  1. Hey, I understand that this happens after you restarted/ reset the campaign right? You can try skipping Mission 1, through the F10 Radio menu. There is an option when the mission starts. Open the F10 Radio menu and you will see "Skip Mission". Hope this helps Greg
  2. Hey, this is actually a "feature" and not a bug Packages Fish and Pickles are not counted as losses in the campaign's background computation. They are disappearing through triggers on their way back to avoid any AI issues during their landing or so. If you see from your attached tacview file, they are getting out of the Area of interest and then dissapear We had to take measures like this to avoid specific AI behavior problems. As such your mission was succesfull and no "point" was lost. I hope you are enjoying the rest of the features of the campaign. Greg
  3. Hey, not script related. It happens under certain circumstances (during engagements until an enemy aircraft is getting shot down) due to possible DL related issue. It's already reported and not a campaign related issue. You unfortunately get it during the campaign depending on the progress of the campaign and the air activity.
  4. Hey do you mean the campaign pdf files? If so they are located in "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\campaigns\FA-18C Operation Pontus\Doc" Greg
  5. Hey apologies for the delay. We are checking our options on this, as it would be really nice to have. Made some tests on how it could work as an official DLC campaign and should be doable. The problem is the campaign interface (you will need to open each mission separately and not run it as a campaign). Will come back here soon Greg
  6. Hey, In the end of each mission, your XO provides debriefing mentioning if the result of the mission was a success etc. Then he suggests tasks for the next mission. We plan to upgrade these messages with more details in the near future but it should give you all the details needed to plan your strategy. Greg
  7. Hey thanks for your feedback. We always look to improve the UX of the campaign so we plan to upgrade it in the near future with new ideas. Greg
  8. Hey thank you. I understand that you mean the points that are shown in the mission debriefing. The targets are map objects, therefore you don't get points in the debriefing page but it's not relevant to the campaign's progress. The success of the mission is calculated in the background and you receive another code which you can use to continue. The 99 points "hack" was used during the campaign's design to let you proceed to the correct mission. In general you shouldn't worry for the internal campaign system for this campaign but just follow the campaign's status :) Hope this helps Greg
  9. Hey apologies for the delay, I see that the victory conditions were triggered but I am still digging for the reason. You can however follow this step to continue the campaign: 1) Edit your logbook.lua file that is located in the following path: Users/..../Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/MissionEditor Locate the Operation Pontus campaign and change its active mission to: Operation Pontus Stage 2.1_Clear.miz This way it will start you from this mission file the next time you will open your DCS Setup and launch the campaign. 2) Then use the following code: ECHO - HOTEL - DELTA - DELTA - BRAVO You can go use the debriefing details that you attached here. Let us know if all is ok and you can continue the campaign Greg
  10. Hey thank you, could you please let us know the Campaign Progress code you have entered into the last mission you played before getting the end results? The campaign can be up to 30x sorties but it's not easy to complete only in 9x missions because of the various special tasks that will pop up. If it's possible to give me screenshots of the codes you used, I can go through troubleshooting and provide you a tip to continue (a small edit in the logbook and a new code). Thanks a lot Greg
  11. Hey, the losses and any events in general are taken into account in the campaign's calculations and generate the code for each mission. As mentioned in the briefings and status, the SAMs are mobile units so they are moving anyways a bit further or even further away from their initial locations depending on the events. For the fighters we don't count specific numbers but the losses impact the air superiority variables. As you have specific squadron packages (e.g. Fish, Trimmer etc) those ones are available again even if they are shot down simulating that they are being rescued through CSAR missions. Their temporary losses count though again in the background. Greg
  12. Hey, yes an ACMI file would be great too. No need to replay it. Yes please, in case you would like to save a track you should select this option on mission end. Thanks a lot Greg
  13. Hey thanks for your purchase. There is unfortunately a reported DCS bug that is related with these FPS drop cases. It's not a campaign issue. You should have less fps loss while you progress the campaign. However we updated the missions in order to smooth it out us much as we can from our side and it's reported to ED. Our fixes should be available in the next DCS Open beta update. Hopefully it's going to be better soon Greg
  14. Hey, during your debriefing you can go to the F10 Map and see the red mark (circle). This will be your optional ground target. The targets are map objects so yes they are buildings You don't have to search for any additional placed unit. An important note. The strike coordinates are optional (except of the special missions that will pop up later). That means that you can execute other roles/ tasks apart from strike but if you select to execute strike, then these are the coordinates that you should attack. Hope that helps. Greg
  15. These are functions that great community members like Grimes (MiST) have already created and we are able to use along with DCS Scripting engine to get the results in the missions. About the missing circles, I unfortunately can't think of a reason at the moment. They should appear after the debriefing message and should be visible in the F10 map (not in the mission planner). Please let us know if it still happens for you. Should have some videos soon that can help to check if anything is missed in the process. Thanks again Greg
  16. Thanks a lot! Wow an AI blue on blue? That's a good idea, we can add fuel status request by script. Adding it in the to do list. 1. Didn't have this before unfortunately. Will check it out. 2. Yes it's fixed for the upcoming update 3. This seems a bug related with the AI wingman and Supercarrier. When you ask your wingman to land it keeps having these calls. Will try it again and report accordingly. 4 Hmm you didn't have any red circles or do you mean that they didn't match the coordinates ? You should see them after some seconds. Thanks again Greg
  17. Hey thanks a ton for the feedback. - Thanks for spotting the leftover. Will correct for the next update - Comms - kneeboard is corrected internally and will be available soon. - Some of the AI behaviour is also improved by making some changes for RTB, Low Flying (meaning the changes we can do from our side - triggers/ scripts) - About the strike task, probable our fault by missing a good explanation. The AI will attack fortified units (probable got already messages about succesfull fortified units destroyed?). Will make sure it is explained in the manual and mission Thanks again Greg
  18. Hey thanks, no the labels and easy comms settings are fixed internally and should be changed in the upcoming update. Greg
  19. Hey, these are the 8x areas that are mentioned in the campaign's manual in the section about the victory conditions. One of your coalition's goal is to liberate these areas. We used the initial point markers just so that the player can use them as a reference while planning. Hope that helps. Greg
  20. Hey, thanks for all the feedback! About the notification. There is actually a notification mentioning that the targets were destroyed successfully. There are cases that you won't see the notification, if you think that the building is destroyed completely but for DCS it won't count like this. This happens if you drop less effective bombs (e.g. GBU 12) on a strong building etc. In your case 2x GBU 24s should be good though but maybe it was a tougher building that needed even more bombs on it. If that's the case then you should plan for a "heavier" attack Greg
  21. It should work Would be great to see more from the strategy that you will follow and the results. Greg
  22. Yes, the updates are going only through the official ED's DCS updates. Greg
  23. Thanks, we have improved behavious internally and will soon send the updated files to ED. Currently you unfortunately can't set their altitude. Did you use the RTB options once out of X weapons? This option tends to work better than just ask them to RTB Greg
  24. Thanks! You can assign strike tasks but maybe you mean the option to assign them to attack the target that was given in the briefing? If so, no this is only related for your package at the moment. Will check all our options based on this feedback and shall come back in a future update Greg
  25. Hey, thank you very much for your feedback. Noted them down and they are doable for sure Greg
