  1. I can vouch for BlackMagic's credibility. It is my understanding that civilian air craft do not do this, but military aircraft do.
  2. Looks great, is it the right height??
  3. Your issue may be else where, I assume you are running DCS in windowed mode and your monitors are side by side in windows settings.
  4. I sense much impatience in you! Yep and weirdly enough, my beta sees the update but not my main install :(
  5. assuming you have it (them) already working in 1.2.6 all you need to do is load into single player 1.2.7 and click on module manager and find the A10A and click install :smartass: all the work should be done automatically for you.:joystick:
  6. You yell "shut up Betty" when the car starts beeping for any reason. When recounting to you mates of a girl entered a bar and started the "I'm single poses" you describe her as "initiating ACM"
  7. @MacFevre lol no, I meant it the other way. I'm stealing the idea of making a recess in the back of the button to help secure it onto the momentary, from your post. I plan on using a flange on the base & an extra layer as a guide if there is more travel in the button press. I have yet to have my UFC cut so no idea as to glue yet.
  8. That's awesome, I love the way the wear and tear makes it look just like the real Russian stuff.
  9. haha love the cup holder, its what every A10 needs.
  10. @MacFevre thats the right way to do the buttons (i.e. idea stolen:) ) Damn, seems I'm a little envious of that stash of steam gauges, any tips if I want to try my luck getting some
  11. I cant hit esc in multiplayer or bring up chat / loadout radio's work fine anybody else have this problem with 1.2.7?
  12. I've just "ordered" 2 of these and at this price there is no reason Santa cant get these past the Minister of finance :D http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/1411344849/8_inch_Small_LCD_TV_monitor.html
  13. I'm pretty sure they would after all the Mi8 seems to be capable of semi submersion ;)
  14. AFAIK it is laser etched maybe try this? http://www.derivan.com.au/derivan-products/fluorescent-products.html and some LEDs to make it glow
  15. About time you posted on here looks great so far. keep it going!! back lighting will so be worth it when it is done.
  16. Anyone have a .DWG for a hairy back??:doh::megalol:
  17. the anti-Laser Least it is the same back in these photos. the more I look at it, the more I think a laser cutter/etcher would be somthing I could use.
  18. what so MS can collect even more data on you from your PC too  I have an anti-trust policy for these guys.
  19. have you got UHF working as well & what exactly would be required to drive what you have here? open cockpits card + display card?
  20. I wonder when we are going to model grandma's cooking fires in DCS ;) Jokes aside, what sort of false alarms should we see. I've worked out that some Russian MBT set it off with some kind of projectile when they fire. Remember folks "rifle" THEN launch not the other way around :joystick:
  21. My thoughts are that you could use this for external views and the MFCD + CDU. CastAR is stereoscopic (i.e.3D) is priced about $300 (AFAIK) and 1 or 3 projectors are priced much higher. Also I imagine it would be much lower performance hit on the computer, as far as I understand, it only renders whats in your field of view. I bet a 3D DCS with proper depth perception will make formation flying and landings much easier.
  22. Woot was just chatting to Jeri on skype on the live stream. I am so going to get this idea for a sim pit going :)
  23. Yeah, MK82 for this one and it would keep the virtual bean counters happy too
