  1. Yes, but the brain will correlate the images to give a perceived resolution of about 1920*1080. I imagine seeing a gauge in 3d will make it easy to read ( parallaxing errors excluded ;) )
  2. I'm really keen for this to work. I recon that if the projection can be made to work at a high quality it will be incredible for home made pits, only I cant see how I will be able to make a working HUD with it :(
  3. try starting at page 45 and reading forward or at least skim over the pics.
  4. I'd be happy if the 2 where combined some how, but it just isnt going to happen both from a business perspective and a technical (IMHO).
  5. was $25000 for the interface software or a full simulation? Do the not want to separate the drivers? How about just some documentation will they sell you that?
  6. I so believe it, no wonder you made her a keeper. You realize how many pics are going to be needed to satisfy the fans now? A find like that wont crop up again in a hurry.
  7. dont forget about leverage, no vehicale is lifted from the start position they all start from a higher position due to wheels etc. I bet the designers knew this.
  8. Some ppl have all the luck, but hell I want to know how it ended up in a dumpster in the first place.
  9. I think this is great will have to use this as a way to do VR and see my hands/pit.
  10. looks great looks solid and very functional. What is it like without a slope on the MIP?
  11. very nice! +1 for a video :) whats up with your flaps?
  12. I suggest making Android 2.3 your baseline as you will get a much larger potential user base. That said I'm keen for this.
  13. Interested in this. I want to know if the different LED positions affect tracking, maybe it could be bent to the same locations?
  14. Looks great thats what I want for an extension, just hope the spring will still have enough authority to stay centered.
  15. I think you may be asking this one on the wrong forums. There has to be a Arduino forum some where with this as a sticky. Hope this link is useful http://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/JoyStick
  16. Well I hope you enjoy your journey, and dont forget the obligatory extensive pics :)
  17. Some ppl like to do things themselves but I am just using Helios it's great & is recommended. I have never heard of pushing too many buttons for too long causing a BSOD. I assure you that compared to running a external HDD through USB it does not rate much. This is all just my opinion though.
  18. or just release an update of BS2 to accept BS2 update keys, simple & effective. the only loss is that you would lose out on profit$ of BS2update owners buying the game again. BUT it's still better than the profit loss due to PR on the subject.
  19. looks great. you did really well, especially considering the type of wood you used! good luck with the seat it's one of the things I am stuck on too.
  20. @GC1993 That's the path I would recommend at present. The WH and the A10c are both worth it.
  21. I would love to do this too. I might have to look into it, nice work.
  22. it's so easy to fall into the PIO, I use the depressable piper as an absolute reference to attitude it helped stop me chasing the VVI around. What I do to use it is adjust it to match the VVI position when in trimmed out level flight with speed matched to the tanker (it is that right most rocker switch on the UFC, keep your eye on the HUD when you hold it down)
  23. just put them both in a pack & everyone is happy
  24. I say why not have civ Traffic they can do there 9-5 flight school and I'll fly past in my ugly bad ass A10C with increased imersion and more of a need for basic aviation skills like app/dep headings.... all good things in my mind. I'm more against Mario kart *ahem* I mean FC3 stuff ;)
