  1. Add a simple letter and here is DCS World Of Submarines :megalol:
  2. Spetz, I'm not sure I understand what you just said... could you be more explicit please ?
  3. Very, very good video! In my opinion way better than ED's... You should show it to Wags and see if they want to use it for DCS promotion! Thanks for sharing...
  4. I made a mod "correcting" the same problem on the TPOD. You could do the same for the HUD ... it's just a matter of finding the right file.
  5. Good work circle-linking the same thread :megalol::megalol::smilewink:
  6. well, it works here
  7. It looks like DCS thinks you haven't bought the Harrier module. This is what happens if you try and use a slot in a MP mission for a module you don't own, iirc
  8. Actually, if you start a Harrier with fueled-up external tanks, and then refuel, they'll be filled (you have to wait for the light on the refuel control panel to blink). If you start with empty tanks, they never get filled...
  9. Here is the new version, as promised; sorry for the delay... Please give me your comments! Instant Zoom keybind.zip
  10. That's because the first version didn't work for all aircrafts ; I'll push the new version as soon as I hit home ;)
  11. Glasses or not, I like being able to zoom on my cockpit (real-life definition is of course so much better than in a game, we need the zoom to compensate) or outside, in the real world (actual pilots use binoculars for this). I've prepared a new version of my mod, which I'll post tonight when I come back from work. In the meantime : I've added 4 commands to the list of commands available for you to map : - instant 30 degrees (narrow) FOV that snaps back to normal zoom when you release the key - same with 60 degrees (medium) - 30 degrees FOV that stays until you press the "back to normal zoom" command (numpad enter by default) - same with 60 degrees You have to map these new commands in all the aircrafts you want to fly, to a key on your keyboard or a button on your stick (better)
  12. Ah, great ! This is indeed very useful and something Target does not do out of the box. Thank you ! If I understand correctly, this means that we can use your software to define (override) specific functions for a few buttons and leave the rest to DCS ? I would like to see your Ka-50 profile, please... Regards, Zip.
  13. Hi Avantar, Thank you for your time and efforts. What advantages does your program have over TM Target ? You don't seem aware of the fact that DCS indeed supports multiple-position switches (e.g. this post for the Harrier)...
  14. Yes, but the question is : is this normal ? You would expect that the apparent size of objects is maintained regardless of the resolution (as it's done on other games : my gun is not twice as small in Arma now that I've got twice the res)
  15. Splash: simply use my JSGME/OVGME mod, it's easier.
  16. ditto, same here with a 2500x1440 res
  17. Same, never crashed for 6 years
  18. Hi Eldur ! Thanks to your post, I finally made what I wanted for months : a button that zooms in when pressed, and zooms out when released... Yes, like in BMS ;) Here's the JSGME / OVGME mod. Hope you like it ! Instant Zoom keybind.zip
  19. It worked before ; the trick is to set one TACAN to something low (e.g. 1) and the other to this number plus 63 (e.g. 64). Then choose T/R, Air mode and you'll have the distance and a spining TACAN compass (no bearing available).
  20. About IC : probably not as it modifies files in the DCS root folder (not Saved Games) About JSGME : I recommend using JSGME or (better) OVGME to install mods, as they make it very easy to combine multiple mods without problems and remove them easily. About realism : when I'll be using a true-to-life cockpit with a real CRT MPCD I'll handle a little "flyscreen" effect ; but atm I think one of the devs took a closeup of his blue jeans and photoshoped it green ;)
  21. Here's a mod (JSGME compatible) that I made with modified textures ; I kept the color while removing the "flyscreen" door effect, for MPCD and HUD. Hope this helps ! AV8B MPCD Color.zip
  22. That's because I'm an ass and I reversed the effect... It's the opposite : when in front of the a/c you travel faster than the sound could come to you in the opposite direction : it can never reach you → thus no sound in front...
  23. This reminds me of another similar report ; I think you're not the only one with this bug (if it is indeed a bug), captflyby...
  24. Well it's normal : from behind the plane you do not hear the sound because it's behind you (camera moving faster that sound) while from the front it's ... well in front of you ;)
  25. I once started working on such an app for iPad (remember me, BaD CrC ?) but stopped because someone else had more advance on a similar app ... Unfortunately it was never released...
