing you refer to HSI and not the other instruments that work just fine in FC3.
  14. Me neither. After an update I played during the night then shut down the PC without issues. In the morning it didn't worked anymore... I scratched my head and tried to think what could be different and that was the only thing.
  15. Do you have headtracking different than TrackIR? If so, try starting the tracking before starting DCS. My DCS does not start if I have not started before tracking in OpenTrack.
  16. Although I couldn't find enough time to play my Mig... Yes! Totally worth it! Yes it should! It should be primary tool and TS secondary/chat tool. I think many speak other language than "Official English" and prefer to stay on their own TS and chat... collaborate and then communicate with the team via PTT over SRS on essential bits. Entering on a different TS server where sometimes people like to "role play" in different quantities can be a deterrent to communicate in some instances. SRS solves these and makes it all realistic also.
  17. As long as it works, your choice is welcomed! After all features are complete... and tested by many... maybe that net thing is next? :D having mods manually updated and most important manually checked for updates on forums instead of pushed in by an app is a pain in the back. For example I keep my skins also as mods. If one author updates the skins... I need to do the research again and all the download... unrar... copy... rename mod folder again. With an integrated automatic updates pushing things would be much better and a lot of organizing would be made easier... you can add categories for mods, auto change versions and release dates (I change my mods folders names to include always the type of mod, author, version as author published and date of install) etc.
  18. I can confirm it works now!
  19. Use autostart. Usually is Windows+Home. Take it easy. Small steps. First fly the plane in airstart if it is more comfortable for you. All setup... ready to fight. Then add difficulty as you feel.
  20. Thank you! I also observed the bug (I entered Blue flag yesterday and all was... green :D ). I wanted first to be sure is not something bad from my part or at least to catch a bit more specific when it appears (I thought that maybe the fact that I use Starway's mod that also has modded files in folders beside the archives might be at fault) but work got its toll for today time and I couldn't post. Good if 64bit solves it! Why not making only 64bit as it is now the norm?
  21. Is there a problem with SRS or nobody uses it anymore? Cause it was very silent on 126. (I think I heard 3 syllables though... but each separated by 15 minutes or so :) )
  22. Maybe you find someone that knows and can help you. It would totally change the way we "mod" dcs now. Do you know nexus mod manager? Something like it would be really powerful. I found them. Looks Good! The only small downsize of this approach is is people have little space in C:\ and they manage multiple games/versions with big mods.. it might clutter the C drive. Maybe an option later to change the Backup Path? I agree and I think your choice is valid. It activates mods very fast (I have 51 active... :) )
  23. Awesome! Thank you for doing this!!! Next feature would be (online or offline) sources for mods updates and in app notification of update available! :D P.S. How is it doing the backups?
  24. The Magnetic trim currently doesn't work with FFB stick, correct? Hence it is useless for such sticks, which is a bit of let down as it was suppose to be simulated best with FFB.
  25. He wants to be sure if radar still has bugs or not... confirmed ones. terence44 best way to check is to look here: https://leatherneck-sim.mantishub.io/view_all_bug_page.php If you see a radar bug as solved then you need to wait if it was applied with a patch. Unfortunately Cobra is sick again and can't post last change log. I saw some modifications were made to MIG21 last patch but I was dumb/tired enough to close the "FolderSpy" application without saving the log. How ever, if some changes are made within dll files... we can only assume what it was... not know for sure.
