My opinion, get the HOTAS first is you must make a choice, that said taxing & yaw etc. will be done with either assigned buttons or a modifier on your stick.
I imagine a few solenoids and servos for both the HSI and ADI each also developing them poses a significant investment of man hours and cash.
Would really like to grab them in a DIY kit too.
options > controls > A10C sim/real then select axis from the menu and assign the axis you want.
although assign them to your controller also you might want to remove any other controls incorrectly assigned to pitch/roll.
any IR can mess things up even candles and refracted light from reflections can do it.
All that said I prefer the track clip pro ..... when its not braking!!
honestly I think that this is something not aimed at simmers.
You probably could export the lua to it if you wrote an app to display that information on that little screen.
For the $300 involved I would suggest getting the ThrustMaster Cougar pack and an extra screen so that you could export the 2 MFCD displays to the 2nd screen and place the cougars over it kinda like this.
I think the above would be a better investment.
I never did the training in single player but I bet you are missing a triggure so try to intersect what ever way points are visible or do you have to fly formation with flight lead?
