  1. How to remove a data linked target identifier from TAD (the red triangle). Our squadron has been working with SADL and have been practising sending targets. Red triangles have been building up on the TAD and I've looked but can't work out how to delete the triangle after the task has been completed. Is it possible? We have tried CTRL, DEL-DEL Cheers Andrew
  2. Thank you. I still love my boards. Mine have slightly changed over time. I have moved the throttle back which gives me more space in front. I'm pretty pleased with it now.
  3. What are you flying, in the A10c there's a switch on the left that raises and lowers the seat, I think it's just left of the gear switch. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  4. So you didn't go down the transparent route then, I can see what you mean about not seeing your screen. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  5. That's a really good idea, I may even do that because it is a pain looking round, even trying to find my phone. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  6. Yes, you have a great setup there. What about just having a small side monitor for windows. You know DCS is always a bit of a compromise and a money pit. [emoji3] Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  7. Think of it as: The panel is correct and the monitor is too low. I have a 3 monitor set up so put everything on a side one. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  8. I'd like to see a picture of your mod. It makes sense. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  9. If I remember rightly it's much the same. I feel your pain. I've just started the world's apart campaign. Mission 1 is similar, long transit times off and on the ship but second half of the mission was much better. I'm not sure why designers add the long slogs. But I suppose we all play differently. 10. It's well worth a go. I've been flying the Huey recently and feel I need an overhead panel as my hand is floating too much. But as my kids laugh at me already, having a roof would tip them and my wife over the edge. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  11. Get a Warthog and pointctrl, if you don't have the cash get an x56 and pointctrl. Get rid of the keyboard and the mouse for full immersion. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  12. Make the change and use the software. Honestly it will open up the joystick and throttle to no end of possibilities. I'm just getting back in to the huey. As it's pretty simple I thought I wouldn't bother with the Saitek software, 1 week later, I've programmed it all in. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  13. Mine is still working well, 1 year later. Use a powered USB. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  14. I keep thinking that. Adapt an existing USB game Controller with a mechanical device. So simple. Any cheap controller would do. Thanks for the inspiration. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  15. It's got to be Pointctrl , but while you're waiting get a finger trackball, it worked OK, but doesn't match Pointctrl for immersion. https://www.urban-factory.com/en/home/683-wireless-ring-mouse-mini-mouse-to-be-used-on-finger-3760170840529.html Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  16. Much appreciated, this has happened to me a few times.
  17. I've only calibrated once. I can set up the plywood cockpit in about 5 seconds. I tab out also, mouse works fine for me, sometimes if there is a bit of ir interference it can go funny. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  18. I'm glad you posted that, I just skim read and answered. I shall take a look at this. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  19. Maybe check out VAICOM Pro, to preclude the need to mess around with the comms menu. Yes, I need to re-look at it, I purchased it but couldn't get it working and gave up. I obviously installed it wrong. Since making that video, I've tried my ply cockpit with a lot of the other modules and they all work fine, I've slightly increased the space between my throttle and the vertical board, I was struggling getting to some switches and now it works well. 20. Have you seen Matric? Works with android, it's maybe what you're after. https://matricapp.com/blog.html Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  21. It's funny, I'm just moving on to the FA18 and it struck me that some switches did this, I suppose I've been in the A10 too long and didn't notice. What I'd really like to do is put a delay on the stores emergency jettison button. Is that easy to do it's on line 630 of the clicabledata.lua but I wouldn't have a clue if it's possible.
  22. I need to delve in to the clickable data. What I'd like to do is put a 1 sec delay on the jettison button. I've found if I'm changing the weapons profile in flight I can accidentally jettison everything. Depending where your head is the button can be very close to OSB 3. 23. Yes, I've had this, but I find turning on and off at the usb seems to rectify it. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  24. Yes, I was thinking of doing that, I started mounting my Mfds to the board but I couldn't get it to work correctly. It felt less natural than having nothing there. I also need to re-work my throttle placement as it's too far forward and I have trouble accessing the cicu switches row. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  25. Change the hook bind, see if that does it, you can always change it back Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
