I am so going to do this I just thought to align it well would take some expensive stuff you could try using alloy reflective plate to remove double imaging from the lower mirror. @sleepara you would think if the screen and your hud had the same focal point you wouldnt get the stereoscopic praralaxing errors :(

great stuff!! maybe replace the lower mirror with a reflective plate so you dont get one of the refractions? I know there is some great stuff made from aluminum no idea on cost ....google here I come :)

I'd love to toy with this a bit myself, bu I dont see how it could be made accurate without big $$$ :( how did the acrylic sheet work out for proof of concept?

its an awesome engine but I dont know of havok being used in any large scale flight sim's :(

@Evil.Bonsai I too had my rudder reversed many moons ago. My advice is just switch them to the right way and just leave them like that you will soon adapt. If you want it to become autonomous quicker try flying in Arma2 where all you do is focus on input, without having to do any head down.

have you tried changing USB slots? are they both on a USB hub? I hear the X52 software can do strange things maybe try a reinstall. ps dont forget to post what version of windows etc. etc.

this makes me think that there are more air craft you could do with a set up like that, maybe a couple of gunships too.

+1 on the warthog but hey some one will do an F16 for DCS World so a working kitty would be good to have as well ;)

is it possible to just make a backing plate and rivet it to the broke one? maybe thats a little red neck but as a temporary practically free measure......

Thats a neat gearing solution, think I will be doing the same for mine.

My experience is that if Windows8 was involved it would not help FPS at all. although this excludes DCS world. Still windows8 is the new WindowsME and (so far) about as useless. Stick with Windows7 x64 because if it aint broke........

if you are running the game in windowed mode yes make your desktop resolution the same as what is in game. if you are running full screen then run the desktop and game in different resolutions all you like. PS. you can change the size of your fonts (text) in any version of windows DCS will run on.

ignore the SIZE of your monitors and only pay attention to the resolution. so if you have 2 monitors @ 1280*1024 your combined resolution is 2360*1024 if you are still having problems it is with your LUA files are you running it windowed or full screen?

perhaps there will be a DCS world pack with all current airframes included? That would be awesome if it came in a nice box with a manual I'd buy it even if I was paying money for the A10C and KA50 again :D I dont think BS1 would be supported in the same way a BS1 serial key wont activate BS2.

looking nice, I hope the extra height of that dash doesnt cause problems later tho.

seem you've given it life extension. how does it feel any snagging? whats the toe breaks like when making fine adjustments?
