  1. Hi, Has anyone tried a finger mouse? It looks like a trackball taped to your finger. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002MTIW98/ref=pe_3187911_185740111_TE_item
  2. Yes I searched everywhere for this too. Drove me nuts. In the end I think I made the dead zone a bit bigger. That was the best I could come up with. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  3. Hi, Please would you add me to the list. Cheers Andrew Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  4. I've just started using Matric. I have a 10 inch tablet set up as ufc and also f number page and radio controls. You can size the buttons and make as large as you wish. You soon learn how far to reach out. Also voice attack. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  5. I found unplugging and plugging back into usb 3 worked for me. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  6. Really simple to make a Ufc. With my old num pad and stickers. I'm pretty impressed with this software, very customisable. I just need to add an enter key, which I forgot. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  7. In the Sale? Really obvious when I started setting up the "deck". Just input rows and columns. Very simple to use. Looks great.
  8. I'd quite like to buy this but there's an error on the website. Is it working for anyone else? Cheers Andrew
  9. Thanks, I really appreciate it. I've been flying with the dcs bindings but it niggled that I couldn't have laap options all on one switch so I decided to give the saitek software a go. After trying to load the .Pro file directly in to dcs for a couple of hours it dawned on me that the joystick is basically a very clever keyboard. I just had to match the .Pro and dcs by hand. So I'm just getting my head around it, sorted out latching and I've even got the knee board on a rotary that when turned will advance a page a second, which I thought was pretty cool. I am struggling with the coolie hat long command. I'm not sure how to do that. Any help would be really appreciated. Cheers Andrew Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  10. Hi I have recently purchased an X56 which I'm pretty happy with. I used to just fly the Huey and used a sidewinder force feedback 2, not much programming need there! But now I wish to get to grips with the A10 c and other modules and learn how to program the joystick correctly using Saitek software. I have only used DCS to configure controls and key binds. I'm sure this is really simple and maybe I'm just having a bad day but how does the Saitek software interact with DCS? I understand about loading profiles. So just so I can get my head around it could someone tell me if this thinking is correct. Joystick is a keyboard I press button 1 and that needs to relate to a key Does that key relate to a keyboard key? Can I have G on the keyboard as a CDU input and button 1 as G in the Saitek software? Or would button 1 now press G on the CDU? I've looked on the internet but I'm struggling finding a simpletons guide:doh: Cheers Andrew
  11. In trail makes a lot of sense.
  12. Thanks for the replies. User error (probably as usual) I didn't have hotas mic switch set correctly. I'm learning an awful lot with this campaign, real radios for one, anchor points for another. How do I stop my wing men from crashing? Cheers Andrew Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  13. Sorry that should be 33.3 Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks for the reply, I assume I should be using the fm bottom radio? Set to 33.0 Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  15. Hi I'm really enjoying the campaign and I must say that the voice acting is very good. However I'm having problems talking to my flight on the radio. I get the scripted communications fine but I can't instruct the flight or wingman to attack targets or change formation etc. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, ATC works fine and I'm tuning second fm radio to the correct frequency. Cheers Andrew Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  16. Been flying the uh-1 for a while and held back on the Gazelle for years as so many had concerns about it. But just bought it today and am thoroughly enjoying it. Pretty pleased with the FM so far and is a substantial difference to the huey. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  17. I believe that this is still not working. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  18. Yes that would be cool. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  19. Superb, that's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for replying. Number pad is coming tomorrow. I was going to give up as I was beginning to belive it wasn't possible. I've just installed voice attack and had been working setting that up. I'm pretty pleased with that too. I'm new to vr and with these tools I'm finding it very immersive. 20. Hi I'm thinking of adding a gaming keyboard and number pad and peaking through the bottom of the rift. Will the keyboards show as different entities, ie will 1 on the main keyboard be different to 1 on the number pad? Just trying to think of easy workarounds. Cheers Andrew Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  21. centre screen stuck on right hand screen. help please Hi Help please, I've searched and can't find the info anywhere. I have triple monitor setup. In the windows desktop the primary screen is centre. In DCS I have it set as one screen stretched over 1920 x 3 = 5760. DCS is displayed as: Right screen shows centre of cockpit Middle screen shows left hand of plane Left screen shows my desktop. I'm sure I had this problem before and it was a eureka moment when I got it sorted. But I've forgotten how. **Update** Not sure how it has happened but all working correctly now. Deleted the LUA files a couple of times and that seems to have worked. But not 100% sure. Please help. Cheers Andrew
  22. Cheers, so just to be clear if I have no ffb (power chord unplugged) is just as realistic as having a little feedback and resistance using the trim button. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks for the information, very interesting that it can be set to the desired level of friction. Am I right in thinking that there is no feedback from the rotor at all, unlike the control surfaces from an aileron. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
  24. Many thanks for the information and detailed answer. I'll add your settings. I did think it strange that there was a force trim setting and even a little button that went up and down on the cyclic. I'll have to readjust my flying again. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
  25. Not sure. Joystick should be loose with no feedback. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
